Both Sides of the Church Have Failed God, Jesus Christ, and America: 3 Things They Must Do
Everybody, please turn in your Bibles to Matthew chapter 21. And may I say to you, Happy Thanksgiving Thursday.
And I do praise the Lord for my daughter, Daniella (Danni) Whyte. And I thank the Lord for her book, 365 Days of Thanking God: Cultivating a Heart of Everyday Thanksgiving. Daniella (Danni) Whyte, at the age of 16, included in her book, 365 Days of Thanking God: “I am thankful that life is a battle and that because of the Lord, we are on the victorious side.” She said that from her heart. And then she included, ladies and gentlemen, these words: “The point is, in spite of everything else that is going on in our lives, if we are alive, we need to be thanking God.” From the book, 365 Days of Thanking God: Cultivating a Heart of Everyday Thanksgiving.
That is very interesting. I told Mrs. Whyte just this morning that a young 20-year-old pilot, a female pilot, just went through the most horrifying plane crash experience of any in modern history, as far as I’m concerned. Because I believe somebody took over that plane. And I hope you people understand that AI is so powerful: if people know how to use it, they can take over a plane. They can take over your computer. They can take over your phone. Pardon me. And I’m experiencing some of that now, I do believe. Okay? So I told my wife that this morning, because she likes to play the victim. She has been that way all of her life, because she wants people to feel sorry for her for no reason at all, because if she is feeling weak or sick, it is her own fault. And I told her, now, a 20-year-old girl just died in a plane crash, a horrifying plane crash. And her dad is mourning, her mother is mourning. You don’t want your children to die, and you certainly don’t want them to die like that. And so quite frankly, quite frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn about this fake whining and murmuring. You need to get over yourself. You need to grow up and act like an adult. Because in this old sinful world, many people are in a far worse situation than you are. And we need to go and pray for them. Pray for others. You know why you’re in this situation. It is your own fault. You disobey God. You disobey Jesus Christ. You disobey the Word of God. You disobey what your husband has told you to take care of yourself. As God knows, and you know, and the people listening to us know, I have provided everything you need, and yet you still have a whining spirit, while people, young people, children are dying and being raped and molested. And so quite frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn. Now go ahead on and do what you know you need to do, and rise to the occasion, and do what you are supposed to do. We have to — I have to — whether you want to or not, pray for other people who are in a far worse situation. That’s what I told her this morning.
And I am thankful to see that my daughter, Daniella (Danni) Whyte, who is totally different than her mother — she’s more like me — she is born again, saved, for one reason. And so she’s upbeat and positive and overcomes and gets things done. She says again, “I am thankful that life is a battle and that because of the Lord, we are on the victorious side.”
In case you’re wondering, I didn’t say that exactly to my wife this morning, but the sentiment was the same. I guess I just was inspired, because of the great crowd here this morning, to use Humphrey Bogart’s statement to the Southern belle in that movie, Gone with the Wind. And oh, I know some tongues are wagging, and some tongues are going to wag all day long. But that’s how I felt about it, because people are going through real hell on this ball called Earth and are in the hospital with real issues and are dying. I cannot remember a time when more people died in a week’s time. And yes, I do believe the Lord Jesus Christ is coming soon. I do believe that more than ever.
And so my daughter, Daniella (Danni), wanted her book, 365 Days of Thanking God — she said, “The point is, in spite of everything else that is going on in our lives, if we are alive” — and this is a message to her mother, the message I was giving her this morning. And we all have people in our families, and we know people who are feeble-minded. They always want to play the victim. They always want somebody to know that they’re a victim, or feel like a victim. They want everybody to know they’re never positive. They’re never upbeat. They’re never encouraging anybody else. According to Elvis’s song, “You’re nothing but a hound dog.” You’re nothing but a hound dog. Curtis Bonaparte, so glad to have you. Deacon Karamba, so glad to have you. And I want to encourage all of you people: don’t be nothing but a hound dog, always crying all the time, okay? I mean, people need some encouragement besides you.
Christian people who are now lying — pastors are lying and saying they have mental health issues, and they have sin issues. See, you keep on sinning against God and trying to promote yourself and be proud and stubborn — well, then you’re going to have mental health issues. You’re going to feel guilty all of the time, because you are a hypocrite, a phony, and a fake. Okay? So thank you, Daniella (Danni) Whyte, who has always been an upbeat, sunshiny Christian child, teenager, and grown-up. Yes siree. Wish everybody had a daughter like I have, Daniella (Danni) Whyte, who wrote this book when she was 16. You can buy this book. She has not asked me to promote her book. She wouldn’t do so. She’s not even into that. And God has blessed her richly. But I would encourage you to buy this book for yourself, and be upbeat and positive, and be grateful and be thankful to God every day of your life.
The Message: Both Sides Have Failed
Now, we have a message today, bouncing from last night’s Gospel Light House of Prayer International Wednesday night prayer service, that is a little bit different than what we’ve been preaching on, but I think it is apropos. And so I want to preach in your hearing today: Both sides of the church have failed God, Jesus Christ, and America. Three things both the white conservative evangelical and the black progressive evangelical churches must do now — for their own good and for the good of this nation. Deacon Moab, glory be to God. For they have both been courting Caesar — how both sides of the church traded the prophet’s mantle for a seat at the table. Back to the basics: prayer, love, and the Great Commission. What both sides of the church must do now.
And if you’re wondering who I’m talking to, here are their leaders. On the conservative evangelical, the white conservative evangelical side, I’m talking to Robert Jeffress, Franklin Graham, Jack Graham — and if Paula White was even worthy to mention, her name would be in that number. But she has been a total disaster, and everybody knows it. And these three guys that I just mentioned, they know it. Don’t just blame Trump — blame the so-called Trump religious, Christian, evangelical rather, advisors. Okay? And on the other side, Al Sharpton, Jamal Bryant, and Freddie Haynes. Don’t just blame President Obama. And I could throw in on this other side, Andy Stanley. What a disaster has happened from these people advising and being sycophants for these presidents. I said it yesterday, and I’ll say it again: that Barack Obama is the de facto head of the black church, and everybody knows it. And I do not fear any successful contradiction. It’s amazing how people get caught up in men. And President Trump is the de facto leader of the white conservative evangelical church.
The Key Verses
So let’s go to the Holy Scriptures. Mr. DeRoz, good to see you. Blinky, good to see you. Melinda, good to see you. Alex McKnight. Deacon Karamba. Deacon Moab is anchoring, as he normally does, as the chief deacon. And that’s on Bigo Live. On TikTok, Judy is here. Wright is here. Sister Bliss is on Substack, as she was with a friend last night. Zander. And we thank God for everybody here today. Jamal is back with us, with over 2,300 with us at this time.
Okay, so let’s read a few verses to give us the foundation of this sermon. Matthew chapter 22, verses 35 to 40 is one. But before that, allow me to read Matthew 21:13. Jesus said unto them, “It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer, but ye have made it a den of thieves.” Now, I am an ordained Baptist preacher, but God put in my heart years ago to name our church the Gospel Light House of Prayer International. And that’s what it is. We’re going to pray here, first and foremost. And then, ladies and gentlemen — evidently these preachers that I just mentioned, and others, have forgotten what Jesus Christ said. They believe it’s a house of politics, not a house of prayer. Okay? Jesus said His house will be the house of prayer, not the house of politics.
Then Matthew 22:35–40. Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked Him a question, tempting Him, and saying, “Master, which is the great commandment in the law?” Jesus said unto him, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart” — amen, somebody — “and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Basically, Jesus is saying you can summarize the entire Old Testament with these.
And then finally, for the reading, Matthew 28, verses 19 and 20. “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.” And somebody ought to join Jesus Christ in saying amen, right where you are.
Dr. Oswald Chambers wrote in his book, My Utmost for His Highest — a very popular and famous devotional book; this was the key devotional book way back in the ’40s, ’50s, and ’60s — “Prayer does not fit us for the greater work. Prayer is the greater work.” And don’t you forget it. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. wrote that the church must be reminded that it is not the master or the servant of the state, but rather the conscience of the state. Very wise words. Mia Claire, God bless you for your gifts to God in Jesus Christ. Herman Wilson and everybody, we thank God for you.
Let Us Pray
Shall we pray? Holy Father God in heaven, I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ: bless and anoint the reading of Your holy Word to everybody’s heart, mind, soul, and spirit — Reginald, Jack, Even, Herman Wilson, Mia Claire, Sister Bliss, Deacon Moab, Deacon Karamba. I do pray, Lord, that Your Holy Ghost would fall upon these people. I pray this morning for the salvation, and spiritual, family and life, financial and material protection and provision blessings upon everybody here, everybody who comes here on a regular basis. Save those who are lost, revive those who are saved, heal those who are sick, comfort those who are grieving and mourning around the world. Help us, Lord. Help Mario, and help me, and help Celie, and help Marie, and help Reginald, and everybody. Help us to be more concerned about other people and not just we ourselves. Help Mrs. Whyte to be that way. I pray for her true salvation. Open her blinded eyes and unstop her deaf ears. And Lord, help her to believe in You, Lord Jesus Christ, and then fill her with Your Holy Spirit and change her from the inside out, as You do people who truly believe in You. And Holy Father God, cast out the devil and the demons of hell out of Meriqua Whyte’s life, for her own good. And Lord, cast out the devil and the demons of hell from her mother and siblings and family members, my mother and siblings and family members. And Lord, everyone, all of my offspring — if they have been tainted by the older family members, that You would drive out those demonic spirits and generational curses. And I pray the same for Deacon Moab and his family. Give us all sweet and powerful victory over the world, the flesh, and the devil. In Jesus Christ’s name I pray, and for His sake. Amen.
Both Sides Climbed into Bed with Political Power
And so, beloved, again I come this early afternoon in the Happy Thanksgiving Thursday service — yes, with a message on prayer, but a different kind of message this time around, as God laid it upon my heart when I was going to preach the original series that I was preaching, and have been preaching for almost 20 weeks, I believe. And so I come today with a word for all of us. I’m talking to the white and black conservative evangelical church. I’m talking to the black and white progressive evangelical church. And I am not here to take one side apart against the other. I’m here because both sides have done the same foolishness, the same evil. Both sides climbed into bed with government and political power. They have. And I believe many of them did it for money’s sake, and prestige’s sake, and wanting to be somebody. And being the pastor of Podunk First Baptist Church was not good enough for them. Both sides traded the prophet’s mantle for a seat at the table. And while we were busy courting Caesar, the nation we said we loved so much went to pieces under our watch.
One side said, “If we just get the right judges on the Supreme Court, and the right president in the White House, we’ll save America.” The other side said, “If we just get the right programs and the right policies, we’ll save America.” But neither side remembered that the Bible says, “Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it.” Jesus did not say, “My kingdom is of this world.” He said, “My kingdom is not of this world.” Paul said, “For our conversation is in heaven” — not in Congress, Pastor Freddie Haynes. Philippians 3:20 — our citizenship, our home, our allegiance. Robert Jeffress, our citizenship, our home, our allegiance is above, in heaven.
And so today, I want to point both sides back to three basic things the Lord Jesus Christ told His church to do. Neither side will be shocked at what I say, because they’ve heard me say this for almost 20 years. So these things are not new at all. And they are not complicated. If you’re looking for something fancy, if you’re looking for something erudite, if you’re looking for something profound, you’re in the wrong place. Because, see, much of the Christian life is not about being profound; it’s about being obedient. Daily obedience, in the words of Mrs. Ann Thompson, the wife of Dr. Elijah Thompson, is the key. But we have neglected them, these principles, and the nation is paying for it today.
As I said before, don’t just blame Obama. Don’t just blame Biden. Don’t just blame Trump. The sweet, white, conservative, evangelical church is to blame for the mess we’re in today, and so is the sweet, black, progressive evangelical church. Both of them have failed God, have failed Jesus Christ, and have failed the government of America, the U.S. government, and they have failed America. And so today, I want to try once again to point both sides back to three basic things the Lord Jesus Christ told His church to do. They’re not new. They’re not complicated. But we have neglected them. We have refused to obey them. And the nation is paying for it today.
Number One: Pivot Back to Prayer
Number one: pivot back to prayer. Pivot back to the prayer closet. Stop lying. Stop taking bribes. Stop politicking. And focus back on God, and get back in your prayer closet, because you can do great work in your prayer closet, and way more work than what you’ve done in the political chambers. “My house,” Jesus Christ said, “shall be called the house of prayer.” This is point number one. And Sister Aurora is with us. And we thank You, Lord, for Sister Aurora being with us again today.
Jesus Christ said, “My house shall be called the house of prayer.” And said unto them, “It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer, but ye have made it a den of thieves.” And I would add today, you have made it — you sweet evangelical churches, both conservative and progressive — a den of politicians, of lying politicians. And that’s why both sides have failed. And yes, a den of thieves, as Jesus Christ said, it still stands today.
Beloved, when Jesus walked into the temple, He found it full of business. It was full of buying — Sister Aurora, Zach — buying and selling, money changing, and deal making. It was busy, crowded, and profitable, but it was not praying. Jesus turned over the tables of the money changers. I believe, beloved, if Jesus walked into many of our sweet evangelical churches, both black and white today, conservative and progressive alike, He would find tables to turn over. And I believe He would turn over the pews, with the hypocritical people sitting in there. He wouldn’t find money changers. He’d find political tables. He’d find the Democrat table, and the Republican table, and the Trump table, and the Obama table, and the Biden table. He’d find campaign tables. He’d find tables where preachers trade their pulpits for access, for photo opportunities, trying to be somebody, so they can go back to the church and brag and say they were at the White House — photo opportunities, for a phone call from the rich and powerful.
Jesus quoted Isaiah 56:7, and notice what He did not say. He did not say, “My house shall be called a house of politics” — you hypocrites, you Pharisees and you Sadducees, you money-grubbing preachers. He did not say a house of protest. By the way, we really don’t need any more of that today. Is America perfect? No. Has she ever been perfect? No. Will she ever be perfect? No. But all I can say to you is, I think having a governor, a black female governor in a Deep South state like the state of Georgia — she was not voted in just by black people. No sir, and no ma’am. Some white folks down in the country voted her in too. And then to have a white president, who has been accused of being a racist, line things up, and that a young black man, younger than him, use his name and use his influence to become the first black governor of the deepest of the Deep South states, Florida, right next to Georgia — to become the first black governor of the state of Georgia. I think, contrary to some of you racist, race-baiters, black and white, always trying to make it about race, I think we are doing pretty good. From what I understand now, we have six or seven black governors in the Deep South now, a black senator out of the state of Mississippi. And your parties don’t mean anything to me. I’m just stating some facts here.
And by the way, I’ll be doing an article here soon, and I may preach on it. I have written about it before, and I have preached on it before. But if a civil war takes place, it won’t be caused on the presidential level. I assure you that if a civil war breaks out between the races, it’s going to start in the white church, the white Christian national church, and in the black progressive church. That’s right. I’m predicting: if a race riot takes place, or a race-based civil war takes place, it is rooted in the white church and the black church. So you people need to cool your heels, man, and stop this foolishness. And I have no fear of successful contradictions, so make sure you bring receipts to deny what I’m saying.
I told — I call them pastor, because I don’t call anybody reverend — I told Pastor Al Sharpton in an article, regarding a recent event, I said, “Now, don’t listen to Obama. Don’t take heed to Obama and his crowd. Their way of handling everything is to start a protest in the streets and to pay the protesters.” I said, regarding this young man here who drowned, “Don’t push that, because it’s going to cause many people to get killed.” And then they threatened to sue him as well, which I didn’t think they were going to do. But I told them that. We don’t need that anymore. What are you talking about? We have a black female governor of the state of Georgia. We now have a Hispanic woman as governor of the great state of Texas. And then we have a young black man who is the governor of the state of Florida. And there’s a God somewhere. Okay? So let’s go ahead, you white nationalists and you black nationalists in the church, let’s cut the foolishness out. There’s not going to be a race war, even though some ninjas on both sides, black and white, want one. And that’s not going to solve anything in America. Okay, so it’s not about that. If we have a civil war, it’s going to be on the issues of the abomination of homosexuality, transgenderism, the destruction of the traditional family. Someone said the other day that when these folks who just were voted in get through with you, we’ll have polyamory families and threesomes and foursomes and everything else. Okay? Not a house of protest. We don’t need that. Or a house of voter guides, or a house of party platforms and talking points. Jesus Christ said, “My house shall be called the house of prayer.”
And what these preachers that I have mentioned, who have — I believe — committed gross sins against God, ought to do, to show a point of repentance in their own lives and what ought to take place in the country — they’re not going to do it. I dare them to do it. I dare Franklin Graham to call Al Sharpton. I dare Robert Jeffress to call Jamal Bryant. I dare Freddie Haynes to call Jack Graham — they live in the same town — and just say to each other, “Let’s gather together, and let’s lead our churches together in prayer for this country — for being partisans and politician pimps, and how we’ve gotten rich off of our playing politics. Let’s confess our sins and repent ourselves, and encourage our people to do the same, and to encourage them to forgive us for leading them and the nation down this evil, wicked road.”
“Men ought always to pray, and not to faint.” “Men ought always to pray, and not to faint.” Jesus Christ spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint — Luke 18:1. The Greek word for faint there means to lose heart. And evidently, many have fainted regarding prayer. They have quit praying, and they have gone to politics. And look what has happened to America. The Greek word for faint there means to lose heart, to give up, to grow weary and quit. And here’s the truth, church: when we stopped praying, we started fainting. We started losing heart. And when we started fainting, we ran to Washington for the strength we should have gotten on our knees from God Almighty, and the courage and the bravery. See, it takes courage and bravery to stand on faith in God alone and not kowtow to presidents and kings, like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. had, and some of his other preacher leaders.
Like the courage of Dr. Billy Graham — Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s twin, used by God, both of them — who took down the ropes of the segregated South. Billy Graham said, “I’m preaching the Gospel. Take those ropes down — or I won’t preach.” And then everybody sat together. He did that in the South. When they jailed Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., guess who bailed him out? Dr. Billy Graham. And both of them deserve a statue on the Mall, because America wouldn’t be America without these two prophets. Never ran for president, never ran for office. They knew where the power was. And the presidents and the leaders of this country, called America, and of the world kowtowed to them and bowed to them. And they didn’t bow to the presidents. If you can watch some of the video of how an old country boy like Billy Graham would walk into the White House — he walked into the White House like he owned the White House. Dr. King was more humble, more humble-looking, but Dr. King, he knew where the power was. And he made sure that the presidents understood where the power was. They were true prophets. Prophets understand that. Prophets understand that the power is not with the king or the president. The power is with the prophet, under God’s authority. We tell the presidents what to do.
Why would you become a servant of a president and a sycophant preacher, huddling with a president regarding his strategy, which comes from hell? Obama’s strategy is hellacious, and has not helped black people or white people or nobody else. The only somebody President Obama helped and freed were the homosexuals and the sodomites and the gays and the LGBTs. And what kind of hell that has wrought in this country! Look at what kind of hell that has wrought in this country. Okay? Then President Trump, instead of fighting Obama and Biden on that point, he joined them. He has perpetuated this foolishness, and led the weak, anemic, sweet evangelical leaders to accept it. Billy Graham is turning over in his grave over his son, not saying anything publicly about that and saying, “No, we cannot do that. We cannot follow you in doing that. We want you to overturn what Obama and Biden did.”
And guess what, Aurora James? Guess what, George Sullivan? Guess what, Rosa? Guess what, TS? Guess what, Dillon? Because I warned President Trump multiple times: “You’re hiring a Treasury Secretary, a man who is married to a man, with children? God forbid. And you’re going to suffer for it.” I warned him not to do that. He did it anyway. I warned him three or four times. And so this shellacking comes from that. Why? Because there’s no difference between the Republicans and the Democrats on the most important issue.
God’s prescription for a nation has never changed. Oh, you may have heard about it, and it may be old hat to you, but it has never changed. See, just because you grow familiar with what God said, that does not mean it’s ineffective. It’s going to be whatever God says it’s going to be. “If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face” — Deacon Karamba — “and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” Ain’t nothing else happening until that’s done, ladies and gentlemen. You say, “Preacher, you make me mad.” I can’t help that. I’m telling you the truth.
This is what needs to happen to both sides of the church, because both sides of the church have failed God, Jesus Christ, the government of the U.S., the U.S. government, and America. They traded in their prophet’s mantle to have access with political leaders, and to have money from political leaders. They’ve been taught to do this even by some older evangelicals, both white and black. They were taught that if you get involved in politics as a preacher, you can make a lot of money, and you can get some prestige as well, for a little while, until they need you again. Not knowing that the Trilateral Commission — the evangelical side of the Trilateral Commission, and the Evangelical Department of the Illuminati — they were behind it. And all of the preachers suffer when they take the money and run, when they take the social media numbers and run, because these people, these demon-controlled people, they want you to submit 100%. And some of them cannot do that. When these people started fainting, they ran to Washington for the strength we should have gotten on our knees before God.
And God’s prescription again is, “If My people, which are called by My name” — Mrs. Whyte — “shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” This is the solution, Franklin Graham. This is the solution, Robert Jeffress. This is the solution, Jack Graham. All of you have egg on your faces. And you too, Paula White. What a disaster. Lord have mercy. And Jezebel, leading these godly men down the primrose road to hell. This is what’s needed, Pastor Al Sharpton. This is what is needed, Pastor Jamal Bryant. This is what is needed, Pastor Freddie Haynes. What? “If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
Freddie Haynes, you should have left that young lady in Congress so that she could be the representative, and you remain her pastor. You need to be leading your church in prayer, reading the Bible, and confessing sin and repentance. Same for the senator, the preacher from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s church. That’s what you all ought to be doing. The command for both of you, and all of us as preachers, is that we need to give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the Word, not politicking and rubbing shoulders with pedophile government leaders. Notice that it doesn’t say “if the government”; it doesn’t say “if the other party”; it says “if My people.” The healing of the land starts in the house of God, on its knees.
Jesus Christ said, ask, seek, and knock. And I’m a living witness that this program works. “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” We have been asking the wrong people. We have been seeking the wrong kingdom, Sister Bliss. We have been knocking on the wrong doors — the doors of the White House, the state house, the courthouse, and in many cases, the outhouse. Meanwhile, the door of heaven stands open, and the throne of grace is waiting. And that’s for sure, sure. Both sides of the church need to come home to the prayer meeting. The Wednesday night prayer meeting is the most neglected service in America. We’ll pack the house for a political rally or for some lying man or woman, but we can’t get 10 people to pray on a Wednesday night. Lord have mercy. Church, it is time to pivot back to the prayer closet. It’s time for us to pray, Brother Mark, as we used to pray, and as the old saints used to say, pray through.
A Prayer for the Preachers
Shall we pray right now? Holy Father God, I pray in the holy name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Lord, I pray that Your preachers will hear this message, confess their sins, and repent of their evil and foolishness, leading us to destruction in America, and almost to the door of World War III. Rebuke and bind the devil, his demons, and his host from these preachers, and from their families, and from their churches. And have the power of Your Holy Spirit to fall upon them. And Lord, revive us again, restore us again, renew us again. In Jesus Christ’s name, I pray that You’ll save those who are lost and revive those who are saved. In Jesus Christ’s name we pray, and for His sake. Amen.
The Gospel Invitation
Now, dear friend of mine, if you are with us today and you have never experienced the free pardon of your sins by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, do so today. I urge you strongly to get saved from the burning hell and the lake of fire today, because that’s where you’re going if you do not know Jesus Christ, if you have not believed in Jesus Christ as your Savior. Understand that we are all wicked, evil sinners, and have done evil and wickedly in God’s sight throughout our lives. Some of us have sinned so much we can’t even remember our sins. But God does. Just confess them. Admit you have sinned against God, that you’ve broken His Ten Commandments, and ask Him to forgive you. And then number two, understand that you’re going to die, I’m going to die, everybody is going to die. Why? We die because of our sins, our faults, and our failures. And thirdly, if you die rejecting Jesus Christ, you will die and go to the burning hell immediately. Judgment comes. And then into the lake of fire you go. The Bible says all liars shall have their part in the lake of fire. And that pretty much includes everybody, if they do not believe in the Lord Jesus Christ with all of their hearts and minds.
And so follow me in the sinner’s prayer, believing in your heart that Jesus Christ suffered, bled and died on the cross for your sins, was buried, and rose on the third day. Follow me in the sinner’s prayer, if you want to get saved from the burning hell. Nobody ever taught me that plainly when I was growing up. So here is your opportunity.
“Holy Father God, have mercy and grace upon my soul. Please forgive me of all of my sins, my failures, and my faults, as I now believe in You, Lord Jesus Christ, that You died for my sins, was buried, and rose from the dead by Your own power. Please come into my heart and into my spirit, and save my soul from the burning hell and from my sins. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Help me to repent of all of my sins. Help me to change. And help me to follow You in the newness of life. In Jesus Christ’s name I pray, and for His sake. Amen.”
Thank you. Dear friend of mine, if you believed in your heart in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you called upon the name of the Lord — for the Bible says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” — if you did that in sincerity, congratulations, my dear friend, for doing the most important thing in life, and that is believing in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior. Congratulations for doing the most important thing in life.
Now, here are a few things that you need to start doing. These five things will help you grow in the faith. These are your next steps. Number one, get baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Number two, pray every day, three times a day, if not more. Number three, read the Bible every day, along with prayer. And number four, Jesus Christ said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” Number five, be a witness for the Lord. “Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel,” by any means necessary.
God bless you, dear friends. Until next time, pray for me as I pray for thee. And remember the motto of the Marines, Semper Fidelis: be always faithful to the Lord. And remember the motto of the Space Force and the Air Force, Semper Supra: always above. Keep your heart and mind stayed on the Lord above, and He’ll keep you in perfect peace. God loves you, Jesus Christ loves you, and I love you in the Lord with God’s agape love, everybody. And so, ladies and gentlemen, we’ll see you next time. Meditate on the Word throughout this day. God bless you.

Daniel Whyte III is the president of the over-40-year-old Gospel Light Evangelistic Society International and the over-37-year-old Gospel Light House of Prayer International. He is known worldwide as the prophet who predicted the Coronavirus Plague more than 10 years before it hit, in recorded preaching and writing. God also led him to guide thousands through the Coronavirus Plague that killed over 20 million people because of the sins in the Judas-Jezebel-Laodicean church.
Daniel Whyte III’s greatest blessing in this life is his “quiver full” of 10 children—Daniella (Danni), Daniel IV, Danita Evangeline, Danae Mary-Louise, Daniqua Grace, Danyel Ezekiel, Danyelle Elizabeth Breedlove, Danielle Tekeela, Duran-Daniel, and the first Daniel IV (deceased and in heaven with the Lord)—along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Daniel Whyte III has been unblissfully but sexually satisfyingly married to his first and only wife, Meriqua Whyte of Christiana, Jamaica, for over 37 years since December 19, 1987. Jesus Christ said: “And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.” Even though many evangelicals, charismatics, and Protestants try to act as if these words of Jesus Christ are not a reality in our modern Christianity—primarily because of the Satanic-driven prosperity gospel and an over-positive philosophy, which is a lie not based in reality or biblical truth—the words of Jesus Christ are true for every person who preaches the Gospel. The outcomes of the Gospel are a changed life and opposition from family, lukewarm Christians, Laodicean-Judas pastors and churches, the world, and the devil. This is a reality in our present evil world.
While Daniel Whyte III thoroughly enjoys his married life because he did not allow his wife to have her way at any point and was and is solidly, and biblically the head of his household throughout the marriage—often quoting Joshua, “As for me and my house, we’re going to serve the Lord” “up in here!”—and because his wife never failed in the very important area of sex, which he got married for in the first place to avoid sinning against God, he has especially enjoyed the privilege and joy of raising his children in the Lord virtually by himself. He served the Lord with them every day of their lives, from the time they were born until they graduated from college, became adults, and moved on.
However, his wife, Meriqua Whyte—motivated by Satan, with a Pharaoh-style pride mixed with the well-known female Jamaican-style pride, stubbornness, rebelliousness, and witchcraft—has been his greatest Judas enemy in the world and has been what Paul spoke of: a “messenger of Satan” and a “thorn in the flesh.” Amazingly, and by the grace of God, that Satanic evil opposition has spurred Daniel Whyte III on to preach the Gospel probably more times than any man on record. God has honored him because he did not “hearken to the voice of his wife.” Whyte tells other Christian men to only hearken to the voice of God and Jesus Christ—not to their wives, as so many thousands of church men have been taught by pastors and other older men throughout the years. Remember, we are in this worldwide, multi-generational mess because Adam hearkened to the voice of his wife and not to the voice of God.
Before they were married, Daniel Whyte III told his wife Meriqua Whyte that they would not do family life as her parents did, because their married life was hellacious and ended in divorce, as did some of her other family members, including the aunt she was living with. He also told his wife they would not do family life as his parents did, because it was also hellacious and out of order since his mother was the head of the household, not his father. But thanks be to God, they never got a divorce. Whyte told his wife before they got married that they were going to do it God’s way according to Ephesians chapters 5 and 6, or no way at all. And then he asked his wife, “Are you willing to do marriage God’s way according to Ephesians chapters 5 and 6?” And she said yes. Whyte told her before they got married that if she did not live up to her end of the deal, all bets were off.
Because Daniel Whyte III’s wife, Meriqua Whyte, was so proud, unsubmissive, stubborn, and rebellious after they got married, God led him to read Ephesians chapters 5 and 6 every day in their family devotions throughout their marriage. In the first year of their marriage, Daniel Whyte III also gave his wife a list of verses for women from the Word of God for her to read, which she still reads to this day. He also bought her many books to read to help her be the wife God wanted her to be.
Whyte realized early in the marriage that his wife was not a born-again, saved person, even though she lied and said she was before they got married. After over 37 years of marriage, she is still not saved, never bearing any fruit of a saved person, to the point of not even wanting to tell her children, “I love you,” and not wanting to hug them when they were little children, even after her husband told her to do so. She also hated the daily family devotions that her husband led and tried to hinder them. She also demonically hated and tried to hinder every Gospel preaching service to this very day.
However, only by the grace of God, they are still married, and despite the devil constantly working through his wife to try to hinder him from preaching the Word of God, he is still preaching the Gospel and the Word of God live and on-demand. His ministry reaches over 148,800 people per month with over 21,000 unique views per month, reaching 149 countries, preaching the Gospel and the Word of God in 2 to 3 services a day, 7 days a week. Glory be to God!
Mrs. Meriqua Whyte’s Apology to her Husband and Their 7 Children for not Being a Biblical Wife or Mother
Mrs. Meriqua Whyte, the Wife of Daniel Whyte III, Gave him the Best Father’s Day Gift Ever About 10 Years Ago When She Unexpectedly and Voluntarily Apologized for the First Time to Him and Their 7 Children for Not Being the Wife, Mother, and Christian Example of the Woman She Should Have Been Over the Past 37 Years of Marriage.
Here is what Mrs. Meriqua Whyte wrote ten years ago after verbally apologizing to the entire family on Father’s Day, right before church service:
Over thirty years of marriage. Over thirty years of ups and downs. Over thirty years of trying to make our problems a personal thing between my husband and me. Thankfully, he did not allow me to do that and kept telling me it was between God and me—over thirty years of acting on my feelings and not on what the Bible says. Over thirty years of refusing to obey God’s simple command to a wife—to be obedient to your husband in all things. Over thirty years of disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, lying, and dishonesty, all rooted in pride. Over thirty years of simply not choosing to mature as a Christian.
God has been dealing with me for over thirty years now about changing my attitude and behavior as a wife, which has manifested itself in disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, lying, dishonesty, having an ungodly attitude and spirit, and simply not being the wife, mother, or example of a Christian woman that I should have been throughout the years. (By the way, for those of you who may be thinking that my disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, lying, and dishonesty have resulted in adultery, I will say here that I have never committed any adultery or had sex with another man besides my husband, Daniel Whyte III, since I was born.)
God kept telling me I needed to stop my rebellious and stubborn behavior, apologize to my husband and children, and get my heart right with him, my husband, and my children. He sent others my way to tell me how to behave:
My husband, but I didn’t want to hear it from him.
Other Christian women speakers
Other preachers
Books and other materials, but I would not take heed.
I knew what to do, but I chose not to do it. The devil had me thinking and believing—as he is having a lot of wives and mothers think and believe—that your relationship with your husband and how you respond to him, whether positive or negative, will not affect your relationship with your children or your relationship with God. I say without hesitation that this is one of the devil’s lies, and sad to say, many wives and mothers are falling for this lie.
Another lie of the devil that Christian wives are falling for is that you can still have a strong relationship with God without being submissive to your husband. Lie! Lie! Lie! There is no truth to this. I know because I have experienced this and am still experiencing it as I go through this breaking process, which is not happening overnight.
Even throughout my years of rebelliousness, stubbornness, and pride, I still kept praying the prayer I used to pray daily before I got married: “Lord, make me be exactly what You want me to be. Lord, break, make, and mold me into what You want me to be.” Well, God took that prayer seriously, and once you accept Him, He will begin the breaking process. It’s up to us how long that breaking process will take. For me, sad to say, it has taken over 30 years, and the breaking is not complete. In what way is God breaking me down right now? Well, our children have grown up. The three oldest have gone through and are still going through college, have gotten their degrees, and some are working on their second, third, and fourth degrees, launching their careers and moving out. God slapped me into reality and truly intensified the breaking process. My husband told me before our first child was born, and repeatedly while the children were young, that my job was to love our children and make positive memories with them, and that if I did that, I would have a wonderful relationship with them as adults in the time to come. Well, I disobeyed God and my husband, who did not let up on his duties. And he has a wonderful relationship with our children, even the girls, and I don’t. However, God led me to finally break down the day before Father’s Day, and while I was helping my husband get dressed to preach, I asked him if I could apologize to him and the entire family. That’s the first time I ever did that on my own. Throughout the years, he has always told me that I needed to get my heart right with God, him, and my children; otherwise, I would never have the joy and peace of the Lord in my life. However, I kept on lying and denying that I was the problem.
Here is what I said to my husband and children on Saturday afternoon, June 17, 2017, the day before Father’s Day. My husband told the entire family that this was the best Father’s Day gift I have ever given to him:
“Daddy, children, I apologize for not being the wife, mother, and example of a Christian woman I should have been throughout the years. I have shown nothing but pride, disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, and a bad attitude and spirit toward God and my husband in front of you. My disobedience and rebelliousness have caused much unnecessary unrest and upheaval in the family. As my husband told me, things could have gone much better if I had obeyed God’s word from the beginning. Please accept my apology, and I am asking you to forgive me.”
I brought the diminishing of peace and joy in my life on myself throughout the years. Not having a proper relationship with God, my husband, and my children, I brought on myself—all because I chose the disobedient route. My number one desire is to live a life of peace—peace with God, my husband, and my children. I have learned that peace will not come as long as I live in disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, and pride.
I will end this with two notes: (1) Happy Father’s Day to my husband: you have been a great husband and father. (2) Happy Children’s Day to my children: You all have been great children. I have no complaints whatsoever against my husband and, of course, my children; you have never been at fault. My bad behavior is all on me, and I’m sorry I put you through this. May God bless your lives, and I love you.
Ephesians 5:22 – 6:20 (KJV)
Below is the passage in the Bible that Daniel Whyte III read in their family devotions every day for decades. It covers the biblical duties of the husband, the wife, and the children, and includes how to fight the devil, who seeks to destroy the family.
22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
6 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
2 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;
3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;
6 Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;
7 With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:
8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.
9 And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
The Gospel in a Nutshell
If you were to die today, where would you go: Heaven or Hell? If you’re not sure, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.”
Jesus Christ said the most important words ever spoken in the history of the world when He said, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

The Most Important Question in the World: Have You Been Twice Born?
This is the “Chief of sinners,” Daniel Whyte III, president of Gospel Light Society International, with the Gospel Light Minute X Podcast #447, titled “The Big Question.” I’m here to remind you of what the Bible says: that “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” like you and me.
“Have You Been Born Again?”
The question is not, “Have you joined a church?” or “Are you trying to do your best?” or “Do you have religion?” but, “Are you twice-born?” Jesus Christ said in John 3:3, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
We enter the physical world by birth. Spiritual life, likewise, is entered with a birth. We become members of a human family by birth; we become members of the family of God by birth, by being “born again.” There is no other way to get into the human family except by birth, and there is no other way to get into God’s family except by the new birth. Neither education, nor cultivation, nor reformation, nor “turning over a new leaf,” will accomplish this. What is needed is not a new “leaf” but a new “life”! “Ye must be born again” (John 3:7).
A New Nature Needed
By physical birth, we become partakers of human nature; by being born again, we become “partakers of the divine nature.” A Christian is the product of a divine “begetting.” The second birth is not an improvement of the old nature; it is the imparting of an entirely new nature. The old nature is hopelessly corrupt and incapable of ever being made fit for His presence. The new birth requires a creative act of the Holy Spirit. “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.”
Not “Trying” But “Trusting”
“Trying to follow Christ” is not Christianity. Christianity is not imitation of Christ; it is the indwelling of Christ. Christianity is not trying to do anything. It is trusting Christ, who has done it all! He has “finished the work,” and there is nothing left to do but simply to receive and trust Him. He shed His precious blood on the cross, and the work is all done once and forever! Cease trying and begin trusting! Believers will progressively become more and more like Christ, but by His power, not their own.
What Must I Do To Be Saved?
“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.” The Bible says in 1 John 5:1, “Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God.” The Bible states in John 1:12-13, “As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”
You are born again; you become a Christian by trusting a Person—receiving a Person. The very moment you do this, the Lord Jesus Christ comes in, and life begins!
What Is Meant By “Believe”?
To “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ” means more than simply believing the historic facts concerning Him. Intellectual belief about Christ is not sufficient. The belief that brings salvation must be “with the heart,” that is, with the whole being. This belief also includes repentance: “Repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.” The Bible states in Acts 17:30, “God… now commandeth all men everywhere to repent.”
The faith which saves, then, includes the necessity to repent and to receive Christ as Savior and Lord, to rest upon Him alone for salvation. It means to trust Him so utterly and completely that, if He should fail, there would be no hope at all!
May I Know That I Am Born Again?
This is an important question. We know that we are born again by the testimony of God’s Word. God says in John 5:24, “He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” Have you believed on the Lord Jesus Christ as explained by God’s Word? If so, then you are saved; you are “born again,”; you have “passed from death unto life.” God says so! Take God at His Word, and go on your way rejoicing!
One Final Word
You may “belong to a church,” you may be “trying to do the best you can,” you may be “striving to live right.” Your outward life may be the model of moral correctness, and you may be looked up to, honored, revered, and respected. Yet, if you have not been “born again,” you are just as lost as if you had never heard of Christ. Yes, you may teach in the Sunday school, read the Bible, sing, shout, “feel happy,” and all the rest—but if you have never been “born again,” you are still in your sins and a stranger to the Lord Jesus Christ.
If you want to be saved from the wrath to come and from an eternity in Hell, and if you believe that Jesus Christ suffered, bled, and died on the cross for your sins, was buried, and rose again from the dead, and you are willing to trust Jesus Christ with all of your heart so you can go to Heaven, please pray with me what is called the sinner’s prayer:
Holy Father God, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I admit that I have sinned against You and that I have broken Your Ten Commandments. I have lied before. I have stolen things before. I have lusted after people and things before. I have dishonored and disobeyed my parents. I have taken Your holy Name in vain. For Jesus Christ’s sake, please have mercy and grace upon my soul and forgive me of all of my sins, my failures, and my faults. As I now believe in Your Holy Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe that He suffered, bled, and died on the cross for my sins, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart, save my soul, and change my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me repent of my past sins. Help me turn from my old, evil life and follow You into a new life. For it is in Your Name I pray. Amen.
