Raw Sermon Transcript: Why Do Great Pastors Have Evil Sons? (Part 7) With Daniel Whyte III

This early afternoon, over 1,100 are with us according to their stats—Dennis, Tiffany White. God bless you. Ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, family, friends, and foes—and yes, even foes in the family, foes in the church, in the evangelical church and in the progressive church, the woke church, foes in the world, foes in even AI, foes in the woke community—it is all good.

The Lord just gave me this thought: I have no fear of death, even though my life has been threatened. I have no fear of death. I do not care about my life like that. Let me tell you why. Ladies and gentlemen, my experience has been so wonderful as far as knowing God since December 19, 1979, and knowing Jesus Christ as my Savior. Death does not frighten me at all because I know everything is going to be all right, and that God will be there, superintending over my death even if no one else is there. Evidently, there are some people—even in my family on my wife’s side—who would love to see me disappear and be dead and gone so they can steal my Social Security.

I do not count my life dear to myself. Based upon the Word of God and based upon my relationship with God, I’m not a good fellow, but I have a great Savior, and He did it all. So I have peace in life, and I have peace in death. I don’t fear death, and I don’t fear—this is a double negative, so just accept it—I don’t fear no man or no woman.

I’ve never, like most pastors, feared my wife. I’ve never feared my wife. I only fear God; therefore, I have never hearkened to the voice of my wife. Before I preach this message, I want to say something else that God has laid upon my heart. It’s time for pastors to stop lying about their lives, lying about their wives and how evil many of them are, and lying about their children—when in truth, they’re the Addams Family at home and the Monsters Family at home, and then they are the Brady Bunch at church and when they are around other Christian people for the most part. Thank God for the remnant. I’m not talking about the remnant.

In light of that, and in light of the tragic fall of one of Independent Baptists’ most popular preachers—Mr. Baldwin, not Lou Baldwin, but Kenny Baldwin—in light of that, Dr. Lou Baldwin, the leading pastor of the Independent Baptist movement in the Black community, has lost two sons to gross sins and gross crimes. Ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus—pardon me—I’m preaching to you in your hearing now, hopefully, the final message in this series. This is message number seven, titled “Why Do Great Pastors Have Evil Sons?”

I personally know Dr. Lou Baldwin, and I know his manner of life. He is a great man and a good man. Did he love his children? Maybe too much, probably. But he loved his children, and he did something that most pastors don’t do: he raised them and set them up to be in ministry with him and was confident enough to pass on the ministry to his sons. Is he perfect? No. Are you perfect? Nobody’s perfect here, people, no matter what we think of them. Yes, I thought very highly of Dr. Lou Baldwin throughout the years, and I still do.

I don’t believe he has anything to do with this. Did he maybe know some things that maybe he rebuked his sons about? Probably, because I do believe that a father can detect whether or not his son has got some sugar in his tank and may be perverted in some way. And if he did know that, he should have never put him in the ministry. I will say that I thought it was too—let me put it this way: I felt when he made that decision to put his son, who was a prodigy—there’s no doubt about it—as the pastor of the church, I think he was too young and no doubt a novice. But you have to respect a man’s choice to call up one of his children. We would expect him to know more about his child than anybody else. You’ll be hearing a little bit about this here shortly as well.

I’m thinking, and I believe now as I look back, as many of you know, God led me to predict that God was going to chastise the church and put a whipping on America because of the fact that the evangelical church and even, yes, the Black church—only because they were duped into believing they had a Black president—they colluded together, the church and the government, to sanction the abomination of homosexuality, sodomy, and homosexual sodomite marriage together, which has reaped hellaciousness in this country. That judgment came and failed 10 years over. I had been warning for over 10 years in BCNN1 and in my preaching before it hit—the coronavirus plague, which killed millions, yea, even thousands of preachers.

When I got the news that Kenny Baldwin—a young man at the time, very young—was stricken with the coronavirus plague, I got the news from Dr. Andrew Hamilton. It was strange. It was weird to hear that at the time. Now, older preachers, yes, they were dying left and right. Mr. T.D. Jakes, with tears in his eyes, said so many of his preacher friends were dying, and their wives. It shook them up. It shook him up. They were calling him left and right to do funerals and everything else. Thousands of priests and preachers, pastors, pastors’ wives died all over the world because they were giving communion while living foul, wicked, evil lives, promoting homosexuality, sanctioning homosexuality and homosexual marriage across the country and around the globe in the West. That’s why we’re in the mess today.

By the way, let me just say this: I’ve warned President Trump multiple times that he was going to catch hell by hiring, in probably the second most important position in the world, a homosexual man married to a man—Vincent, Secretary of the Treasury—with children that don’t belong to them. I warned the president, and he’s catching hell because he will not get rid of that man who has ruined this country, who has ruined the treasury. The whole country is in a mess. The problem is, the reason why God has to send a prophet to tell the president and kings and the West about their ways and to warn them is because they can’t see it. I’m not mad at them. They’re blinded to that. They really think that a rich homosexual man married to a man can help their government and help them get elected and help them do what needs to be done to be successful. That’s just not going to work in God’s economy. It didn’t work in Sodom and Gomorrah. Now the whole world, the whole West, is Sodom and Gomorrah. That’s why today, much of the world is on fire—like Sodom and Gomorrah—because God does not play. Great America is stuck in the waterways of Homoosh and can’t get out.

So good to see Deacon Moab, as always. So why do great pastors have evil sons? I’m trying to wrap this sermon series up today at number seven, so bear with me as I will read the Holy Scriptures and touch on the points that we’ve already done and then wrap it up with the third point by the grace of God. Why do great pastors have evil sons?

That’s right. Deacon… Mr. Kenny Baldwin is evil. That’s all there is to it. You say, “Well, didn’t you have a connection with the Independent Baptist years ago?” Yes, I did. I got saved through an Independent Baptist Church. I thank God I got saved, and I thank God I was discipled well. It was the foundation of my Christian faith. But I have been in connection with multiple denominations in multiple ways since then, and I’ve seen it all. All of the groups have been good to me, so I don’t have an axe to grind. I’m not mad at nobody—excuse the double negative—I ain’t mad at anybody.

I thank God for touching people’s hearts to stand with me and to support me across the nation in multiple denominations down through the years—in the Evangelical Movement, Independent Baptist Movement, Southern Baptist Movement. I am a Baptist. All our quarters have been good to me in supporting me and trying to help me in the ministry. Even some charismatic people respect what I have done over the past 46 years and see me as a true prophet and a man of God. I’m not mad at anybody. I don’t have any enemies from my side. I do have some enemies based upon what I’ve told you because they’re mad at me—the white evangelicals, the Black evangelicals, the white progressives, the Black progressives. They’re mad at me because I did not go along with their damnable foolishness of sanctioning the abomination of homosexuality and homosexual marriage. There are thousands of people mad at me about that. I have family members who are mad at me about that. But they’re also mad at Dwight McKissick. They’re also mad because their wives are mad because I have preached the truth about the home. Independent Baptists are mad at me about it. Southern Baptists. National Baptists. They don’t want to hear it because the home is jacked up. All of these denominations and all of these groups have failed because the home is jacked up.

All of them, especially the Independent Baptists, thought that because they got soul-winning down pat, passing out gospel pamphlets down pat, they thought that by preaching on modest dress in the church and having the women wear dresses—modest dresses in the church, which is important—these are important things. The Word of God talks about it. They thought they had it down pat, with emphasis on the local church and everything else. All of these things are good. Nine out of ten things in God’s economy is not good enough. I mean, the old saints in the Black church used to sing, “99 and a half won’t do.” It certainly won’t do for salvation. But in God’s economy, what Jesus expects is complete obedience. The Independent Baptist movement thought that they could have a shaky family life and then still do all the other things right and thought they’re going to be blessed by God. But in God’s economy, God does not play that. Jesus Christ does not play that.

You want to be a hypocrite in the home. Lie about how great your wife is when she’s a devil, a Judas, and a Jezebel. Lie about your own life, talking about how you’re addicted to pornography. That’s your little side thing that you do. That’s your hobby now—when you used to play golf, now you sit around and look at strangers who are all plastic having sex online. You think that’s just a little sin. You’re committing adultery. You got a girlfriend on the side. You have a side piece. Yes, I’m talking about the Independent Baptist Church. You’re masturbating, looking at pornography because your marriage is falling apart, divorced and remarried, and you know what the Bible says, you still do it anyway. No regard for the Bible. No regard for the Bible. Letting your children act like the devil at home. And on and on. Oh yeah, we had it down pat on separation. We were so big on separation from what we considered the liberal denominations like the Southern Baptists and the Methodists that we started separating from one another in the Independent Baptist Movement. All of that breeds all of what we see today.

I said last night in an article that Kenny Baldwin was on his way to being the most influential Black preacher in Independent Baptist history. But that is all shot to hell now, and I’m glad it is. I’m glad that the white and Black preachers—I mean, I hate to say it, but especially white, but I’m not hearing too much from the Black Independent Baptists. I believe it’s because they don’t want anybody to shine the light on them. But here at Gospel Light Society International, we have shined the light on evil in every denomination in the world. At blackchristiannews.com, we have shined the light on evil in every denomination in the world. We don’t care whether you’re white or black, Black or white—not at all. It doesn’t make any difference. All that garbage has to cease.

If your family is jacked up, get out of the ministry. Stop lying, calling your wife “honey bunch” when she’s a witch and you are a warlock, and calling your little children “angels” when they’re devils. Just get out of the ministry. Stop lying. Stop all this fake and phony garbage just to keep the money coming in at the church. I know I’m right about it. I don’t need an amen.

Independent Baptists are known to say “amen” in church—don’t let the shout die out and all of that—but we want to live how we want to live at home, thinking that God is only concerned about what you do at church. That’s the hypocrisy and the foolishness that I have preached against for 46 years. Black churches in the Independent Baptists, white churches among the Independent Baptists and other Southern Baptists and National Baptists, they have hated me more, led by the pastor’s wives and the other Jezebels. The charismatic church as well—my mother and them, charismatic—they hate my guts because I preach against women not only running the church; they are not to run the home either. That’s where it starts—all that pillow talk at the house. I have been persecuted by all of these groups. They hate my guts, and they have tried to stop me in multiple ways.

Therefore, I have been preaching, crying from the wilderness. I didn’t say crying in the wilderness. I said crying from the wilderness, exiled on the Isle of Patmos, and proclaiming the gospel by any means necessary—with their support and without their support. They used to support me. Now they don’t—none of these groups, my family included. I thank God for my children who have helped me. I have not bought into that.

1 Samuel 2:12 and 1 Samuel 8:1–3: “Now the sons of Eli were sons of Belial”—sons of the devil. That’s what they are. If you have a child that you know is a son of the devil, you need to say so. Let it be known. If you have a wife of the devil, a wife of Belial, preacher, tell the truth and shame the devil. If you are a preacher of Belial, tell the truth on yourself. “They knew not the Lord” (1 Samuel 2:12). You say, “Well, preacher, do you believe Kenny Baldwin is born again saved?” I don’t know if he’s born again saved or not. I know he has a devil to do what he did. Coming from where we come from, that’s unheard of.

You say, “Well, preacher, you sound like you’re a little bit harder on Kenny Baldwin than other preachers from other denominations.” It may seem that way because I should be, because I know where Kenny Baldwin came from. I know his dad. I don’t believe Dr. Louis Baldwin ever thought of anything like that in his natural born life. Period. He’s just as shocked as everybody else. God bless your sister Gypsy Heart. Thank you for being here today, and thank you for your gifts to God and Jesus Christ, Dr. Moamp. God bless you, and thank you for your gifts to God and Jesus Christ as well.

Y’all hang in there with me as long as you can, because ain’t no telling. I’m trying to finish a seven-message series. “And it came to pass when Samuel was old, that he made his sons judges over Israel. Now the name of his firstborn was Joel, and the name of his second Abiah, and they were judges in Bathsheba, and his sons walked not in his ways, but turned aside after lucre”—the New Testament called it filthy lucre, money. What has ruined most pastors today is the almighty dollar—money. Most pastors have been destroyed like Judas because they wanted money more than serving God and pleasing God. That’s a fact. If you people out there, I wouldn’t give a preacher a $1,000 offering or seed offering or anything. You only give to your local church where you get fed by a Bible-believing pastor that you know his life. Other than that, don’t give a dime anywhere.

There’s a preacher in jail today who walked around talking about—his message was, “I’ll never be broken; you should never be broke”—prosperity gospel foolishness. Most pastors have been destroyed by the love of money, the love of a side piece, and now we have an increasing number of pornography-watching preachers trying to rape children. Some of you are not saying anything about it. That says a lot about you. No, it’s not a situation where “any, but for the grace of God, there go I”—no, sir, no ma’am. Nobody should be saying any foolishness like that. Maybe “but for the grace of God, there go I” after a fat, fine, grown woman—maybe that. But you can’t go around saying nobody can say “but for the grace of God, there go I” after a little child and sending him penis pictures. What in the world are you people talking about? No, no, it ain’t like that at all, period. Zippo.

“They took bribes”—most pastors today, I would say over 50% of the pastors today have taken bribes when it’s politics time. Some preachers love politics more than they love Jesus. They feel more important by getting involved in politics. Some of the most insecure people in the world are pastors. I’m not telling you what I think; I’m telling you what I know. They want to be accepted by the powerful. They want to be loved by the president. They sell their souls for a million-dollar fellowship hall paid for by perverts like Peter Thiel—a man married to a man with children too. They run in packs. Money can be cleaned up—laundering money through the church? Filthy lucre. They took bribes and perverted judgment.

You say, “Preacher, I don’t like this kind of preaching. I want you to preach a happy message and shout us out of here.” Well, you got the wrong preacher because God didn’t call me to do that. I thank God for the online church because you can come in when you want to and you can leave when you want. Nobody knows anything. We’ll be praying for you. “And their judgment was perverted,” the Bible says.

By way of review, there is a question that has haunted the people of God from the days of the tabernacle at Shiloh until this very hour. It is whispered in church hallways, whispered on school buses, whispered in social meetings, wept over at the pastor’s kitchen table, and pondered in the secret chambers of every faithful pastor’s heart and home. The question is this: Why do great pastors have evil sons? Dr. Baldwin, Dr. Lou Baldwin, is a good man, but he has two evil sons, and they made themselves evil. One is in their 50s. That’s a grown man. The father really cannot—when you get into your 40s and 50s, you are a grown man. I would say something else, but I have to hold back.

Why do great pastors have evil sons? Why do men who have led thousands to the throne of grace in prayer oftentimes fail to lead their boys at their own supper table to God, where their hearts are converted permanently? Why does the fire that falls on the pulpit so often fail to fall on the parsonage, the pastor’s house? I can speak to the satanic attack against a true God-called pastor. This is not a modern question. Before there was ever a church house in America, this tragedy was already written in the Word of God—not once, but twice, back to back in the same book, in the same generation.

Eli was the high priest of Israel, the man who wore the ephod and stood before the mercy seat. Samuel was the greatest judge and prophet of his era, a man of whom the scripture says the Lord did let none of his words fall to the ground. There you go, so-called prophet. I call you a false prophet, Brian Cohen. All of your prophecies have fallen to the ground. You must understand, if you’re truly called to be a prophet, God is the one who holds up your prophecies, not you (1 Samuel 3:19). Two great men of God, two houses of God’s servants, and four ruined sons—Hophni and Phinehas, Joel (or Joel, however you want to pronounce it) and Abiah—all of whom perished or disappeared into disgrace, Mrs. White, and whose sins shook a whole nation.

Please notice something remarkable. Samuel grew up watching Eli’s sons destroy themselves. He was right there. As a boy in the tabernacle, little Samuel heard the whispers about Hophni and Phinehas. He was the very one who delivered God’s message of judgment against Eli’s house. Yet decades later, Samuel’s own sons walked the same broad road to ruin. This is why I say Dr. Lou Baldwin has nothing to do—as far as I am concerned—with the gross sins and crimes of his son Michael Baldwin and his son Kenny Baldwin.

Here’s what some Independent Baptists are saying connected with the Baldwins right now—not Lou Baldwin, but some of the other preacher boys: “Why is he dwelling on this? Why is he preaching these sermons regarding this?” Because, number one, no preacher—I’m letting you know, Independent Baptist—no preacher who has sent his penis pictures anywhere should be in the pulpit ever. Again, no pulpit, nowhere, unless it is in hell. Some of you all are trying to figure out how that you can get this golden boy back in the pulpit. I’m here to tell you, there’s no way in hell you can do that. I’m talking to—what’s your name again? I forget your name. Cabo, Mrs. White, what is it? Cobra. Cobra—that’s too close to Cobra. I mean, that’s too close to the snake. Cobra is a good name when you spell it out. I’m talking to all of you preachers. Every last one of you should condemn what Kenny Baldwin did. You need to publicly do it. Shame on you, and on any of you—not any of you, all of you—if you don’t say something about it publicly. You need to condemn this evil garbage that has been done, and you are not to ever sneakily or secretly invite him to your church to preach over your children ever again. I don’t care how gifted somebody may be. Someone said last night—he was very discerning too—we really need to make a division between the gifts of God and the callings of God and talents.

Samuel’s own sons walked the same broad road to ruin. The man who saw the wickedness up close was not immune to it himself and his own family. He was a good man. Samuel was the real deal and served during a time of great transition. That ought to sober every one of us. No pulpit, no title, no anointing, no degree, and no godly heritage exempts a man’s household from the assaults of sin and Satan. Fathers are there to nip it in the bud, so to speak. Joseph, Hunter, Teresa, Gypsy Hart, Deacon Moab. The words of Bishop Daniel White Jr., my father, are tight, but are right.

I know this is not going to be popular. I know people don’t want to hear this. I know people want to believe the best about people and all of that and so forth and so on. This has been the problem in the Evangelical Church, the Independent Baptist Church, the Southern Baptist Church, and all other denominations. We think we are more loving than God. We think that we have more grace than God, and we don’t. God has the same loving grace for all of us. We don’t have more than He has. We cannot let people like this think they can come back into the pulpit. Acoba, preachers—every last one of you. If you knew about him having these tendencies, I don’t care who you are—from Dr. Lou Baldwin on down to Pastor Simmons and other pastors out in Arkansas, you know who you are—you need to say something publicly. You need to tell somebody the truth.

Ladies and gentlemen, quickly, I want to review two answers and then wrap this up with the third answer from the Word of God to this age-old question: “Why do great pastors have evil sons?”

Number one: Because grace is not genetic. The calling of God is not genetic either. This is not a royalty situation. It’s not a kingship in the church that can be passed down to your son just because he’s your son. Flesh and blood does not have anything to do with this.

Number two: Because the fathers failed to restrain their sons. If you did that, if Dr. Lou Baldwin did it, then he will answer to God for that.

Number three: Because the devil takes deadly aim at the pastor’s house—and I know about that personally—to ruin the pastor and his family or both. Because if the devil can destroy a pastor and his wife and his children, he can destroy a whole nation. In America, that has been done. Most pastors living today are not worth a flip. They’re not worth the three million dollars of Judas money that they got. They’re not worth a flip. They’re dead as a doorknob.

Point number one: Because grace is not genetic. The calling of God is not genetic. Salvation cannot be inherited. The calling of God on a preacher cannot be inherited. This is not a kingship; this is a stewardship, and each person must be called. I’m calling on all pastors to stop trying to make your little devilish boys into preachers if they’ve never been saved and never been called. To hell with that. You got a son who’s half a homosexual and another son who is perverted and trying to mess with children, and you still want to try to promote him to be a pastor. The silly-minded women in the church, they’re behind you even though they know the child is a homosexual or a rapist and a raper of their daughters, and y’all still let them become the pastor of the church. Y’all need to stop that. If the child—if the young man—is not born again and saved, has shown that he is not a novice, has shown that he is stable, and if he’s not called by God to preach—and you know when a person is called and when they’re not—don’t let him get into the pulpit.

Point number two: Ladies and gentlemen, that I have already preached on. You say, “Well, preacher, why do you feel like you have to kind of give us a review and you take the time to read the passage again?” God is putting in my spirit to be thorough. I’m not in a rush, by the way. I’m not trying to sell books, and I’m not trying to sell tapes. I’m not—never have been like that. I’m not trying to rush to make this into a national bestseller among Christians. I’m not trying to make any money off this.

Point number two, by way of review: Because the fathers failed to restrain them. As I said before, I believe fathers are in the home to detect evil in their children and to deal with it. Some fathers love their children so much—just like some fathers love their wives so much—that they let them get away with evil and foolishness at the home that they will not let people get away with in the church. They’re hypocrites, they’re phonies, and they’re fakes. It’s all about the Benjamins and all about their image as a family. To restrain them, I say publicly to every pastor: If you detect some sugar in your son—that he is a sweet little sissy and he likes to do perverted, Sodomite homosexual things, and he would rather play with dolls than play with G.I. Joe—you need to pay attention to that and you need to deal with it. It doesn’t matter what happens in the future. What matters is that you dealt with it at the house. If he gets grown and he wants to go that way, then that’s on him, and God will deal with him.

You say, “Preacher, what if one of your sons becomes a homosexual and gets perverted like Kenny Baldwin?” I’m going to pray for him just like I’m praying for Kenny Baldwin. We really don’t need to communicate that much at all. You say, “Will you still love your child?” I will still love my child and thank God for the good that they did when they were under my roof. But as far as us having fellowship, the fellowship will be broken. We will not be kicking it together in no way, shape, form, or fashion because they have betrayed God and they have betrayed Jesus Christ. I’m not going to do like the pastor in North Carolina who had his homosexual son come in and preach. What an abomination at his church just because he is his son—holy as the devil. I rebuked him myself about that. He got fired from a seminary—a seminary that I visited a long time ago—for promoting his son’s sermon that he preached in the church. He knew his son was a homosexual with a boyfriend. “We’re preaching—don’t you feel bad that you got that preacher fired?” No, I’m glad he got fired. He should have never done that, and he knows better. That’s what you need to do. God’s going to cut off fellowship with you if you choose to be a homosexual. Is God going to love you? Yes, but the fellowship is gone. We’re not going to be communicating together like that. That’s all. I ain’t mad at nobody.

My sons know better. I taught them better than that. Have no worries about that at all. None. But if the devil tempts them with that foolishness and they become that way, we will not have any fellowship, and they could not work in my ministry at all. Restrain them. Fathers need to restrain their sons.

The peril of honoring your sons above God. God’s not going to tolerate that. This is the problem in the Independent Baptist Movement, the Southern Baptist Movement, the Evangelical Movement, the Charismatic Movement. God blesses you with a family. God blesses you with a wife. Then God, through sex, blesses you with children. You love that wife like Adam loved Eve—more than he loved God. You love those precious little children more than you love God. God is not going to have it. You start honoring the wife above God, hearkening to her voice, destroying—you know how many churches are destroyed? Pillow talk. Listening to your wife, not listening to God.

This is what they taught, including my dear friend who helped me tremendously—by himself, hundreds of thousands of dollars—Dr. Tony Evans and Dr. Lois Evans. Amen, Adam. But I heard him say back in the late 70s, early 80s, all the people were buying into these lies, telling men, “Listen to your wife. God will speak through your wife to help you run the church and help you with this and that.” They know now that’s a lie out of hell, and they regret doing it. Dr. Tony Evans, before he resigned from the ministry—bless his heart—he tried to turn it around. Same with Timothy Clinton. Because they messed up. A whole bunch of other preachers said the same thing. Yes, it reached down into the Independent Baptist Movement. This is why I call them evangelicals too. Why? Because they don’t follow. Watch this: You go to all of these Independent Baptist churches, you probably will never find a book by Mr. Independent Fundamental Baptist, Dr. Rice—Dr. John R. Rice, editor of The Sword of the Lord. I guarantee you, if you go to any Independent Baptist church, they would not have a book by Dr. John R. Rice if it is way down on the bottom shelf in the left-hand corner. They don’t have a book by Dr. Curtis Hudson or any of the other Independent Baptist preachers. They’re going to have evangelical books written by people who are part of the evangelical Illuminati. They don’t like me to say that either. There is an arm of the Illuminati in the evangelical circles. They’ll pay you a lot of money and they’ll give you a whole lot of followers to buy you. The ones that they bought, they’re out of the ministry today. You say, “Well, did they approach you?” Yes, they did. Very hard. They promised me over a million dollars and promised me help—help with your church, help with your ministry. I told them, “You liars. I don’t want it.” I knew the ones who took it—who took the money and ran. You say, “Well, where are they at now?” They’re out of the ministry, and they’re on an island. You say, “What island, preacher?” I’m not going to tell you. They might kill me faster. If we have a camera go out, it’s because of the heat situation going on down here right now. So bear with us.

Honoring their children above God, like so many pastors have honored their wives above God and they listen to their wives more than they listen to God. That statement right there, Dwight McKissick and everybody listening, that alone is why they hate me more for that than even the abomination of homosexuality. They want me dead over that alone. They really get angry, Deacon Moe—they really get angry—when I say, and I have said it from the pulpit, that they are hand-picked, controlled, and dominated by their wives. Many of them are vagina-whipped. They really hate me for that. They may not kill me physically. They know I’m a brother. I’m a real brother. They know that. They don’t want to touch the prophet too hard. But they have tried to kill me in other ways—ostracizing and talking about me like a dog. Y’all don’t hear me. I know it. My family included. My mother included. That’s right. That’s exactly right. Family members that she rules over. That’s exactly right. My wife’s family, they hate me even more. My wife’s mother and them—they all divorced and out there trying to be mannish, cutting their hair, looking like boys. They don’t like it when I tell the truth. They want to be in control. You say, “Well, where are their husbands?” They ran them off. They want their daughter to do the same. Somehow, God has dealt with my wife in such a way she fears what God would do. That’s the only reason why I think she’s here. Plus, in her case, there’s some romantic love there, but that romantic love is not strong enough to keep a 39-year-old marriage going. You’ve got to have agape love. With her not being born again saved, I don’t believe she has that. They’re trying to plot to get her to betray me, to be a Judas, like they are. These people hate me. I’m hated more for that—condemning women preachers and condemning wives controlling and dominating their husbands, manipulating their husbands, lying, being hypocritical towards their husbands, holding children over their husbands, holding alimony over their husbands, and all that foolishness.

There’s one man on TikTok—he’s saying it bluntly: “Men in America do not marry these women, especially Black women in America.” I don’t agree with him, but that’s what he’s saying because they’re going to divorce you and put you on child support and alimony and everything else. They’re going to ruin you because they’re no good today. Many women of today are no good. I agree with that. I believe that many women today are no good. Even in the church, some women are no good. Sad to say, even some pastors’ wives have turned out and have gotten worse. Some of the biggest hypocrites in America are pastors’ wives who have tried to rule and reign over their husbands—yes, using the vagina to do so. I’m telling all of you women to your faces, pastors’ wives, you ought to be ashamed of yourselves for doing that. You learned that from some devilish pastor’s wife or your mother or your grandmother or somebody, and you ought not to do that because that has to be taken care of, and that’s why we got so many marriages busting up through adultery, etc.

I’m reminded of an Independent Baptist pastor. The pastor was my pastor. This is the man who married Mrs. White and me many years ago—almost 39 years ago to the day. One of the greatest pulpiteers in American history, Dr. Bill Pennell. He took over the church after Dr. Curtis Hudson. He was a Spurgeon-like preacher—built like Spurgeon—and a good man. Had a beautiful wife. But you know what she started teaching? “Well, ladies, after you have your children, for your husband, really, you don’t have to have sex with your husband anymore.” The Independent Baptist men almost tried to hang her high. “Girl, you done lost your mind. You can’t teach that here.” They got her out of the church. I don’t know what happened exactly, what else happened to her, but they got rid of her. Dr. Bill Pennell got rid of her too. They said, “No, girl, that’s not in the Bible. Sit yourself down somewhere.” That’s what she said—Mrs. Bill Pennell. She started teaching that foolishness in the Independent Baptist. “Oh, heck no. No, sir. You can’t do that here.” Dr. Bill Pennell had to get him another wife, and he continued on by the grace of God after he got rid of her. I don’t know what else happened to her. But that’s what she was teaching. She somehow got that from the devil somewhere, talking about once you have your children with your husband, you really are not obligated to have sex with your husband again. Independent Baptist preachers lost their mind. They stood up against that foolishness. I was there.

Then in the Southern Baptist Convention, Charles Stanley’s wife lost her mind. Married to one of the greatest pulpiteers—one of the greatest preachers in American history. Don’t say he was not because you Independent Baptists—because many of you stole his sermons. Many of you could not put together a sermon like Charles Stanley, so you went and bought his books. Some of you preached his sermons almost word for word from the book. Don’t lie. Don’t bow your head yet. It’s not time to pray. I know of some who did that. Pastors. Ain’t nobody mad at you. But that’s what you did. His wife lost her mind. The man never committed adultery on her. You know what she lied about? “He doesn’t spend enough time with me.” What are you talking about? You got two, three children, got grandchildren. What do you want, woman? Forty-something years married? I didn’t believe that lie. I said it was a lie immediately. I encouraged Charles Stanley to stay in the ministry. I was in Atlanta at that time. I remember when this happened. This was a big deal. Both of these preachers’ wives—Jezebel wives—lost their minds. All that foolishness, “Listen to your wife regarding the ministry. God will speak to her when He will not speak to you.” That’s a lie from hell. Why in the world would God put a man over a woman and then speak to the woman to speak to the man? That’s crazy. I said it back then. I didn’t believe it back then. I didn’t buy into any of that demonic foolishness. It didn’t matter to me who said it.

“For I have told him that I will judge his house forever for the iniquity which he knoweth, because his sons made themselves vile.” See, adult sons can make themselves vile and wicked. That’s on them. “And he restrained them not.” That’s on the fathers. Restraining them is when they get grown—you say, “Maybe you can’t whip their butts anymore, but you can get them out of that pulpit.” I can assure you that. Thank you, Justin. We appreciate you. Pete, God bless you. With over 5,100 with us, Gypsy Heart is still with me. Gypsy Heart, I know you got other things to do up there in Canada. If you feel led of the Lord to go ahead on and leave, I understand. Same thing for you, Deacon Moe. I don’t expect you to stay here all day as I’m trying to do. I thank God for what you’ve already done because you too have boosted and others have boosted the algorithm to bring more into the house of God. You’re doing the work of an evangelist. You’re doing the work of evangelism. God bless you. I thank God for how long you have been here. I should be done under normal circumstances. I would be done because I’m preaching in 103-degree heat right now. You say, “Well, why won’t you just cut the air conditioner on?” I want you to hear what I have to say. Now, one phone camera has already gone off because of the heat, but somehow it’s still taping, it’s still recording, but I can’t see the screen. I’m trying to get this one done.

“And he restrained them not” (1 Samuel 3:13).

Ladies and gentlemen, finally, point number three—I’ve already started this, but I didn’t finish it.

Point number three: Because the devil aims at pastors, the parsonage, and the pastor’s house. The devil—if you were the devil, wouldn’t you aim at the preacher who leads hundreds? Wouldn’t you aim at the pastor who leads thousands to try to knock him out? If you can’t knock him out, knock his wife out—like the devil did with those preachers’ wives in Atlanta at two of the biggest churches in Atlanta, one Independent Baptist, one Southern Baptist. If you can’t get the wife, won’t you shoot for the children—the grown children particularly that you put in the ministry, you installed in the ministry? If you were the devil, you would. That’s what the devil does.

I understand spiritual warfare. I’ve seen the devil rise up in Mrs. White—not my children so much, but rise up in Mrs. Marika White. That’s my only Judas in my family. I mean, she’s not my only Judas in my family. There’s one other—well, four or five other Judases on her side of the family. But she’s my only Judas in our immediate family. I believe that we have one who has a heavy load of the Judas spirit—one of my sons. I have written about that, and I’ve shared with you publicly about that the other day in this series.

I know a lot about why great pastors have evil sons. My dad was a great pastor and well-known, and before I got saved, I was an evil son—very much so, demon-possessed. I hated a good, loving man who never even whipped me as he should have. Hated him like a demon for no reason whatsoever. The most loving man I’ve ever met in my life. I say that my sons are not burning down the woods for Jesus. I thank God they’re not raping children and molesting children or anything like that yet. I pray to God that they never will do that, or bamboozle people out of a million dollars in the church.

Christian James, Jennifer Hendrix, Guy, Octavia—God bless you all for being here. The devil is seeking to destroy a pastor’s family. Make no mistake about it. Because a pastor’s family can stumble or rather destroy a whole nation. That’s what we’re dealing with.

“Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations” (1 Samuel 8:5). Lord have mercy. Y’all pray for me. I can’t quit now.

Here’s the third answer, and it is the most solemn of all. Why do great pastors have evil sons? Because hell—the devil and hell—wants it to be that way. Satan is a military strategist, and he does not waste ammunition on random targets. If you’re not doing anything for God, you’re not burning down the woods for Jesus, then he’s not going to pay you any mind. He’s not going to pay you any attention. He’s going for these big guns. Pastors—the more well-known you are, the bigger you fall. He knows that if he can corrupt the shepherd’s house and create rebellion in the shepherd’s house—Rose, Becky, Pamela, Christian—he can scatter the sheep. That’s what has happened in all of these churches that had these pastors caught in evil and sin, including Crossroads Baptist Church in Virginia, where Kenny Baldwin used to pastor. He can scatter the sheep and slander the shepherd’s guard. The higher the pulpit, the harder the devil pulls on the family that stands beneath it.

Many pastors, particularly those caught up in the prosperity gospel, including Baptist churches and Bible churches, did not believe this when I was preaching this over the past 30 years—that the devil was seeking to destroy their family. They didn’t believe it. Look at the landscape today. Thousands of pastors are out of the ministry. Thousands of pastors’ families are divorced and ruined today.

Look what the ruin of these four sons cost the nation of Israel, and you will see the same thing in America. When Hophni and Phinehas carried the ark into battle like a good luck charm, 30,000 men of Israel fell. 30,000 died. The ark of God was captured, Mrs. White, by the Philistines. Both sons died in one day. Total disaster. Old Eli fell backward and broke his neck.

I do want to say something to everybody here, those of you who think foolishly that you will escape God’s chastisement if you’re a child of God or God’s punishment if you are not a child of God. I got news for you. God can punish you down to the minute, down to the second, and help you to remember why you’re being punished at the time and while you’re being chastised and why you’re being chastised. Those of you who think that you can prevent God from taking you out of this world because you go running, because you eat nothing but vegetables and granola and all of the foolish things we think—listen to me. You can ask—I believe her name is Hayden. You can be 36 years old having accomplished a whole lot and drop dead, and nobody knows why. I can’t pronounce her last name. She was alive a couple of days ago, and today she’s dead and gone at 36. Nobody knows why. She just found her dead in an apartment.

Eli fell backward and broke his neck at the news. His daughter-in-law, dying in childbirth, named her baby the saddest name in the Bible—yea, the world—Ichabod. “The glory has departed.” I’m here to tell you today, ladies and gentlemen, you hear me well. You’ll never hear this from anybody else. Ichabod has been written over most churches in America today, for they have led the West in sanctioning the abomination. When I say the West, that’s half the world—over half the world. Not just America.

The greatest thing that President Trump could do is fire his treasury secretary—a man married to a man, a homosexual—and fire everybody else in the government living that lifestyle. He’s not going to do it because, as I’ve said before, his greatest fixer way back died as a homosexual with AIDS. If anything, if Trump is anything, he’s loyal—loyal to the wrong people. Cone is his name. He died full of AIDS. He’s not going to do it. But he should do it, and then he should overdo everything, or try to overdo everything Obama and the Supreme Court did, and Biden too. We have a country now where the so-called conservative Republicans and the so-called evangelicals are in lockstep with the progressive, liberal, God-hating, woke people on that issue. President Trump is just as woke as Obama and Biden. I don’t care if you like it or not. I didn’t vote for any of these people. All of them are full of hell and the devil. God told me to stay out of it. Do not even get involved with it, no matter how much money they offer.

His daughter-in-law, dying in childbirth—Sister Gypsy Hart—named her baby the saddest name in the Bible, Ichabod. The glory has departed from the Independent Baptist Movement—the Black Independent Baptist Movement in particular. The glory has departed from the Evangelical Church, white and Black. The glory has departed from the Progressive Church, white and Black. The glory has departed from the Southern Baptists who put up a good fight early on as well as the Independent Baptists, but they chose to align themselves with the evangelicals and get caught up in politics and foolishness. The glory has departed from the greatest denominations and churches in this country. However, we do thank God for the small remnant. We thank God for the 7,000 church. We thank God for the faithful few.

You want to find the real church? Go to any church in America today that believes the Bible on Wednesday night—not on Sunday morning, Dennis. Not on Sunday morning, Harry. No, no. Go on Wednesday night. You won’t even find the pastor there because he’s supposed to be out preaching someplace else. You’ll find a bunch of folks coming—you’ll find a few folks coming, and some of them are dragging. If you can find church with more than 12 people, I’ll eat this mic on a Wednesday. Four of them will be dragging—dragging and flopping down in the back somewhere.

She named the child Ichabod, saying, “The glory—that is, the glory of God—is departed from Israel.” The glory of God has departed from America, from the White House, from the Congress, from the Senate, and more importantly, and sadder still, from the church. The glory of God has departed. I preached in a church out in San Diego years ago, and one of their mottos was “Where the shout has not gone out.”

The sins of two preachers’ sons pulled the visible glory of God out of the midst of the congregation. The sins of Samuel’s sons cost Israel something even greater. When the elders came to Samuel at Ramah, the corruption of Joel and Abiah, his two sons, was the very excuse on their lips. “Thy sons walk not in thy ways.” Rick James, B, Billy Sloan—”Thy sons”—Dr. Lou Baldwin—”walk not in thy ways. Now make us a king to judge us like all the nations” (1 Samuel 8:5). The Lord said to Samuel, “They have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.” Your sons played a big part in that. Your sons—Samuel and Eli’s sons—helped the people to turn away from me. They disrespect you all, and now they disrespect me.

Do you see it? The failure of the preacher’s sons became the occasion for the people to reject the reign of God Almighty. We all know that a false prophet, a false preacher can put a bad taste in our mouths. The era of the judges closed. The monarchy began, and oh what a mess that was with Saul. That road ran through Saul’s madness and craziness, the division of the kingdom, and finally the captivity. When the sons of the sanctuary go bad—when the sons of the pastor go bad—the people of the sanctuary look for answers in the flesh instead of repentance in the spirit, and they look for answers everywhere else except through God. That’s where the church is today, by the way. Everybody wants to go to psychologists now. Do you know Dr. Field has more influence than T.D. Jakes when he was still the pastor of the church? Dr. Field has more influence than most pastors today. Most people would rather listen to Dr. Field than most pastors today—or somebody else—because they have lost respect for pastors and churches.

Even the godliest king of Judah knew this heartbreak. Hezekiah walked with God, cleansed the temple, and saw the Lord slay Sennacherib’s army. Yet his son Manasseh became the most wicked king Judah ever had, filling Jerusalem with innocent blood and idolatry (2 Kings 21). One generation’s revival was followed by the next generation’s rebellion and destruction, and the nation paid the bill. So glad to have you, Danny and Rosa, Renee, Marcus, Burnett, Mary. God bless you for being here.

We’re coming to a close in one of my longest sermons. I’m determined to finish it. One of the reasons why I’m determined to finish this series is because this particular message is number seven. I really don’t want to go past seven. That’s why I’m preaching long. If it was six, I would have quit a long time ago. The nation paid the bill. This is why the world watches the preacher’s family with hawk’s eyes. But do you know we’re all that way in every area of life? If someone comes on the scene in any field, including the pastor, we want to know something about his wife. You say, “Well, preacher sounds like people just trying to be noticed.” No, you are prominent. You have ascended, and you’re supposed to be somebody. We want to know something about your family. If we can hear something about your wife, we’ll know a lot about you. If we can hear something about your children, especially if they’re grown, we will know a lot about you. People make judgments based upon your family. That’s all there is to it, whether you like it or not. You can try to hide your wife and hide your children all you want to. Have you noticed that many pastors don’t show family pictures? Some of the family pictures I’ve seen have been horrifying of pastors and their families. Say, “Preacher, how do you know?” Because some of the people look demon-possessed. They look like the monster’s family. That’s why some pastors withhold pictures of their family. All kinds of things are going on. People are going to watch you like a hawk. Every scandal in a ministry home becomes a headline and a hashtag. You can’t preach to thousands of people, and then something goes down and you think that you’re going to hide what went down. People are going to know and want to know and should know. That’s why pastors ought to live lives of an open book.

I have preached for years to pastors: just tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth—so help you God—about your wife, about you. Confess your sins first. Say what you need to say about your wife. Stop lying, trying to make her look like an angel when she’s a devil. The same thing for your children. Tell the truth about it ahead of time, where people don’t have to be shocked when they find out that you’re the monster’s family, that you are the Addams Family at home. That’s where it counts. God is concerned about what’s happening at the house—not necessarily at the church building—because everybody’s putting on a front at the church building, including your family, with your fake smiles and your fake knowing laughter and all of that garbage. Fake holding hands when you never have held hands before.

The sinner is looking for a reason to keep sinning, and the devil is glad to print him one. Paul’s words to religious Israel apply with terrible force to a fallen ministry, a fallen pastor, and a fallen household: “For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you.” Beloved, when we pray for our pastors, we must learn to pray just as fervently for our pastor’s children because they live in the crosshairs of the devil’s hell. And that’s a fact. Don’t tell me. I know. God has put me in a position where I influence thousands of churches. He would love to use my Judas wife, Jezebel wife—Mrs. Marika White, who’s here right now. I’ve never seen anything behind my wife’s back that’s negative that I can’t say in front of her face. It is what it is. You say, “Well, do you still love her?” I still love her with the God-kind of love. There’s no other love. But she’s full of hell and the devil—just like her mother, her aunts, her siblings, and her family. That’s all. Amen and amen.

When you have the love of God in your heart, first of all, if you’re born again and saved, you’re going to be transparent even about your mess. By being transparent—read my bio. Our mess is right there in the bio. Right in my bio publicly. Some people want me to take it down. One person said, “Nobody knows about that. Why you put that up?” I want everybody to know about it. It disarms people. It makes people feel like they’re not the only one. If Pastor White and his wife and family are going to go through hell, well, then we’re going through hell as well, I guess. I’ve said this for years, Sister Gypsy Heart, Deacon Moa: you are considered a strong and growing Christian if you are transparent—meaning you’re honest, and you tell the truth. You don’t put on any airs trying to make people think of you one way when you’re not—or your family even. As men particularly, we want everybody to think well of us and especially of our wives and of our children. You say, “Preacher, how do you know that?” I was tempted to do that too—just be a lying pastor and a lying pastor, allowing a lying pastor’s wife and lying children and everybody—the Addams Family at home, and then we act all holy and great and wonderful like the Brady Bunch in the church. God told me not to do that. I was raised in a family like that. They’re still that way. It’s all about trying to keep up an image. Frankly, I don’t give a damn about keeping up an image. I believe that we need to tell the truth, the whole truth, and be the truth, and admit the truth, no matter what we have done. If somebody is lying on us, you don’t even need to respond to that. Just keep on going. But if the truth is being told about you and you know the truth, just tell the truth up front. Don’t care what people think about you and your family because the truth of the matter is we know their families know better. Deacon Karamba, some families—just a gypsy heart—we thought was so great and wonderful. Did we not turn out to be the monster’s family? The chief monster is out of the ministry. The assistant monster, the wife, is divorced and out there whoring around with her hair cut. The children are scattered to the four corners of the world. It’s just a mess. God will allow that.

This is what I’m trying to tell you. I try to warn Independent Baptists, the Evangelicals, the Southern Baptists, National Baptists—stop this garbage of trying to make people think you have a perfect family when you don’t. That would cut back on all of these headlines because you already told the news on yourselves. If you know you did something as a pastor that you should not have done, self-resign. Get the heck out of the ministry at least for a while so that it won’t be a public scandal. Some of you think that the newspapers and even the Christian newspapers are out to get you. Let me tell you something. The secular news organizations are not out to get preachers. They don’t want to be bothered with preachers. That’s been the case for many years, and it was like a written law back in the South, back in the day in the South: don’t put up any articles about preachers or churches. They would depend upon the churches and their news agencies to put it out. It’s pretty much the same today. But, jack, you cannot send pictures of your penis to anybody and call yourself a preacher of the gospel or a preacher of the Word. As soon as you knew you were about to do something like that, you should have self-resigned and got your butt out of the ministry. Do it yourself. The deacons ought not have to sit you down. You sit your own self down and go somewhere. Tell the truth on yourself. If your wife is a devil, tell the truth about her. She’s keeping up mess in the church. Tell the truth. She’s that way at the house. Go ahead and tell the deacons and the trustees and the chief women at the church that your wife is a Judas Jezebel from hell, is demon-possessed, and is trying to hinder the church by keeping up mess among the women in the church. Y’all need to separate from her. That’s what I did. I thank God I have not had to tell the truth about any of my children except for one, and I did that publicly. If you want to start something, I will finish it. That goes for anybody in my family—my mother included. I told the truth about her. You want to start some mess and try to bring up some mess? Let’s get it on. That’s what I said from the pulpit. I was glad to say it.

My baby son helped me with the sermon—Daniel Ezekiel. My two sons helped me with all of my sermons, and they did a great job. There are two sermons that stand out that have blessed my heart for years. My oldest son, Daniel IV, helped me with a sermon dealing with how that a prophet shall not be without honor, saving his own household. My baby son took the message about family members turning against you. They were right on time. Buddy, I preached the daylights out of it. I preached the devil out of my wife’s family and out of my family. I double-dog dared them to bring up some mess with me. These are my greatest enemies.

Then there’s another level—pastors’ wives. Watch this. I really don’t have too much of a problem with pastors when I preach against the evil in their wives and how that their wives are Judas Jezebels in the church and that they need to sit down and be quiet somewhere at the house and at the church. Most pastors won’t say a word publicly. I’ve even told pastors: several pastor wives, your pastor husband is not going to say a word about what I’m saying. You’re trying to get them to do so, but they’re not going to do it. You know why? Because they’re sick of your lying, foolish mess themselves. They’re glad I’m saying it. Don’t tell me they’re not glad because I’ve had people to invite me to the church to preach on the home. That’s why they wanted their wives to hear it and they wanted the other women to hear it too. That’s right, Mary Rose. The home is out of order. The home is the biggest problem in the church and in the nation. It is ass-backwards, using a word from Bishop Daniel Whyte Jr., my dad. I didn’t say it; he said it.

Thank God a lot of my preaching has had an impact. A lot of my writing has had an impact. I’ve seen a change. I’ve used my wife, who’s sitting right here—Mrs. Marika White, my wife of nearly 39 years this year—as a proverb. She used herself as a proverb because she wrote a whole letter apologizing to me and to my children, like thousands of other wives ought to do, including pastors’ wives. This garbage of women being angels and they are the best part of the church and all of that—God does not see it that way. You say, “Preacher, you’re determined to finish this matter.” Yes, I am. God does not see it. Read the Bible. God has some issues not only with men but with women. But that would not be the case if you listen to the lives of most pastors in most churches today. They’ll try to make you think that the woman is the angel of the church. Some of the biggest whores in the world are in the church, including pastors’ wives. That right there is going to get me in a lot of trouble, but that’s all right. Some of the biggest whores in the world are in the church today. They’re Jezebels because they go around dominating men, controlling men with their vaginas, manipulating men and the pastors. You know why there’s so many so-called women preachers? Because the women have trapped them with their vaginas, and they say, “You better let us preach or we’re going to tell the truth on you. You and your other sorry men and preachers in the church who come by the house—we dare you not to let women preach in the church. We dare you. You won’t be preaching long because we all got your whoremongering number, pastor.” That’s how it happened, people. They didn’t need any money. They got something more valuable than money to a man. They got them held hostage. “We want women preachers in this church. You won’t give it to us? Why? Because we gave you something. We all know you. We’ve all had a conversation about you, Pastor. You won’t have a job if you don’t let Sister So-and-so, Sister Blessed, preach.” Jaden, Luna—oh yes, oh yes. I dare you to say anything about what I just said because I know it’s true. There are women in the church who control pastors like a puppet on a string.

Ladies and gentlemen, the AI who does my clips—they’re going to have a field day today. Lord have mercy. You all have been with me a long time. God bless you if you need to take a break. If you need to go get yourself a sandwich, you go right ahead. I ain’t mad at you. I thank God for your being here as long as you have.

When we pray for our pastors, we must learn to pray just as fervently for our pastor’s children because they live in the crosshairs of hell. Sometimes the pastor is not the whoremonger. Sometimes the pastor has whoremongering sons. My dear mother made me go to church, but I went to church for my reasons. I had to go. Since she made me go, I was looking at those hips in that choir box. You say, “Preacher, you ought to be ashamed of yourself.” I am. I’m not a good person, but I have a good Savior. He saved me from that. That’s the reason why I went to church—because I had a whoremongering heart for those fat church girls. Yes, I did. I was the son carrying the name of the great preacher, Bishop Daniel Whyte Jr., that disarmed the women. “Oh, you’re Bishop Daniel Whyte Jr.’s son—the one who has the gospel show.” They thought I was a little angel when I was the biggest devil in there. I’m not the only one. Dr. Grant’s son was a whoremonger, too. Don’t bow your head yet and pray. We’re not praying right now. I’m talking to all of my family who consider me the black sheep of the family. The great Dr. Grant was a whoremonger—just as bad as I was. Some of you who are listening know who Dr. Grant was—the great bishop of the Holiness Church, Pentecostal Holiness Church Incorporated. That’s right. So it’s not always the pastor who is whoremongering around. The sons of the pastor—they’re whoremongering around in the church.

I must hurry because I’m running out of time. Mrs. White, I tell you, you have never preached this long before. If it was up to Mrs. White, I wouldn’t be preaching at all. I can assure you that. Her mother and her aunts—she has this same spirit in her, but not as bad as they do—they want me to stop preaching altogether to the point of death. Trying to put up their little sons and grandsons and nephews to kill me. I told the young men, “Now listen, don’t listen to these old women. Because you run up in here, if you want to, you may be killed. Don’t get your ass in trouble following these old single women—grandmothers and mothers and aunts—because they want to see you do something.” There is a clear divide happening in our country right now. You end up in jail, messing with the man of God, because I’m praying for them and praying for you. You don’t think I know who you are, but I do. You know why they want to kill me? Because these women hate my preaching. They hate what I preach. Many people do. My own mother hates what I preach. My mother—she knows where I came from—should be my biggest supporter in the world, and she never has been. My dad was my biggest fan. He was so happy that his son got saved and called to preach.

Let me balance the scales before I close this point. There are godly fathers here whose hearts are broken over wayward children. I will not send you home under a load God never put on you. Not every prodigal is proof of a failed father. God the Father was a perfect father, and Adam still rebelled in a perfect garden and hearkened to the voice of his wife and put us in hellaciousness for thousands of years. I know some of y’all have the question—well, that’s right, preacher. Why is that? I’m not dealing with that right now. I’m trying to wrap this up.

Ezekiel 18 stands forever. Each soul answers for his own sin. Dr. Lou Baldwin will not answer for Kenny Baldwin’s sin or Michael’s sin. Michael is already in jail, and Kenny is getting ready to go to jail. I know that they’re fighting hard to keep him out because that’s going to be very discombobulating, especially for his wife and children. The question has to be raised, COBA, men, COBA pastors. If adultery with a woman is grounds for divorce, I believe sending pictures of your penis to a 15-year-old boy is beyond grounds for divorce. I don’t think a woman needs to stand or stay in something like that with those children. That’s what I believe.

I know the family doesn’t want that. I can see Bethany standing with him if he committed adultery and he sent some penis pictures to a woman. It would take the grace of God for her to stand with him. She would have grounds for divorce, but there are many women who would still stay with their husbands because history tells us that the women who stay with their husband even after the husband has committed adultery—they win, baby. They win. Not the girlfriend, not even the husband, but the wife. She wins always. God blesses her to win, win, win. He’s already defeated. The whore is already gone. She gets nothing but the reputation as a homebreaker and a whore. That’s it. The wife who shows grace to her husband and stays with him after he’s messed up with another woman—she wins, baby. Yeah. She can divorce if she wants to, but she wins in that case.

Now, I’m asking the brothers of Cobra—the men of Cobra, the pastors of Cobra. What do we do with a pastor? What does the wife do with a pastor, her husband, who’s been sending what only she should see—penis pictures to a little boy, same-sex, homosexual activity—wanting evidently to put his penis in a little boy’s anus? You say, “Preacher, you ought not to say.” I said it. I’m not going to take it back because that’s what you’re doing. If you’re sending pictures of your penis, Cobra preachers, talk to me. I’m not engaging with Dr. Lou Baldwin. I don’t believe he has anything to do with this. I believe he’s heartbroken. I’m hoping that God will give him the grace and strength to get rid of those boys out of that church completely—not even to visit—out, out. I’m hoping the man who started the church would finish his life preaching the same gospel and the same word that he always preached and that he would pray harder than ever before—unless he knew about these things or he had something to do with these things.

What does a wife do? I know, after so many years—20-something years married or whatever—you hate to see your marriage go down the drain. But something needs to happen when you’re doing that. You want a little boy more than all of this—all that I have right here for you? I have born you children into the world, and you want a little boy? You’re sending your penis pictures to a little boy? You say, “Preacher, don’t you know you’re upsetting the Baldwin family?” I’m not trying to upset anybody. If they get upset, they’ll just be upset. This is beyond the pale, people. I’ll just say this: I know Bethany’s father, Dr. Michael Burris. If it was my daughter, I wouldn’t want my daughter and my grandchildren back with me—not with him. Dr. Michael Burris has never thought about anything like that. I doubt if Bethany ever thought about anything like that. I would not want that in my children’s, my grandchildren’s mind or her mind. This is why I’m telling Dr. Lou Baldwin: whatever she wants to do, help her to do it, set her up, make sure she does not have to work or do anything else, and keep Mr.—I keep forgetting his name—Kenneth Baldwin away from her and those children.

Ezekiel 18 stands forever. Mrs. White, each soul answers for his own sin. Sometimes a son is evil despite the father, not because of the father. They made themselves vile in God’s sight, the Bible says. If you have taught the truth, lived the truth, and watered your children with prayers and tears, then do not let the devil condemn you. Keep praying. For some, keep the porch light on. If my son did what Kenny Baldwin did, the porch light would not be on, and nor would he have a key—because I don’t know him. If you did something like that, I don’t know you. Now, will I in my heart still love the children that God blessed me to have in this world? Yes, I will. But the porch light won’t be on, and you will not have a key, and no key will be left on the mat if you sent your penis pictures to a little boy. You folks gonna make me cuss. If you think that’s going to be the case—no, sir. I don’t know you. I don’t come here, and I don’t want Popo to come here either. But I will keep on praying.

Remember that the story is not over until God says it is over. But we’re talking about two preacher boys in the Bible having sex with women in the church. We’re not talking about what’s happening in this modern time where a pastor who started one of the biggest churches in American history raped a girl at 12, at 13, at 14, and at 15—and some say 16. I’m still trying to find out where the father was and the mother.

Many a prodigal has come to himself in the far country and started home. You say, “Preacher, you won’t be like the prodigal father in the Bible and welcome your homosexual-based pedophile son with open arms?” No, sir, no ma’am. “Preacher, you’re just hot.” No, sir, no ma’am. I can’t. I didn’t raise my child to do stuff like that. That’s beyond the pale. All of this talk about “but for the grace of God, there go I” where? Sending, trying to have sex with a 15-year-old boy? Uh-uh. Excuse me, there go I nowhere near that. No. The grace of God will keep you from even thinking about something like that. Those of you who want to say, “Bless your heart”—I know what you want to say. We got a phone that I have to—a camera that I got to deal with here.

No, I would not welcome him. You can love people and pray for people without inviting them to your house. I would not want him in my house if he did that. I would not want a homosexual son in my house with a so-called boyfriend. I would never want to see that. But I didn’t raise my children like that. That’s the devil’s work. I believe that God can change them immediately or down the road. I have great faith in God. I have no doubt about that. But as long as you’re doing mess like that—if you got a girlfriend and you got her pregnant—I can work with you and welcome all y’all into the house of love. My house. I’m all right with that. I can deal with you. Even if he had sex with a girl and got her pregnant, I can work with them and the children. I’m not going to watch the children. I’m not going to raise the children. But I’ll help you get started in doing that, just like I did it for you. All I’m going to say: “Do you remember how I raised you?” “Yes, sir.” “Okay, then. Will you go and do that? Go and do that likewise. You understand me? With your girlfriend here. Y’all need to get married. I can marry you right now. I got all of the authority vested in me to marry you before God Almighty right here on the front porch, the back porch of the living room. You can’t stay here long. I’ll let you stay a few nights, but you can’t stay here long. You got to find your own place now because I don’t want the boom boom going on in my house unless I’m doing the boom boom with your mother. That’s it. Ain’t nobody else doing it. Ain’t no grown folks doing the boom boom up in my house. This is the preacher’s house. This is the prophet’s house. We can’t have it. Not in my house. I don’t want to hear no bumping and knocking unless I’m doing the bumping and knocking up in here. I’m telling you the truth. I lie not.

Many a prodigal has come to himself in the far country and started home. May God bless them. I’m not the prodigal father. You’re not the prodigal son in this story that Jesus told. I have open arms in my heart. I pray for you, but you can’t bring the devil up in my house. In my old age—no, no, no, no, no, sir, no ma’am.

Conclusion: Ladies and gentlemen, I know some of y’all say, “Oh, I’m so glad this man said the conclusion.”

The conclusion: Why do great pastors have evil sons?

  1. Because grace is not genetic, and every child must be born again saved for himself.
  2. Because fathers, even great fathers, sometimes will not restrain what they ought to restrain in their children and honor their sons, their daughters, above their God—something I will never do. God knows it. I have never done it with their mother, and I will never do it with my children. I’ve never done it with my own mother. I have no problem as a prophet rebuking my own mother for her evil ways. Have no problem. I’ll do it respectfully, but no, she’s wrong. She’s wrong. Same thing for my sisters. I have no fear of any woman on this earth because I know your place. More importantly, God knows your place.
  3. Because the devil aims his heaviest artillery at the house of the man of God—as the old saints used to say, “the man of God, the man-child”—knowing that a fallen parsonage, a fallen pastor’s home, can trouble a whole nation and destroy a whole nation.

But thank God the story of Scripture does not end at Shiloh or at Ramah. All these failed sons make us homesick for one Son who never failed. Eli’s sons corrupted the priesthood and the temple, but we have a great High Priest, Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Do you know Him? Who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and high and lifted up (Hebrews 4:14, 7:26). Samuel’s sons perverted judgment for bribes, but “with righteousness shall he judge the poor” (Isaiah 11:4). Israel demanded a king like all of the nations, but God, in the fullness of time, gave them the King of kings, born in David’s city. The Father said of Him what Eli and Samuel never could say of their boys: “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 3:17).

By the way, there’s a video of false prophet Brian Kahn visiting his father on his deathbed. I know Negro fathers. I know Black men. What I saw—I don’t believe it was a situation where he could not speak. That father was so ashamed of his son. That’s what I saw. He resisted everything his son tried to say to him, especially when false prophet lying Brian Kahn said, “You’re Brian Kahn Senior. I’m Brian Kahn Junior. You’re local, but I made it. I made the name worldwide.” This boy is delusional. One commentator said, “Yeah, you made it worldwide because you made it into federal prison for lying and talking out of both sides of your mouth and then prophesying that you would never spend a day in prison. Now you’re in prison for a long time.”

Where do you get that towel from, preacher? This is an old school preacher towel. This is what they had to preach, use in the churches when they didn’t have any air conditioning.

Matthew 3:17: “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Fathers, get your children to that Son, Jesus Christ. Preachers, pastor your own table before you pastor anybody else’s. Some of you pastors just need to sit down for a while before you’ve made a mockery of the church and of the gospel. Just sit down. “Well, who’s going to pastor the church?” Not you. Don’t worry about it. The church—the true church of Jesus Christ—will go on. If the church falls apart because you’re not there, then it’s probably not a church of the Lord’s in the first place. That’s why I’ve told people this week: don’t worry about it. Don’t worry about the church. What’s going to happen to the church? The church belongs to Jesus. The church is not a building. You can meet anywhere today in church. We got thousands here today—almost 6,000 people came here today to hear me preach. The church has always been the people, not the building.

Because pastors have failed so badly in their own lives with their wicked Judas Jezebel pastor’s wives and with their own wicked children, I tell people all the time: go to church of your choice every Sunday, at least every Wednesday night of your choice. I don’t care if it’s black or white or red or yellow, where the pastor preaches the Word and it seems like they’re living the Word—go online. Don’t go to these brick and mortar places that you are suspicious of. Don’t take your children and put them in the nursery or any other—perhaps the pirate or Awanas—because you don’t know what kind of people are working in that church. These people are watching pornography. Do you want a pastor who watches pornography and then looks at homosexual pornography and then looks at child pornography? Go to the sheriff’s department and check out whether or not your pastor is watching pornography because the sheriff’s department is watching him. I can’t give many amen because I know I’m right. In every county in America, the sheriff’s department has a unit watching pastors and other people look at pornography. They put tests in the pornography. If you—they’ll put a child in there. If you click on it, they coming for you. Go ahead and open the door and get in the car. Get in the sheriff’s car because they coming for you. Especially if you’re a pastor of a church. Shame on you. If you want to know whether or not your pastor is watching, go down to the sheriff’s department. They know.

Preachers, pastor your own family before you pastor anybody else’s family. Sons and daughters of the sanctuary, do not try to ride your father’s coattails of faith into heaven. He will not carry you. And every brokenhearted parent in this house tonight—if you contributed to it, parent, then take your blame. Take your blame. Don’t lie about it. Bring your Hophni, your Phinehas, your Joel, and your Abiah to the throne of grace. For the God who saved you is mighty enough to save them too. Amen and amen.

Closing Poem: “The Preacher’s Sons”

At Shiloh Gate, the lamps burned low,
The priest was old, his steps were slow.
His sons in robes of holy white
Made God’s own house a den of night.
They seized the flesh from off the flame,
They knew the altar, not the name.
For garments cannot save the soul,
Nor incense make a sinner whole.

The father heard the father’s side,
He warned with words, but never tried
To pluck the evil from its place.
He loved their faces more than God’s grace.
Then Ramah’s prophet, true and tried,
Who judged the land from side to side,
Set his own sons on judgment’s seat,
And bribes made all their rulings sweet.

O fathers, hear what Shiloh cries:
No son is saved by family ties.
The grace that burns in father’s breast
Must fall from heaven on the rest.
And hear what Ramah’s ruin taught:
The souls at home must first be sought.
For he who wins the world abroad
May lose his house and grieve his God.

The glory fled, the ark was gone,
The people cried for flesh and throne.
One fallen house, one shattered name
Can set a nation’s doubt aflame.
But lift your eyes, one Son stands true,
Who kept the law for me and you,
The Father’s well-beloved Son,
God’s perfect priest, God’s sinless One.

So bring your sons, though far they roam,
And pray them down the long road home.
For He who heard your midnight cry
Can save your children by and by.

Prayer:

Holy Father God, I praise You and thank You so much for Your Holy Word, which is so rich. I can preach from it on one sermon for hours at a time. Holy Father God, thank You for Your Holy Word. Thank You for Your Holy Spirit. Thank You for Your Holy Son. Thank You for leading me to deal with this subject, which Lord, I have never—this is what I heard down through the years, but nobody preached on it. Lord, thank You for giving me Your grace, Your strength, and the power of Your Holy Spirit to preach Your Holy Word on this subject today. Now, Lord, I pray that You’ll save that soul that’s near as hell, reclaim the backslidden, and revive the saved. In Jesus Christ’s name I pray and for His sake. Amen.

Invitation:

Ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, family, friends, and foes—and yes, even foes in the family. If you do not know Jesus Christ as your Savior, believe in Him today. Understand, number one, that you are a wicked and evil sinner. So am I. So is the Pope, the Dalai Lama, and even Joel Osteen. The Bible says we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God—not just the preacher’s sons, but everybody.

Number two, understand that you’re going to die because of your sins. The Bible says, “The wages of sin is death.” “The soul that sinneth, it shall die.” You know that you’re headed towards death. Hayden died yesterday—dropped dead at 36 years old. One day you will drop dead, and so will I. Why? Because of our sins.

Number three, understand that you will die and you will go to hell. As sure as I’m Black and my last name is White, you will go to the lake of fire one day if you are a liar—because of your sins—and you will spend eternity there. That’s why it is so important that Jesus Christ suffered, bled, and died on the cross for your sins, was buried, and rose from the dead. It’s so important that you believe in Him, trust in Him, be humble and pray and ask Him to save you. Jesus Christ said, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Believe in Him today, my dear friends. Pray and ask Him to save you. With His help, repent of your sins and change.

Follow me in the sinner’s prayer:

Holy Father God, have mercy and grace upon my soul. Please forgive me of all of my sins, my failures, and my faults. As I now believe in You, Lord Jesus Christ, the best way that I know how, I believe that You suffered, You bled, and that You died on the cross for my sins, was buried, and rose on the third day. Lord Jesus Christ, I trust You as my Savior. I believe You died for my sins, was buried, and rose on the third day. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Help me to change, help me to repent of my sins, and help me to follow You, Lord Jesus Christ, in the newness of life, permanently and for the rest of my life until I see You face to face. In Jesus Christ’s name I pray and for His sake. Amen.

God bless you, dear friends. Until next time, pray for me as I pray for thee. Lord willing, I’ll see you soon. God bless you.

His mottoes are “Crying in the Wilderness,” “Exiled on the Isle of Patmos,” and “Preaching the Gospel by any means necessary,” all for the glory of God and Jesus Christ.

Daniel Whyte III is the president of the over-40-year-old Gospel Light Evangelistic Society International and the over-37-year-old Gospel Light House of Prayer International. He is known worldwide as the prophet who predicted the Coronavirus Plague over 10 years before it hit in recorded preaching and writing. God also led him to guide thousands through the Coronavirus Plague that killed over 20 million people because of the sins in the Judas-Laodicean church.

Daniel Whyte III’s greatest blessing in this life is his “quiver full” of 10 children—Daniella (Danni), Daniel IV, Danita Evangeline, Danae Mary-Louise, Daniqua Grace, Danyel Ezekiel, Danyelle Elizabeth Breedlove, Danielle Tekeela, Duran-Daniel, and the first Daniel IV (deceased and in heaven with the Lord)—along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Daniel Whyte III has been unblissfully but sexually satisfyingly married to his first and only wife, Meriqua Whyte of Christiana, Jamaica, for over 37 years since December 19, 1987. Jesus Christ said: “And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.” Even though many evangelicals, charismatics, and Protestants try to act as if these words of Jesus Christ are not a reality in our modern Christianity—primarily because of the Satanic-driven prosperity gospel and an over-positive philosophy, which is a lie not based in reality or biblical truth—the words of Jesus Christ are true for every person who preaches the Gospel. The outcomes of the Gospel are a changed life and opposition from family, lukewarm Christians, Laodicean-Judas pastors and churches, the world, and the devil. This is a reality in our present evil world.

While Daniel Whyte III thoroughly enjoys his married life because he did not allow his wife to have her way at any point and was and is solidly and biblically the head of his household throughout the marriage—often quoting Joshua, “As for me and my house, we’re going to serve the Lord” “up in here!”—and because his wife never failed in the very important area of sex, which he got married for in the first place to avoid sinning against God, he has especially enjoyed the privilege and joy of raising his children in the Lord virtually by himself. He served the Lord with them every day of their lives, from the time they were born until they graduated from college, became adults, and moved on.

However, his wife, Meriqua Whyte—motivated by Satan, with a Pharaoh-style pride mixed with the well-known female Jamaican-style pride, stubbornness, rebelliousness, and witchcraft—has been his greatest Judas enemy in the world and has been what Paul spoke of: a “messenger of Satan” and a “thorn in the flesh.” Amazingly, and by the grace of God, that Satanic evil opposition has spurred Daniel Whyte III on to preach the Gospel probably more times than any man on record. God has honored him because he did not “hearken to the voice of his wife.” Whyte tells other Christian men to only hearken to the voice of God and Jesus Christ—not to their wives, as so many thousands of church men have been taught by pastors and other older men throughout the years. Remember, we are in this worldwide, multi-generational mess because Adam hearkened to the voice of his wife and not to the voice of God.

Before they were married, Daniel Whyte III told his wife Meriqua Whyte that they would not do family life as her parents did, because their married life was hellacious and ended in divorce, as did some of her other family members, including the aunt she was living with. He also told his wife they would not do family life as his parents did, because it was also hellacious and out of order since his mother was the head of the household, not his father. But thanks be to God, they never got a divorce. Whyte told his wife before they got married that they were going to do it God’s way according to Ephesians chapters 5 and 6, or no way at all. And then he asked his wife, “Are you willing to do marriage God’s way according to Ephesians chapters 5 and 6?” And she said yes. Whyte told her before they got married that if she did not live up to her end of the deal, all bets were off.

Because Daniel Whyte III’s wife, Meriqua Whyte, was so proud, unsubmissive, stubborn, and rebellious after they got married, God led him to read Ephesians chapters 5 and 6 every day in their family devotions throughout their marriage. In the first year of their marriage, Daniel Whyte III also gave his wife a list of verses for women from the Word of God for her to read, which she still reads to this day. He also bought her many books to read to help her be the wife God wanted her to be.

Whyte realized early in the marriage that his wife was not a born-again, saved person even though she lied and said she was before they got married. After over 37 years of marriage, she is still not saved, never bearing any fruit of a saved person, to the point of not even wanting to tell her children, “I love you” and not wanting to hug them when they were little children, even after her husband told her to do so. She also hated the daily family devotions that her husband led and tried to hinder them. She also demonically hated and tried to hinder every Gospel preaching service to this very day.

However, only by the grace of God, they are still married, and despite the devil constantly working through his wife to try to hinder him from preaching the Word of God, he is still preaching the Gospel and the Word of God live and on-demand. His ministry reaches over 148,800 people per month with over 21,000 unique views per month, reaching 149 countries, preaching the Gospel and the Word of God in 2 to 3 services a day, 7 days a week. Glory be to God!

Mrs. Meriqua Whyte’s Apology to her Husband and Their 7 Children for not Being a Biblical Wife or Mother

Mrs. Meriqua Whyte, the Wife of Daniel Whyte III, Gave him the Best Father’s Day Gift Ever About 10 Years Ago When She Unexpectedly and Voluntarily Apologized for the First Time to Him and Their 7 Children for Not Being the Wife, Mother, and Christian Example of the Woman She Should Have Been Over the Past 37 Years of Marriage

Here is what Mrs. Meriqua Whyte wrote ten years ago after verbally apologizing to the entire family on Father’s Day, right before church service:

Over thirty years of marriage. Over thirty years of ups and downs. Over thirty years of trying to make our problems a personal thing between my husband and me. Thankfully, he did not allow me to do that and kept telling me it was between God and me—over thirty years of acting on my feelings and not on what the Bible says. Over thirty years of refusing to obey God’s simple command to a wife—to be obedient to your husband in all things. Over thirty years of disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, lying, and dishonesty, all rooted in pride. Over thirty years of simply not choosing to mature as a Christian.

God has been dealing with me for over thirty years now about changing my attitude and behavior as a wife, which has manifested itself in disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, lying, dishonesty, having an ungodly attitude and spirit, and simply not being the wife, mother, or example of a Christian woman that I should have been throughout the years. (By the way, for those of you who may be thinking that my disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, lying, and dishonesty have resulted in adultery, I will say here that I have never committed any adultery or had sex with another man besides my husband, Daniel Whyte III, since I was born.)

God kept telling me I needed to stop my rebellious and stubborn behavior, apologize to my husband and children, and get my heart right with him, my husband, and my children. He sent others my way to tell me how to behave:

  • My husband, but I didn’t want to hear it from him
  • Other Christian women speakers
  • Other preachers
  • Books and other materials, but I would not take heed

I knew what to do, but I chose not to do it. The devil had me thinking and believing—as he is having a lot of wives and mothers think and believe—that your relationship with your husband and how you respond to him, whether positive or negative, will not affect your relationship with your children or your relationship with God. I say without hesitation that this is one of the devil’s lies, and sad to say, many wives and mothers are falling for this lie.

Another lie of the devil that Christian wives are falling for is that you can still have a strong relationship with God without being submissive to your husband. Lie! Lie! Lie! There is no truth to this. I know because I have experienced this and am still experiencing this as I am going through this breaking process, which is not happening overnight.

Even throughout my years of rebelliousness, stubbornness, and pride, I still kept praying the prayer I used to pray daily before I got married: “Lord, make me be exactly what You want me to be. Lord, break, make, and mold me into what you want me to be.” Well, God took that prayer seriously, and once you accept Him, He will begin the breaking process. It’s up to us how long that breaking process will take. For me, sad to say, it has taken over 30 years, and the breaking is not complete. In what way is God breaking me down right now? Well, our children have grown up. The three oldest have gone through and are still going through college, have gotten their degrees, and some are working on their second, third, and fourth degrees, launching their careers and moving out. God slapped me into reality and truly intensified the breaking process. My husband told me before our first child was born and repeatedly while the children were young that my job was to love our children and make positive memories with them and that if I did that, I would have a wonderful relationship with them as adults in the time to come. Well, I disobeyed God and my husband, who did not let up on his duties. And he has a wonderful relationship with our children, even the girls, and I don’t. However, God led me to finally break the day before Father’s Day, and while I was helping my husband get dressed to preach, I asked him if I could apologize to him and the entire family. That’s the first time I ever did that on my own. Throughout the years, he has always told me that I needed to get my heart right with God, him, and my children; otherwise, I would never have the joy and peace of the Lord in my life. However, I kept on lying and denying that I was the problem.

Here is what I said to my husband and children on Saturday afternoon, June 17, 2017, the day before Father’s Day. My husband told the entire family that this was the best Father’s Day gift I have ever given to him:

“Daddy, children, I apologize for not being the wife, mother, and example of a Christian woman I should have been throughout the years. I have shown nothing but pride, disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, and a bad attitude and spirit toward God and my husband in front of you. My disobedience and rebelliousness have caused much unnecessary unrest and upheaval in the family. As my husband told me, things could have gone much better if I had obeyed God’s word from the beginning. Please accept my apology, and I am asking you to forgive me.”

The diminishing of peace and joy in my life throughout the years I brought on myself. Not having a proper relationship with God, my husband, and my children, I brought on myself—all because I chose the disobedient route. My number one desire is to live a life of peace—peace with God, my husband, and my children. I have learned that peace will not come as long as I live in disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, and pride.

I will end this with two notes: (1) Happy Father’s Day to my husband: you have been a great husband and father. (2) Happy Children’s Day to my children: You all have been great children. I have no complaints whatsoever against my husband and, of course, children; you have never been at fault. My bad behavior is all on me, and I’m sorry I put you through this. May God bless your lives, and I love you.

Ephesians 5:22 – 6:20 (KJV)

Below is the passage in the Bible that Daniel Whyte III read in their family devotions every day for decades. It covers the biblical duties of the husband, the wife, and the children, and includes how to fight against the devil who is seeking to destroy the family.

22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

6 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

2 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;

3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;

6 Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;

7 With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:

8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.

9 And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

The Gospel in a Nutshell

If you were to die today, where would you go: Heaven or Hell? If you’re not sure, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.”

Jesus Christ said the most important words ever spoken in the history of the world when He said, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

The Most Important Question in the World: Have You Been Twice Born?

This is the “Chief of sinners,” Daniel Whyte III, president of Gospel Light Society International, with the Gospel Light Minute X Podcast #447, titled, “The Big Question.” I’m here to remind you of what the Bible says: that “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” like you and me.

“Have You Been Born Again?”

The question is not, “Have you joined a church?” or “Are you trying to do your best?” or “Do you have religion?” but, “Are you twice-born?” Jesus Christ said in John 3:3, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

We enter the physical world by birth. Spiritual life, likewise, is entered with a birth. We become members of a human family by birth; we become members of the family of God by birth, by being “born again.” There is no other way to get into the human family except by birth, and there is no other way to get into God’s family except by the new birth. Neither education, nor cultivation, nor reformation, nor “turning over a new leaf,” will accomplish this. What is needed is not a new “leaf” but a new “life”! “Ye must be born again” (John 3:7).

A New Nature Needed

By physical birth, we become partakers of human nature; by being born again, we become “partakers of the divine nature.” A Christian is the product of a divine “begetting.” The second birth is not an improvement of the old nature; it is the imparting of an entirely new nature. The old nature is hopelessly corrupt and incapable of ever being made fit for His presence. The new birth requires a creative act of the Holy Spirit. “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.”

Not “Trying” But “Trusting”

“Trying to follow Christ” is not Christianity. Christianity is not imitation of Christ; it is the indwelling of Christ. Christianity is not trying to do anything. It is trusting Christ, who has done it all! He has “finished the work,” and there is nothing left to do but simply to receive and trust Him. He shed His precious blood on the cross, and the work is all done once and forever! Cease trying and begin trusting! Believers will progressively become more and more like Christ, but by His power, not their own.

What Must I Do To Be Saved?

Simply “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.” The Bible says in 1 John 5:1, “Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God.” The Bible states in John 1:12-13, “As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”

You are born again, you become a Christian by trusting a Person—receiving a Person. The very moment you do this, the Lord Jesus Christ comes in and life begins!

What Is Meant By “Believe”?

To “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ” means more than simply believing the historic facts concerning Him. Intellectual belief about Christ is not sufficient. The belief that brings salvation must be “with the heart,” that is, with the whole being. This belief also includes repentance: “Repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.” The Bible states in Acts 17:30, “God… now commandeth all men everywhere to repent.”

The faith which saves, then, includes the necessity to repent and to receive Christ as Savior and Lord, to rest upon Him alone for salvation. It means to trust Him so utterly and completely that, if He should fail, there would be no hope at all!

May I Know That I Am Born Again?

This is an important question. We know that we are born again by the testimony of God’s Word. God says in John 5:24, “He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” Have you believed on the Lord Jesus Christ as explained by God’s Word? If so, then you are saved, you are “born again,”; you have “passed from death unto life.” God says so! Take God at His Word, and go on your way rejoicing!

One Final Word

You may “belong to a church,” you may be “trying to do the best you can,” you may be “striving to live right.” Your outward life may be the model of moral correctness, and you may be looked up to, honored, revered, and respected. Yet, if you have not been “born again,” you are just as lost as if you had never heard of Christ. Yes, you may teach in the Sunday school, read the Bible, sing, shout, “feel happy,” and all the rest—but if you have never been “born again,” you are still in your sins and a stranger to the Lord Jesus Christ.

If you want to be saved from the wrath to come and from an eternity in Hell, and if you believe that Jesus Christ suffered, bled, and died on the cross for your sins, was buried, and rose again from the dead, and you are willing to trust Jesus Christ with all of your heart so you can go to Heaven, please pray with me what is called the sinner’s prayer:

Holy Father God, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I admit that I have sinned against You and that I have broken Your Ten Commandments. I have lied before. I have stolen things before. I have lusted after people and things before. I have dishonored and disobeyed my parents. I have taken Your holy Name in vain. For Jesus Christ’s sake, please have mercy and grace upon my soul and forgive me of all of my sins, my failures, and my faults. As I now believe in Your Holy Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe that He suffered, bled, and died on the cross for my sins, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to repent of my sins past. Help me to turn from my old, evil life and follow You in the new life. For it is in Your Name I pray. Amen.
