Turn in your Bibles to Genesis chapter 32, verses 9 through 12.
Ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, family, friends, and foes—and yes, even foes in the family, which is a very serious matter, but it goes with the territory of being a gospel preacher. However, I do thank God that He has blessed me and privileged me to be able to say that I have a few friends, a few brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, namely my children who have helped me in the ministry and helped position me to be able to do this live and on demand—that is, to preach the gospel, pray, and to preach the whole counsel of God.
One of the things that I’m going to do in this prayer service going forward is to read the verses that we preached on for every Wednesday night over 12 years—all of the verses in the Bible on prayer. Genesis chapter 32, verses 9 through 12. And hopefully it will motivate you to pray. That’s a large part of this service. I know it’s hard to believe, my beloved, but prayer is the most important thing you can do because God can help you like nobody else can. And in this world, you need God’s help. You need God’s mercy. You need God’s love. You need God’s grace in a very real sense. And prayer is the way you get it.
God has given us the privilege to come before His throne of grace, and you need to take advantage of it. In the name of Jesus Christ: Holy Father, God, bless and anoint and prosper the reading of Your Holy Word. Demonstrate the power of Your Holy Spirit. Save those who are lost. Revive those who are saved. Heal those who are sick. Comfort those who are grieving and mourning.
Here today, we praise You and we thank You for Deacon Moamp being with us again today. We do not—and Lord, You know I do not—take that for granted. The same for Brother Ramicee, who was here late last night with us in our Thanksgiving service and is back with us this morning, and many others. Lord, we praise You and thank You for Mia-RepntChange, Angela, Mia, Jim, and everybody who is here—over 2,900 folks.
And Holy Father God, save those who are lost, revive those who are saved, and heal those who are sick. Bless these words to our hearts so that we would be encouraged and motivated to pray—not only this morning, not only in the closet, but Lord, throughout the day. And so, Holy Father God, save those who are lost and demonstrate the power of Your Holy Spirit in the hearts and lives of people who are already saved. In Jesus Christ’s name I pray, and for His sake. Amen.
By the way, let me say: We do this service with a special tribute to Daniella (Danni) Whyte, who is the producer of the Prayer Motivator Devotional Minute, and a tribute to my youngest child in the world, Danyelle E. B. Whyte, who is the producer of the Gospel Light Society International — White House Reading of the Bible podcast. Both of these podcasts—one is over 25 years old, one is about 15 years old, I think. It’s accurate.
Genesis 32, verses 9 through 12. Hopefully it will motivate you to pray.
[Reading of Genesis 32:9–12]
“And Jacob said, O God of my father Abraham, and God of my father Isaac, the LORD which saidst unto me, ‘Return unto thy country, and to thy kindred, and I will deal well with thee.’ I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies, and of all the truth, which Thou hast showed unto Thy servant; for with my staff I passed over this Jordan, and now I am become two bands. Deliver me, I pray Thee, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau.”
Yes, sometimes you need to be delivered from your own family—and more so now than probably ever before. Things are not like they used to be. I don’t know of any of my buddies—Ramicee and Deacon Moamp, Sister Bliss—I don’t know of any of my running buddies while I was growing up who ever even thought about killing their mother and killing their father, and certainly not killing their grandmother or grandfather. These demon thoughts are in the minds of many young people today. This is why I’ve told parents of adult children and grandparents: Be wise as a serpent, harmless as a dove, as Jesus told us, because you need to have some discernment today. And you need to pray for discernment and deliverance before you let that wayward teenager or adult child back in your house to—you know—to help them out. I would encourage you not to do that. They need to stay elsewhere, and they can call and they can text and they love you. But in this day and time, you don’t know what kind of demon spirits have entered into their hearts out there on Discord, online, out there on social media. So many young people have been radicalized.
Okay? “Deliver me, I pray Thee, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau; for I fear him, lest he will come and smite me.” “Smite me” means to hit him or to kill him—”and the mother with the children. And Thou saidst, ‘I will surely do thee good, and make thy seed as the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude.’”
That’s one of the historical verses that we’re passing in this series, reading all of the verses on prayer in the Bible. As we have already preached on every passage in the Bible regarding prayer, for the most part—we have a few more to do.
Psalm 121—get your mind around this and remember this. Psalm 121, verses 1 and 2: “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.”
Everybody, please join me in praying the Lord’s Prayer. You say, “Preacher, I learned that in Sunday school.” Well, are you praying the Lord’s Prayer? Are you praying your prayer on the foundation of the Lord’s Prayer? If you don’t know it by heart—if you forgot it—it is in Matthew 6, verses 9–13.
After this manner, therefore, pray ye: “Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.”
My word to all pastors—with so many pastors falling like flies. Sad to say, we had to run another story last night. We don’t search for these stories. We’re not looking for these stories. We do not want to hear these stories. You must understand: if there’s anybody rejoicing over a preacher falling into sin, they are of the devil and hell and the flesh. They’re not even saved. We do not rejoice over preachers falling into sin—no. And the reason why is because all of us who are born again and saved, including preachers, we want to do right by the grace of God, and we want the rest of the team to do right, because when the rest of the team does not do right, then certain parts of the work is crumbling, and that makes other people in the work for the Lord have to work harder. We don’t rejoice in that.
However, as a person owning a news agency, we have to report it as Christians for several reasons. Number one: the secular news—they really would rather for church news folks to handle that. They really would. Now, if you don’t handle it—if the church news folks and Christian news folks don’t handle it—they will handle it. But if they see you dealing with it, they don’t want to deal with that; they don’t have time to deal with that. Number three: we have to make sure that we are never seen as trying to cover for people and back people when they have done evil in God’s sight. First of all, we don’t want to get in trouble with God. Second of all, we don’t want to be seen as hypocrites and phonies and fakes with them. So we have to point it out. It doesn’t matter if it’s us or anybody else. We don’t want to be seen in that light—that we’re trying to cover up for people doing evil in the church and hypocrites and phonies and fakes in the church. We don’t want to be a part of that number.
Mrs. White, bring me some water.
So here’s to the pastors: Once again, this is the verse specifically for you—Acts 6:4. “But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.” Let me repeat that to all pastors: “But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.”
Now, ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, shall we pray? Amen.
Holy Father God, as we pray in preparation of reading Your Holy Word of 1 Corinthians, grant us Your energy and Your grace and Your strength and the power of Your Holy Spirit. Lord, help everybody to pray with me and not just listen to me pray. Have all that we do and say today to be done for Your glory, Your praise, and Your honor, and for the glory, praise, and honor of Your Holy Son, Your Lord Jesus Christ.
Thank You, Holy Father God, for allowing things to be as well as they are. Thank You, Lord, for remembering mercy, love, and grace. And Holy Father God, we pray, Lord, today in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ: Have mercy and grace upon each and every one of us who name the name of Jesus Christ. Please forgive us, Lord, of our sins, our faults, and our failures. Wash and cleanse our souls, our hearts, our minds in the holy and precious blood of Christ, and make us, Lord, to be whiter than snow.
Deliver us, Lord, today from temptation, evil, and sin. Grant us, Lord, Your grace and Your strength and power of Your Holy Spirit to know right, to live right, to think right, to do right, to act right, and to do that which is pleasing in Your sight. And Holy Father God, I pray today that You deliver us from temptation, evil, and sin. Lord, this seems to be a little sad that we have to pray that every day, but we do because we’re prone to sin. We’re prone to evil. And Lord, I pray that You will deliver us today, on this Friday, from temptation, evil, and sin in light of how many pastors and pastors’ wives and families that are being destroyed by sin today and falling flat on their faces.
And Holy Father God, grant us Your grace and Your strength, Your energy, Your unction and Your anointing and the power of Your Holy Spirit to love right, to live right, to think right, to do right, to act right, to forgive right, Lord, throughout this day and throughout our lives. Holy Father God, Thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever.
I pray, Holy Father God, in a real sense: Help all of us to humble ourselves and to pray and to seek Your face and to turn from our wicked ways and to repent of our wicked sins. Help us to give back to You our first love. Reach me—reach every one of us who is saved and born again.
Holy Father God, I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ: It is Friday. I know, Lord, there are many people here who will not even begin to understand how can it be that a woman who has a husband who preaches the gospel every day, sometimes two and three times a day as I did yesterday, could be so satanic, so devilish, and so hateful towards you, so hateful towards Jesus Christ, as this woman has lied on You and has expressed a satanic and proud demonic attitude towards You, lying on You, smirking at You, and saying that she loves being rebellious, proud and stubborn, and disobedient. So Mrs. Marika White of 38 years is a person who is a hypocrite, a phony, and a fake, who does not want to do it because of her pride, and a person who is demon-possessed—legions of demons—who hated her own children and not wanting to tell her own children about me, not wanting to hug her own children for years. She broke their hearts as well, not being the mother of the street. They ended up giving me the Mother’s Day cards and the Father’s Day cards.
I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ on this Friday because this is when the battle gets thick, with Satan trying to stop me, Satan trying to block me. And in light of communion service coming on Sunday, he fights extra hard. I know that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood. Legions of demons have control. Why do not you pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ that You were cast—satanic, demonic spirit of Judas, Jezebel, Sanballat, Tobias—Father, God, mind, soul, and spirit.
And Holy Father God, You led me to help her get signed up for some possible [medical assistance] yesterday, and yet she is still mad as the devil and mean as the devil. So, Lord, I pray that You would cast the demons of hell out. And, Lord, if for some reason that’s not happening, I pray that You will restrain the devil and the demons in heart, mind, soul, and spirit throughout this day and throughout this weekend, and so that, Lord, everything will be peaceful as I serve You here, trying to reach others with the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and even her family.
And so, Holy Father God, cast out the devil and the demons of hell and the satanic, demonic spirit of Judas, Jezebel, Sanballat, and Tobias—heart, mind, her soul, and her spirit. Do the same for others who have a similar issue in their families. And Holy Father God, I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, based upon Your Holy Word that says, “Have faith in God. Ask, and ye shall receive; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” Give us sweet victory today. Powerful victory today, O Lord, over the devil. Help us to walk by faith, not by sight, not by feelings, not by emotions.
And Holy Father God, I do pray for the peace of Jerusalem and pray for the salvation and the protection of the Israelites. I pray for the salvation and the protection of the Palestinians. I pray for the salvation and the protection of all Gentiles. And I pray for the salvation and the protection of all Christians. Bless and protect Christians who have been persecuted in Nigeria—as one person called it in a secular paper today, “the killing of the Jews.” Pray for the Christians in India, Pakistan, and other places as well.
And Lord, I do pray in the name of Lord Jesus Christ: Protect us all as Christians from alarms in the flesh and messages from Satan. Lord, help us to pray when we feel like it and when we don’t. Help us to pray when it is convenient and when it is not.
Lord God in heaven, I do pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ: Thank You for what You allow me to accomplish already this morning. Lord, I pray that You give me the supernatural energy to accomplish this work. I do these two services for Your glory and praise.
And Lord, we pray that You would indeed deliver all of us from all of our distresses and afflictions and tribulations, troubles, trials, temptations, deaths, and ditches. Holy Father God, I pray that You will deliver us from all of our spiritual and mental, physical and emotional, family, financial, legal, student loan debt, student progress problems, troubles, and difficulties that we are facing.
And Holy Father God, some people are wondering: How can there be so much conflict in a preacher’s marriage and family? One of the reasons is because I refuse to submit to her—the devil—and Mrs. White didn’t want me to submit to her. I have never done that, and how long have I never done that? Lord, as You know, I’ve never hopped into her voice about anything. And if she ever submits anything, I automatically go in the opposite direction because I know it comes from the devil. She has never been a help meet. She is a hell meet. And many [men] have to suffer through that. And so I thank You that You can give me sweet victory over the world, because the devil didn’t even lose his wife.
What the world wants me to do, what the devil wants me to do, what church folk want me to do, is compromise with her and let her have her way and submit to her, which I have never done. My dad did that, and it didn’t work, and none of these other preachers who did that in the thousands—and it never really worked. Most preachers today are hand-picked, controlled, and dominated by their wives, and needless to say so. And they have taught other men to be the same: compromised, to lie, so that they can get some [sex] every now and then. No man ought to be in that position.
Holy Father God, I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ: I do pray that You would bless and protect us, all who appear today, everybody who’s saved and born again. On this Friday, in these perilous times, surround all of us with Your protection. Abandon [send] Your holy angels and all of Your holy angels, and cleanse us in the blood of Christ and make us to be whiter than snow on the inside.
And Holy Father God, prepare us for good days and bad days. Prepare us for celebrations and tribulations and tragedies. Prepare us for weddings and funerals. Prepare us for life and death. In Jesus Christ’s name I pray, and for His sake. Lord, bless and anoint the reading of Your Holy Word. And Holy Father God, I thank You that Deacon Roy is still hanging with me, and Brother Ramsey is still hanging with me, and everybody who’s still hanging with me as we do the business of prayer.
Holy Father God, in the closing of this service, at this moment, Lord, we pray as You have commanded us for government leaders. You created government, particularly at this moment where we’re facing war on at least two fronts, possibly four fronts, based upon Your Holy Word in 1 Timothy 2, verses 1 through 6: “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.”
And Holy Father God, we pray now in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ: You will lead God indirect [correctly guide]. All people are involved directly or indirectly in the global conflict and warmongering that’s going on today. We pray for genuine peace, lasting peace. We pray for all active wars and war zones and those that are being created. We pray for an end to the violence. And we pray for diplomatic solutions in regions such as Sudan, Ukraine, Israel, Russia, Gaza, the Congo. We pray for the leaders in power. We pray for the U.S. president, the president of Great Britain, and all government leaders in every country of the world.
We pray that You will give them wisdom as we face World War III in a real sense. Give them knowledge and understanding and insight and integrity to tell the truth about the sins that they have committed. As, Lord, You’re leading me to call on President Trump to sit before Congress and to answer questions about his behavior as it relates to underage children and pedophilia. He needs to answer like everybody else.
And so, Lord, we pray for integrity and hearts inclined toward peace among world leaders, and that they would make decisions that protect the innocent. And Holy Father God, we pray for the persecuted church. We pray for Christians facing persecution, especially in nations within the 10/40 Window, asking for endurance, strength, safety, and access to Bibles. We pray that, Lord, You would meet the needs of millions of people who are refugees and displaced. We pray, Lord, for those fleeing from violence: for safety in their journey and for compassion from host nations.
Lord, we pray for global hunger and poverty. We pray for areas suffering from drought, famine, and economic hardship, especially and specifically for access to nutritious meals and resources for families. We pray, Holy Father God, for the victims of earthquakes, hurricanes, wildfires, and people in need of emergency aid and long-term recovery. And we pray, Lord, for the homeless, the vulnerable who don’t have a place to stay. Pray for those who are out in the cold, unhoused, and weak, and sick.
And Holy Father God, I pray for the spiritual and social transformation that is needed in the hearts and lives and minds of all people. We pray for unity where there can be unity and healing. We pray for communities divided by sin and racism, hatred and violence to find unity and reconciliation. We pray for the church’s mission to preach the gospel to every creature, that it will go well and smoothly, decently and in order around the world. We pray, Lord, that the church will be a source of hope in a hopeless world, sharing the message of the gospel and helping those in need.
And so, Holy Father God, we pray for truth and discernment for everybody to understand what is happening in this AI world. We pray, Lord, for personal focus and help for certain people. Lord, You know who they are—the grieving. We pray for those who have lost loved ones in conflicts or disasters. We pray for all police force officers, sheriffs, deputies, and sheriffs, marshals, and all law enforcement. We pray for all emergency workers, firefighters around the world—for when we need them, we really need them, and they come through. We pray, Holy Father God, for safety and strength for those aiding in crisis zones. We pray that hearts would be turned back to You. We pray for Your Holy Ghost to be poured out across the world, and the power of Your Holy Ghost would fall, bringing revival and comfort.
Now, Lord, I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, finally, over the Gospel Lighthouse [Society International] prayer lists. I pray, Holy Father God, for salvation and spiritual, family and life, financial and material, protection and provision, Lord, upon all of my children who played a big part in this church: [names listed]… and so many more.
We pray for salvation and spiritual, family and life, financial and material, protection and provision, mental and physical blessings upon [additional names listed]… And Holy Father God, I pray You would save and bless these people. In Jesus Christ’s name, I pray for His sake. Amen. Glory be to God.
Dear friends, if you do not know Jesus Christ and the free pardon of your sins—praise the Lord for Sister Gypsy Heart being here again this morning, helping us reach more people with the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you, Sister Gypsy Heart, and God bless you.
As I was saying, for those of you who are with us today and you do not know Jesus Christ and the free pardon of your sins, and you need to believe in Jesus Christ—but you need to acknowledge your sins first. Well, the Bible says we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Number two: everybody’s going to die. And the reason why we’re going to die is because of our sins not taken care of, not under the blood of Jesus Christ. Number three: you’re going to go to that awful place called hell if you do not believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior. It’s not a joke. It’s for real. So believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Pray and ask Him to save your soul, and He will, and He can never be taken away.
Follow me in the sinner’s prayer:
“Holy Father God, have mercy and grace upon my soul. Lord Jesus Christ, please come into my heart and into my spirit and save my soul from the burning hell. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to change. Help me to repent of my sin. Help me to follow You in the newness of life. In Jesus Christ’s name I pray, and for His sake. Amen.”
Dear friends, if you prayed that prayer and if you believed in your heart in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, according to the Word of God, the Holy Bible, you are now saved. You are now born again. I know that may be hard for some people to get around their heads, but it is as simple as that. We cannot save ourselves. There’s nothing that we can do. But we can believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, as He said in John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
God bless you, dear friends. Until next time, I’ll be back a little bit later to read the Word of God. But let me say this to you: For those of you who truly believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, do these five things to grow into a successful disciple of Christ:
- Get baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Get with a Bible-believing church—small church—ask them to baptize you, and they will do it.
- Pray every day.
- Read the Bible every day.
- Obey the Bible every day. For Jesus Christ said, “If you love me, keep my commandments.”
- Witness for the Lord every day.
God bless you, dear friends. Until next time, pray for me as I pray for thee. Remember the motto of the Marines: Semper Fidelis. Remember the motto of the Space Force and the Air Force: Semper Super, always in love. Keep your heart and mind stayed on the Lord, and He’ll keep you in perfect peace. God loves you, Jesus Christ loves you, and I love you as well. Lord willing, you’ll see me back live in a few minutes reading 1 Corinthians 4, 5, and 6. May God bless you. Until we meet again.
Ladies and gentlemen, I’m going to have to take a break, and so I’m going to shut down all cameras. Pray for me as I pray for you. Thank you all for your gifts to the Lord’s work. But as someone said, I’m only human after all. So God bless you. May God keep you. Lord willing, I hope to be back here within the next half hour to read three chapters of the Word of God. If the Lord leads you to come back, please come back. God bless you, dear friends. Until next time. Come on, you gotta run it.

Daniel Whyte III is the president of the over-40-year-old Gospel Light Evangelistic Society International and the over-37-year-old Gospel Light House of Prayer International. He is known worldwide as the prophet who predicted the Coronavirus Plague over 10 years before it hit in recorded preaching and writing. God also led him to guide thousands through the Coronavirus Plague that killed over 20 million people because of the sins in the Judas-Laodicean church.
Daniel Whyte III’s greatest blessing in this life is his “quiver full” of 10 children—Daniella (Danni), Daniel IV, Danita Evangeline, Danae Mary-Louise, Daniqua Grace, Danyel Ezekiel, Danyelle Elizabeth Breedlove, Danielle Tekeela, Duran-Daniel, and the first Daniel IV (deceased and in heaven with the Lord)—along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Daniel Whyte III has been unblissfully but sexually satisfyingly married to his first and only wife, Meriqua Whyte of Christiana, Jamaica, for over 37 years since December 19, 1987. Jesus Christ said: “And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.” Even though many evangelicals, charismatics, and Protestants try to act as if these words of Jesus Christ are not a reality in our modern Christianity—primarily because of the Satanic-driven prosperity gospel and an over-positive philosophy, which is a lie not based in reality or biblical truth—the words of Jesus Christ are true for every person who preaches the Gospel. The outcomes of the Gospel are a changed life and opposition from family, lukewarm Christians, Laodicean-Judas pastors and churches, the world, and the devil. This is a reality in our present evil world.
While Daniel Whyte III thoroughly enjoys his married life because he did not allow his wife to have her way at any point and was and is solidly and biblically the head of his household throughout the marriage—often quoting Joshua, “As for me and my house, we’re going to serve the Lord” “up in here!”—and because his wife never failed in the very important area of sex, which he got married for in the first place to avoid sinning against God, he has especially enjoyed the privilege and joy of raising his children in the Lord virtually by himself. He served the Lord with them every day of their lives, from the time they were born until they graduated from college, became adults, and moved on.
However, his wife, Meriqua Whyte—motivated by Satan, with a Pharaoh-style pride mixed with the well-known female Jamaican-style pride, stubbornness, rebelliousness, and witchcraft—has been his greatest Judas enemy in the world and has been what Paul spoke of: a “messenger of Satan” and a “thorn in the flesh.” Amazingly, and by the grace of God, that Satanic evil opposition has spurred Daniel Whyte III on to preach the Gospel probably more times than any man on record. God has honored him because he did not “hearken to the voice of his wife.” Whyte tells other Christian men to only hearken to the voice of God and Jesus Christ—not to their wives, as so many thousands of church men have been taught by pastors and other older men throughout the years. Remember, we are in this worldwide, multi-generational mess because Adam hearkened to the voice of his wife and not to the voice of God.
Before they were married, Daniel Whyte III told his wife Meriqua Whyte that they would not do family life as her parents did, because their married life was hellacious and ended in divorce, as did some of her other family members, including the aunt she was living with. He also told his wife they would not do family life as his parents did, because it was also hellacious and out of order since his mother was the head of the household, not his father. But thanks be to God, they never got a divorce. Whyte told his wife before they got married that they were going to do it God’s way according to Ephesians chapters 5 and 6, or no way at all. And then he asked his wife, “Are you willing to do marriage God’s way according to Ephesians chapters 5 and 6?” And she said yes. Whyte told her before they got married that if she did not live up to her end of the deal, all bets were off.
Because Daniel Whyte III’s wife, Meriqua Whyte, was so proud, unsubmissive, stubborn, and rebellious after they got married, God led him to read Ephesians chapters 5 and 6 every day in their family devotions throughout their marriage. In the first year of their marriage, Daniel Whyte III also gave his wife a list of verses for women from the Word of God for her to read, which she still reads to this day. He also bought her many books to read to help her be the wife God wanted her to be.
Whyte realized early in the marriage that his wife was not a born-again, saved person even though she lied and said she was before they got married. After over 37 years of marriage, she is still not saved, never bearing any fruit of a saved person, to the point of not even wanting to tell her children, “I love you” and not wanting to hug them when they were little children, even after her husband told her to do so. She also hated the daily family devotions that her husband led and tried to hinder them. She also demonically hated and tried to hinder every Gospel preaching service to this very day.
However, only by the grace of God, they are still married, and despite the devil constantly working through his wife to try to hinder him from preaching the Word of God, he is still preaching the Gospel and the Word of God live and on-demand. His ministry reaches over 148,800 people per month with over 21,000 unique views per month, reaching 149 countries, preaching the Gospel and the Word of God in 2 to 3 services a day, 7 days a week. Glory be to God!
Mrs. Meriqua Whyte’s Apology to her Husband and Their 7 Children for not Being a Biblical Wife or Mother
Mrs. Meriqua Whyte, the Wife of Daniel Whyte III, Gave him the Best Father’s Day Gift Ever About 10 Years Ago When She Unexpectedly and Voluntarily Apologized for the First Time to Him and Their 7 Children for Not Being the Wife, Mother, and Christian Example of the Woman She Should Have Been Over the Past 37 Years of Marriage
Here is what Mrs. Meriqua Whyte wrote ten years ago after verbally apologizing to the entire family on Father’s Day, right before church service:
Over thirty years of marriage. Over thirty years of ups and downs. Over thirty years of trying to make our problems a personal thing between my husband and me. Thankfully, he did not allow me to do that and kept telling me it was between God and me—over thirty years of acting on my feelings and not on what the Bible says. Over thirty years of refusing to obey God’s simple command to a wife—to be obedient to your husband in all things. Over thirty years of disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, lying, and dishonesty, all rooted in pride. Over thirty years of simply not choosing to mature as a Christian.
God has been dealing with me for over thirty years now about changing my attitude and behavior as a wife, which has manifested itself in disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, lying, dishonesty, having an ungodly attitude and spirit, and simply not being the wife, mother, or example of a Christian woman that I should have been throughout the years. (By the way, for those of you who may be thinking that my disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, lying, and dishonesty have resulted in adultery, I will say here that I have never committed any adultery or had sex with another man besides my husband, Daniel Whyte III, since I was born.)
God kept telling me I needed to stop my rebellious and stubborn behavior, apologize to my husband and children, and get my heart right with him, my husband, and my children. He sent others my way to tell me how to behave:
- My husband, but I didn’t want to hear it from him
- Other Christian women speakers
- Other preachers
- Books and other materials, but I would not take heed
I knew what to do, but I chose not to do it. The devil had me thinking and believing—as he is having a lot of wives and mothers think and believe—that your relationship with your husband and how you respond to him, whether positive or negative, will not affect your relationship with your children or your relationship with God. I say without hesitation that this is one of the devil’s lies, and sad to say, many wives and mothers are falling for this lie.
Another lie of the devil that Christian wives are falling for is that you can still have a strong relationship with God without being submissive to your husband. Lie! Lie! Lie! There is no truth to this. I know because I have experienced this and am still experiencing this as I am going through this breaking process, which is not happening overnight.
Even throughout my years of rebelliousness, stubbornness, and pride, I still kept praying the prayer I used to pray daily before I got married: “Lord, make me be exactly what You want me to be. Lord, break, make, and mold me into what you want me to be.” Well, God took that prayer seriously, and once you accept Him, He will begin the breaking process. It’s up to us how long that breaking process will take. For me, sad to say, it has taken over 30 years, and the breaking is not complete. In what way is God breaking me down right now? Well, our children have grown up. The three oldest have gone through and are still going through college, have gotten their degrees, and some are working on their second, third, and fourth degrees, launching their careers and moving out. God slapped me into reality and truly intensified the breaking process. My husband told me before our first child was born and repeatedly while the children were young that my job was to love our children and make positive memories with them and that if I did that, I would have a wonderful relationship with them as adults in the time to come. Well, I disobeyed God and my husband, who did not let up on his duties. And he has a wonderful relationship with our children, even the girls, and I don’t. However, God led me to finally break the day before Father’s Day, and while I was helping my husband get dressed to preach, I asked him if I could apologize to him and the entire family. That’s the first time I ever did that on my own. Throughout the years, he has always told me that I needed to get my heart right with God, him, and my children; otherwise, I would never have the joy and peace of the Lord in my life. However, I kept on lying and denying that I was the problem.
Here is what I said to my husband and children on Saturday afternoon, June 17, 2017, the day before Father’s Day. My husband told the entire family that this was the best Father’s Day gift I have ever given to him:
“Daddy, children, I apologize for not being the wife, mother, and example of a Christian woman I should have been throughout the years. I have shown nothing but pride, disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, and a bad attitude and spirit toward God and my husband in front of you. My disobedience and rebelliousness have caused much unnecessary unrest and upheaval in the family. As my husband told me, things could have gone much better if I had obeyed God’s word from the beginning. Please accept my apology, and I am asking you to forgive me.”
The diminishing of peace and joy in my life throughout the years I brought on myself. Not having a proper relationship with God, my husband, and my children, I brought on myself—all because I chose the disobedient route. My number one desire is to live a life of peace—peace with God, my husband, and my children. I have learned that peace will not come as long as I live in disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, and pride.
I will end this with two notes: (1) Happy Father’s Day to my husband: you have been a great husband and father. (2) Happy Children’s Day to my children: You all have been great children. I have no complaints whatsoever against my husband and, of course, children; you have never been at fault. My bad behavior is all on me, and I’m sorry I put you through this. May God bless your lives, and I love you.
Ephesians 5:22 – 6:20 (KJV)
Below is the passage in the Bible that Daniel Whyte III read in their family devotions every day for decades. It covers the biblical duties of the husband, the wife, and the children, and includes how to fight against the devil who is seeking to destroy the family.
22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
6 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
2 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;
3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;
6 Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;
7 With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:
8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.
9 And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
The Gospel in a Nutshell
If you were to die today, where would you go: Heaven or Hell? If you’re not sure, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.”
Jesus Christ said the most important words ever spoken in the history of the world when He said, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

The Most Important Question in the World: Have You Been Twice Born?
This is the “Chief of sinners,” Daniel Whyte III, president of Gospel Light Society International, with the Gospel Light Minute X Podcast #447, titled, “The Big Question.” I’m here to remind you of what the Bible says: that “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” like you and me.
“Have You Been Born Again?”
The question is not, “Have you joined a church?” or “Are you trying to do your best?” or “Do you have religion?” but, “Are you twice-born?” Jesus Christ said in John 3:3, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
We enter the physical world by birth. Spiritual life, likewise, is entered with a birth. We become members of a human family by birth; we become members of the family of God by birth, by being “born again.” There is no other way to get into the human family except by birth, and there is no other way to get into God’s family except by the new birth. Neither education, nor cultivation, nor reformation, nor “turning over a new leaf,” will accomplish this. What is needed is not a new “leaf” but a new “life”! “Ye must be born again” (John 3:7).
A New Nature Needed
By physical birth, we become partakers of human nature; by being born again, we become “partakers of the divine nature.” A Christian is the product of a divine “begetting.” The second birth is not an improvement of the old nature; it is the imparting of an entirely new nature. The old nature is hopelessly corrupt and incapable of ever being made fit for His presence. The new birth requires a creative act of the Holy Spirit. “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.”
Not “Trying” But “Trusting”
“Trying to follow Christ” is not Christianity. Christianity is not imitation of Christ; it is the indwelling of Christ. Christianity is not trying to do anything. It is trusting Christ, who has done it all! He has “finished the work,” and there is nothing left to do but simply to receive and trust Him. He shed His precious blood on the cross, and the work is all done once and forever! Cease trying and begin trusting! Believers will progressively become more and more like Christ, but by His power, not their own.
What Must I Do To Be Saved?
Simply “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.” The Bible says in 1 John 5:1, “Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God.” The Bible states in John 1:12-13, “As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”
You are born again, you become a Christian by trusting a Person—receiving a Person. The very moment you do this, the Lord Jesus Christ comes in and life begins!
What Is Meant By “Believe”?
To “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ” means more than simply believing the historic facts concerning Him. Intellectual belief about Christ is not sufficient. The belief that brings salvation must be “with the heart,” that is, with the whole being. This belief also includes repentance: “Repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.” The Bible states in Acts 17:30, “God… now commandeth all men everywhere to repent.”
The faith which saves, then, includes the necessity to repent and to receive Christ as Savior and Lord, to rest upon Him alone for salvation. It means to trust Him so utterly and completely that, if He should fail, there would be no hope at all!
May I Know That I Am Born Again?
This is an important question. We know that we are born again by the testimony of God’s Word. God says in John 5:24, “He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” Have you believed on the Lord Jesus Christ as explained by God’s Word? If so, then you are saved, you are “born again,” you have “passed from death unto life.” God says so! Take God at His Word, and go on your way rejoicing!
One Final Word
You may “belong to a church,” you may be “trying to do the best you can,” you may be “striving to live right.” Your outward life may be the model of moral correctness, and you may be looked up to, honored, revered, and respected. Yet, if you have not been “born again,” you are just as lost as if you had never heard of Christ. Yes, you may teach in the Sunday school, read the Bible, sing, shout, “feel happy,” and all the rest—but if you have never been “born again,” you are still in your sins and a stranger to the Lord Jesus Christ.
If you want to be saved from the wrath to come and from an eternity in Hell, and if you believe that Jesus Christ suffered, bled, and died on the cross for your sins, was buried, and rose again from the dead, and you are willing to trust Jesus Christ with all of your heart so you can go to Heaven, please pray with me what is called the sinner’s prayer:
Holy Father God, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I admit that I have sinned against You and that I have broken Your Ten Commandments. I have lied before. I have stolen things before. I have lusted after people and things before. I have dishonored and disobeyed my parents. I have taken Your holy Name in vain. For Jesus Christ’s sake, please have mercy and grace upon my soul and forgive me of all of my sins, my failures, and my faults. As I now believe in Your Holy Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe that He suffered, bled, and died on the cross for my sins, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to repent of my sins past. Help me to turn from my old, evil life and follow You in the new life. For it is in Your Name I pray. Amen.
