Turn in your Bibles to the Book of Revelation this morning. Praise the Lord, Sister Bliss. Glory be to God. Sister Bliss is wishing everybody a happy Sunday, and I wish everybody a happy Sunday as well, in a very real sense. Turn in your Bibles to the Book of Revelation—a new sermon in the long-running series we have been in for a while. It will continue for a while. It is about heaven in a very real sense, dealing with real people.
I must say, there is something going on. We all saw a man get shot on September 10th last year—a man by the name of Charlie Kirk was assassinated. But there is something strange going on in certain parts of the world. They do not recognize his death, and they even say that he never got shot in full view of the world. It is the strangest thing.
So, I want to preach in your hearing this morning, based upon the Word of God: “The Final Invitation.” The martyrs Daniqua Grace White, who died September the 10th, two years ago, and Charlie Kirk, who died on the same day one year later—the final invitation that martyrs Daniqua Grace White and Charlie Kirk RSVP’d to, and the invitation that you need to do the same. Write that down, Mrs. White—that latter part. You need to do this. This is an invitation, beloved, that you need to respond to.
Revelation chapter 22, verse 17: “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”
The phrase “RSVP,” ladies and gentlemen, stands for the French phrase Répondez s’il vous plaît, which means “please respond.” That is what God is saying to you. That is what God said to me. That is what God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit say to everybody: there is an open invitation. It has already been sent to you—it is called the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ made it happen. He is the Lamb of God who has taken away the sins of the world. Beloved, that is good news. You need to respond to this message. This is an eternal invitation. For if you don’t, you will be locked out of the marriage supper of the Lamb. You will be locked out of heaven.
The great Daniqua Grace White, my daughter, who was martyred two years ago on September the 10th, and the great Charlie Kirk—no matter what you feel about these people, no matter what you think about them, it doesn’t matter to them now, and it doesn’t matter to God. They belong to God. They died for the cause of Christ, wanting to continue to serve God in Christ, willing and ready to tell the truth about some things, and so they were killed.
Please respond to God, to Jesus, to the Holy Spirit, to the Word of God, to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. What will you do with Jesus Christ? Beloved, when you see it on an invitation, the host is asking you to reply and let them know if you will come to the event. It may be a wedding—that’s what it is used for most times. It may be a conference. It may be some other event. But they want to know ahead of time if you plan on being there. Don’t miss, by the way, the marriage supper of the Lamb.
Shall we pray?
Holy Father God, I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Lord, I praise You and I thank You that Your faithful people are here once again—Deacon Moab, Sister Bliss, and so many others—early on a Sunday morning. Lord, I pray for salvation and spiritual, family and life, financial and material, protection and provision, mental and physical blessings upon each and every one of us here gathered today.
Holy Father God, have mercy and grace upon each and every one of us who truly believe in You, Lord Jesus Christ. We have already responded. For Jesus Christ’s sake, though, at the same time, Lord, as Christian people, unfortunately sometimes we sin and we do things that are not pleasing in Your sight. For Jesus Christ’s sake, have mercy and grace, Lord, upon each and every one of us who are born again saved.
I pray for all of my children—Daniela Danny, Daniel, Danita, Danae, Daniqua, Daniel Ezekiel, Danielle Elizabeth, Danielle Tequila, Duran Daniel, Kwasia—all of my quiver full of children and grandchildren. And I pray, Lord, for Sister Bliss. I pray, Lord, for Deacon Moab. I pray, Lord, for Deacon Atkins—we pray for his healing. And Lord, we pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for Deacon Moab’s brother. As we prayed yesterday, we pray for Sister Bliss and her family. You will rebuke and bind the devil, his demons, and his hopes from each and every one of us and our families and our situations. Forgive us of our sins and wash our sins away from our hearts, our minds, our souls, and our spirits.
Deliver us, Lord, this morning from temptation, evil, and sin. Grant us, Lord, Your grace and Your strength and the power of Your Holy Spirit to love right, to live right, to think right, to do right, to act right, to do that which is pleasing in Your sight this morning and throughout this day. Lord, help us to be prayerful, sober-minded, vigilant, watchful, and obedient to You—whether we feel like it or not. Holy Father God, help us to pray without ceasing throughout this morning and throughout this day, whether we feel like it or not. Put a guard over our hearts, our minds, our tongues, attitudes, and temperaments, that we will not sin against You. Deliver us, Lord, from the snare of the devil.
Lord, I do pray that You will grant us Your grace and the power of Your Holy Spirit this morning and throughout this day on this Sunday to love right, to live right, to think right, to do right, to act right, and to do that which is pleasing in Your sight. Holy Father God, for Thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory—help us to remember that. Lord, I pray that You will help us all to humble ourselves and to pray and to seek Your face and to turn from our wicked ways and to repent of our wicked sins and to get back to You, our first love, Lord Jesus Christ.
I do pray, Holy Father God, for my wife of nearly 39 years, who is here with us this morning. Holy Father God, Mrs. Marika White—I do pray for her true and pure salvation. I pray, Holy Father God, that she would become a born-again one with a simple faith and belief in You. Help her to lay aside her Jamaican pride, her stubbornness, and rebelliousness against You. For I have reminded her that all of that is against You first and foremost. For we do not wrestle with flesh and blood; we are dealing with the devil, the knot of the devil, and the demons of hell, and the legions of demons that come down the pike from generations of satanic and demonic prideful activity in her family line and bloodline.
Lord, I pray that You will cast the devil and the demons of hell and the satanic, demonic spirit of Judas, Jezebel, Sanballat, and Tobias out of her—and not only out of her, but out of every family line. Lord, I come from a long line of whoremongers and whores and liars and manipulators. So Lord, I thank You for saving me by Your mercy and grace for over 46 years. I give You the glory, praise, and honor. I was once lost, but now I’m found. That’s the reason why I can tell when people are religious but lost, hypocrites, and phonies. Plus, I was raised in a hypocritical family—a family that acted like the Addams Family and the Monsters at home, but showed up in church on Sunday morning acting like the Brady Bunch, except for me—Flowers, the black sheep of the family.
But Lord, I do pray that You will help all religious people in my family and Marika White’s family—her mother, aunts, siblings, and family members who are still trying to stop me from preaching, trying to rob me of my social security because their daughter does not have social security because of her immigration situation. Holy Father God, I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ that You will cast the devil and the demons of hell out of her mother, aunts, siblings, and family members who would like to see me killed for no reason other than preaching Your holy gospel and not letting their daughter or them have their way.
Lord, I pray that You would bless and protect my children, Lord, from their evil, woke, demonic ways. For that’s what part of this sermon is about—how I believe they had a hand in the death of Daniqua Grace White. Lord, I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ that You would protect the rest of my children. For they were so love-starved from a female perspective; they never had a loving mother. So as soon as they were able to meet family members who were females, they no doubt wanted that female love from them, and sometimes that is very dangerous.
Holy Father God, I pray that You will bless and protect them and surround them and all of us with Your protection, a band of Your holy angels, and a wall of Your holy fire. Cover us and cleanse us in the holy and precious blood of Christ and make us, Lord, to be whiter than snow on the inside.
Holy Father God, we pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We pray for the salvation and the protection of the Israelites, the Palestinians, the Americans, the Iranians, the Chinese, the Taiwanese, the Ukrainians, the Russians, the Sudanese, and all people who are at war around the world. We pray, Lord, that You will cast the devil and the demons of hell out of all of these people who don’t believe in You. Lord, open their blinded eyes and unstop their deaf ears and save their souls. We plead the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Holy Father God, we pray that You would protect all of us as Christians from the thorns in the flesh people and from the messengers of Satan people who are surrounding our lives. We are all facing it; we are all dealing with it, for we live in perilous times. Lord, I do pray that You will deliver each and every one of us from all of our distresses and afflictions today—tribulations, troubles, trials, temptations, tests, and tensions.
Holy Father God, I do pray that You will deliver us this morning and throughout this day from all of our tribulations, troubles, trials, temptations, tests, and tensions. Give us Your strength from on high. By Your grace, being obedient to You, deliver us from all spiritual, mental, physical, emotional, family, financial, legal, student loan debt, student progress, problems, troubles, difficulties, and all debt.
Holy Father God, thank You for allowing things to be as well as they are. Thank You, Lord, for remembering mercy, love, and grace. Thank You, Lord, for allowing this service to go as smoothly as it has gone so far. But thank You for notifying me that the devil is going to attack. So Lord, help us to be prayerful, sober-minded, vigilant, and watchful, not only this morning but throughout this day.
Lord, I do know that some people are bored to tears with prayer, for I used to be before I got saved. But this is really just as important as the preaching of Your Word. In fact, Lord, fill me and everybody else here with the fullness and the power of Your Holy Spirit. For You said, “It is not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith the Lord.”
Again, thank You, Lord, for allowing things to be as well as they are, for they could be worse, and they should be worse because of how evil we all are all around the world. Lord, I do pray that You will prepare us, Lord, for good days and bad days. Prepare us, Lord, for celebrations and tribulations. Prepare us, Lord, for weddings and funerals. Prepare us, Lord, for life and death. Holy Father God, I pray that everything we do and say this morning and throughout this day will be done for Your glory, Your praise, and Your honor, and for the glory, praise, and honor of the Lord Jesus Christ. In Jesus Christ’s name we pray.
We pray for the millions of children who have been trafficked, exploited, raped, and molested across this country and around the globe. Holy Father God, only You know the children who have been molested and raped. We pray that You will save their souls and protect them going forward. Holy Father God, we pray that You would put a millstone around every pastor, every pastor’s wife, every so-called Christian leader and cast them into the sea, as You said. I pray that You will bring the children out victoriously for Your glory, Your praise, and Your honor.
Help all of us to prepare for the Fall Fast, the Gospelite Society International Fall Fast, as we continue to fast and pray for those children. Save that soul that’s near to hell, reclaim the backslidden, and revive the saved. In Jesus Christ’s name I pray and for His sake. Amen.
By way of introduction, ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, every book has a last word. Every letter has a closing line. When God Almighty finished writing His book—sixty-six books penned by some forty different men over 1,500 years, yet breathed out by one divine author, God Himself—He did not close it with a curse. He did not close it, Sister Bliss, with a threat. He did not slam the door, Deacon Moab, of Heaven shut and turn the lock. He left the door wide open, and He put an invitation on the doorpost.
Think of it, my beloved: the Bible opens in Genesis with man being driven out of paradise. Why? Because of our wicked, evil sins. I say “we” because we were there; we would have done the same thing, sad to say—with cherubim and a flaming sword barring the way back to the Tree of Life. But the Bible closes in Revelation with man being invited into paradise. You need to RSVP. You need to respond—with the way to the water of life thrown open and the word “Come” ringing like a church bell four times in a single verse.
What Adam lost in the Garden of Eden, Jesus Christ regained in the Garden of Gethsemane and then on the cross, when He suffered, bled, and died on the cross for you. That’s right—you. No matter how bad you are, Jesus Christ died on the cross for you. You may be a gangbanger. You may be a whoremonger like me. You may be a murderer on death row. You may be a whore, a prostitute selling your body that God gave you for money. You may be a liar—and God said about liars that every liar shall have their part in the lake of fire, and you need to believe that. You may be a thief. And you do know that sin kind of grows on each other: you may steal something and then lie about it, and then murder somebody because they know you’re lying about it. You don’t want them to testify. See, that’s the problem with sin. This is why God hates sin. God does not hate sin because He’s trying to ruin your fun. No, no, no. Yes, sin is pleasurable—there’s a wickedness in all of us where we like the sneakiness of sin, thinking that we’re getting over on somebody.
No matter what your sinful occupation is—producing pornography, watching pornography, reacting to pornography, doing things God never told you to do and never intended for you to do—in a single verse, what Adam lost in the garden, Jesus Christ regained in the garden of Gethsemane and on the cross of Calvary. He suffered, bled, and died on the cross for your sins and mine. The sword that barred the way was encased in the Savior’s own heart at Calvary, and now the way is open. Genesis 3 says, “Depart.” Revelation 22 says, “Come.” And somebody ought to say “Amen” right there.
This is the final invitation of the Bible. After this verse, there are only four more verses in all of Holy Scripture that God wrote by the power of the Holy Spirit: a warning about adding to or taking from the Holy Book, a promise that Jesus Christ is coming quickly, a prayer, and a benediction, Mrs. White. This is heaven’s last appeal to a lost world. I remind you today: the doctrine of heaven is not given to frighten us, but to draw us. God does not end His book shaking His fist. God ain’t mad at anybody. He ends it stretching out His hand.
Notice that the word “come” appears in this one verse again and again. In the Greek, the first two—erchomai is a better way to say it—are present imperatives. It is not a suggestion. It is not a hint. It is a standing, continuous invitation. A standing, continuous command and call: “Come.” That’s very powerful when you think about it. “Come.” Keep on coming. Come now. Heaven is not whispering; heaven is shouting and pleading: “Come.”
Brett, Amarons, Mario—everybody, ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus—there were 4,300 with us this morning. God is saying to each and every one of you: “Come.” Heaven is not whispering; heaven is commanding. Choose your choice. Heaven is pleading: “Come.” Because if you don’t come, you will go to the burning hell and the lake of fire.
There are three great truths in this final invitation, and I want you to see them today:
- The Cry of the Spirit and the Church
- The Condition of the Sinner
- The Freeness of the Gift
Point Number One, which will probably be the only point we get to today: I want you to notice with me, beloved, The Cry of the Spirit and the Church. D-Grind, so good to see you. Rick. And everybody else.
The Cry of the Spirit and the Church. Sister Bliss, the Holy Bible reads: “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come.” Beloved, notice, first of all, who is doing the calling. This is a duet before it is a doctrine. Two voices joined in one word. First, the Spirit—the Holy Spirit—says, “Come.” The Holy Spirit of God, that Somebody who’s tugging at your heart right now as I preach, tugging at your heart at times when you’re not in church, the Holy Spirit of God, the third person of the blessed Holy Trinity, is at this very hour moving upon the hearts of men and women.
Just as I told the people yesterday, several people took the service live. You know what I told them? I’ve said it before: you’re doing the work of evangelism when you do that. When you invite people to church, you’re doing the work of evangelism. If you have a little mailing list of emails of people that you love and care for, you don’t have to directly witness to them yourself; you can turn them over to the church. Just invite them very lightly. Don’t put any pressure, because people don’t like to be pressured—it’s just our sinful human nature. We don’t like to be told what to do. Just a light invitation, not every week, but maybe every three months. Just say something along the lines of, “Here’s a link.” You can give them a link to Substack, Big Olive, YouTube, Rumble, TikTok—and invite them to whatever location you want to go to at 7 o’clock on Sunday morning, and spend some time in church online, particularly since so many churches in the brick-and-mortar world have fallen apart with sin, evil, and corruption.
The Holy Ghost of God this very hour is moving, Deacon Moab, upon the hearts of men and women. All we need to do as Christians is just show up and do what Jesus commanded us to do: “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel.” God will do the rest. Jesus said in John 16:8 that when the Comforter is come, He will reprove the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. Every pang of conviction you have ever felt under preaching, every restless night when your sins rose up in your conscience and in your mind and in your spirit and in your soul—because your sin will come back and slap you in the face—be sure, my beloved, your sin will find you out. When you can’t rest because your sin is paying you back, you can’t get it out of your mind. How many of you tell the truth and shame the devil? You can be sitting in a chair seemingly calm and resting, or lying in your bed, and your sin comes back to visit you and makes you shake. You flinch in your body and you say to yourself, “Why in the world did I do that? I wish I had not done that.” How many of you have had that experience? Your sin will visit you. The Bible makes it very clear: “Be sure your sin will find you out.” Not only that, God said, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay.” Not only that: “Be not deceived; God is not mocked.” See, you think you are mocking God, but God is not mocked. “Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” Sin will take you further than you want it to go, keep you longer than you want it to stay, and make you pay more than you want it to pay.
Sin is a bad boy, and I would tell you: stay away from sin. You can have the same pleasures in life as a Christian being obedient to God than you can in the world. In fact, ladies and gentlemen, I have a new devotional plan for born-again saved people—for married people only. See, stop playing with God and trying to act so spiritual that you’re no earthly good. Many pastors and pastors’ wives are falling into sin because they’re not doing what God wants them to do naturally, so they’re doing evil on the side in the church.
Here’s what I’m telling pastors and pastors’ wives—and church leaders and their wives. You need, number one, to stop acting so spiritual that you’re no earthly good. You’re so heavenly minded you’re no earthly good. I’ve said it down through the years, and I’ll say it again. This is a new devotional plan. It’s a little bit different than the old devotional plan. I’m a big believer in devotions; I believe that’s the power. Listen to me well. Hear me well. The power of the church is that little devotional prayer time that you have in the morning reading the Bible and family devotions—which so many people have forsaken. Make no mistake about it.
But let me tell you something: the reason why some of you are so messed up—the reason why some of you people who claim to be Christians are so messed up regarding sex—is because you want to act like sex is not important because you’re so spiritual, angelic, and holy. Some of you people think you’re holier than God, and you’re not. You’re not even holier than thou. So quit it. That urge you have early in the morning—and that’s when it’s going to be, oh yes, especially for you men, and for the women as well—it’s not to pray. Some of you people are messed up behind this, committing adultery, looking at pornography, calling yourselves Christians. The pornography game is just like the sin game: the more you do it, the deeper you’re going to go in it because you’re going to try to satisfy something that you should not be trying to satisfy. The progression is heterosexual sex, then homosexual sex, then you want children, then you’re going for the dog. That’s the downward slope of sin; it just keeps on going. That’s why someone said a long time ago: sin will take you further than you want it to go, keep you longer than you want it to stay, and make you pay more than you want it to pay.
So here’s the new devotional program. First of all, the best time to have sex is early in the morning. And that’s the best time to pray and read the Bible too. So I’m setting you free. God is leading me to set you free. I’m telling you what I do: that urge, that fire early in the morning—excuse me, don’t tell anybody I said it—that boner early in the morning needs to be taken care of right then. Don’t bow your head; it’s not time to pray. You and mommy need to do the boom-boom before you come out for family devotions.
You say, “Preacher, I can’t believe—how in the world would you say something like that from a Sunday morning pulpit?” Because this is the problem: your mind ain’t right until that right there is taken care of. That desire, that fire for sex, has to be quenched. It has to be taken care of. Do it first thing in the morning before you come out of the room and get your mind right. Some of you people, your mind is messed up because you’re not doing what you’re supposed to be doing.
“Well, preacher, what about the single people?” Y’all need to get married—to the opposite sex—and deal with it like everybody else so you can do the boom-boom and go on and have a good day. You do the boom-boom first thing in the morning when you have your highest desire. By the way, men need to lead the way regarding sex. For too long, women have been controlling things, and she’s not going to do much of anything if you don’t lead the way, sir. Every day. I’m not talking about once a week, once a month. Y’all walking around the house doing anything once a week, maybe once every two weeks, and she’s got you on a schedule—which is not a good schedule for a man. That’s why you men, you pastors—I’m talking to you pastors—before you even get in your pulpit this morning, you’re going to look at your phone and look at some booty and some titties. Right? Before you get in your pulpit, I’m telling you right now: don’t do it. You got it right there beside you.
And by the way, you say, “Well, she’s fatter now. She’s too skinny now.” Let me tell you something: that has nothing to do with anything. I cannot explain it to you; I don’t have time. But you married her. That’s your only wife. You need to get with her, and you won’t be interested in looking at some plastic woman on your phone or computer. Thousands of pastors, preachers, and pastors’ wives are starving for sex. Not only because of the pleasure of sex—it is documented by medical officials—it’s really all about the intimacy of sex that makes you healthier. You come out of the room happier, more pleasant. Y’all don’t hear me.
So I’m changing the game on devotions. I’ve been dealing with it for some years now. Have sex first. Men, you lead the way. You’re ready, and all it takes is to get her ready. All this waiting for “date night”—to hell with date night, people. Y’all are married. There’s no more dating. Later for date night. You go out, get a babysitter, spend $300 on a babysitter, spend $400 at the steakhouse, you get all that butter—they use real butter at the steakhouse, by the way—you get all that butter in you and a steak in you, and all that stuff clogs up your arteries. Then you want to try to have sex at 10 or 11 o’clock at night. That ain’t working. That has not worked. Why? After you eat something like that, you’re not even ready to do what needs to be done unless you’re young. Don’t go on a date; have sex first, and then go to McDonald’s or the rib shack. Order in and order something for your children too. Don’t get a babysitter. Do it first thing in the morning. Then get yourself showered, cleaned up. Your mind is right, your spirit is right, your body is right and tight.
Dr. Shedd wrote a book about the boom-boom many years ago—Charlie Shedd, you look him up. He said it himself: this is important; you need to take care of it. Now we’ve got pastors falling into sin, raping women and raping children and everything else going on because they’re caught up in pornography, have been so-called addicted for 30 years. You take care of that first thing in the morning, get up, wash your face, clean yourself, take a shower, get yourself cleaned up, ready to go. Then sit down and have individual devotions, have family devotions, pray, read the Bible—and you don’t have sex on your mind. That’s how you do it, people. Stop trying to play a game with God and try to make God think you’re so spiritual and so heavenly minded that you’re no earthly good. And that’s free.
Shall we pray?
Holy Father God, I pray in the holy name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank You for leading me in the way that You wanted me to go to deal with a huge problem, even in the context of a sermon like this. Holy Father God, most importantly, those who don’t know You as Savior—they may not even understand everything we’re talking about. Lord, open their blinded eyes, unstop their deaf ears, and truly save their souls and change their lives. Help them to believe in You.
I don’t know of anyone, Lord, who has ever regretted believing in You. I know I have never regretted it. I thank You so much for how You saved my soul from the burning hell. I was so ignorant, Lord; I didn’t even know I was going to hell. But I know I was doing hellacious things. Lord, open somebody else’s eyes this morning and save their souls and change their lives. Because once they get saved, tens, hundreds, thousands of others may get saved because of their testimony.
Lord, You know I hated church. I hated preachers. I cursed and swore that I would never preach like my dad, Daniel White Jr. Not only that, I said I was going to drive the bus to hell. And now I’m trying to get people saved from hell, and have been doing it now by Your grace for over 46 years. I give You the glory, praise, and honor for Your invitation, Your holy gospel: “Come.” Receive Jesus Christ as Savior. For He suffered, bled, and died on the cross for our sins. He paid our sin debt. Our sins are just absolutely atrocious, ugly, and wicked. Lord, I don’t even know how You do it—we’re so wicked, so evil, so unclean, so ungodly. But thank You for Your love, Your grace, and Your mercy.
Lord, thank You for those who are standing with me and helping in the ministry, allowing me to do this full time every day in multiple ways, even when we are not on screen live, and doing it in so many different ways—through articles, through writing, through books. I give You the glory, praise, and honor for the people, especially my children first of all, and then others who have stood with us to help us continue to do this. Bless them today in a special way. Lord, I pray that Your Holy Ghost, as we saw this morning in Your Word, would move mightily upon the hearts of the people. Pardon me, Lord, and everybody who are here today—open their blinded eyes and unstop their deaf ears and truly save their souls. In Jesus Christ’s name we pray, and for His sake, amen.
Now, dear friend of mine, if you have never been born again saved, the invitation is for you. God wants you to respond. God has lovingly sent out the invitation, Keith, Robert B. Johnson, Mr. DeRalge, Mr. D. Deacon Moab is already saved; Sister Bliss is already saved; I’m already saved. So what God wants you to do is respond.
Well, what is in the invitation, preacher?
- God wants you to understand that you are a wicked and evil sinner. The Bible says, “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”
- God wants you to understand and know that you are going to die because of your sins, which is horrible in itself. For the Bible says, “The wages of sin is death.” The payment for your sins is the ultimate punishment before going to hell—death. That’s terrible. The fact that we are going to die—each and every one of us—and last count, over 150,000 people die every day. Today may be your day. The Bible says, “It is appointed unto man once to die, but after this the judgment.”
- In that invitation, God wants you to understand that if you do not respond to this invitation in the affirmative, you will be cast into the burning hell and into the lake of fire to be tormented, suffer, and burn forever. You say, “Well, preacher, I just cannot believe that God would do something like that.” God does not send you to hell; God sent you an invitation, and you need to accept that invitation so that you can go to heaven. You need to believe in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Not only did He send the invitation, not only is the Holy Spirit of God calling you, talking to you right now—my voice is one thing, but the Holy Spirit’s voice is talking to you right now, and the Holy Spirit’s voice will continue to invite you and talk to you and convict you even after this service is over. So believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. Pray and ask Him to come into your heart. Let Jesus know, let God know that you believe in His Son, Jesus Christ, who suffered, bled, and died on the cross for your sins. He paid your debt. Don’t worry about the fact that He paid the debt for everybody; He paid it for you.
What is your name, Reginald? What is your name, Anastasia? What is your name, Ivy Pro, Tammy Williams? What is your name, Mrs. Marika White? What is your name, Sammy Madison? He died for you. He suffered, bled, and died for you. He was buried and rose on the third day. He paid your sin debt. All you have to do is believe in Him, receive Him into your heart, and pray and ask Him to save you.
Follow me in the sinner’s prayer. Repeat after me phrase by phrase and mean it from your heart:
“Holy Father God, have mercy and grace upon my soul. And for Jesus Christ’s sake, please forgive me of all of my sins, my failures, and my faults, as I now believe in You, Lord Jesus Christ, the best way that I know how. Lord Jesus Christ, please come into my heart and into my spirit and save my soul from the burning hell. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Help me to change. Help me to repent of my sins. Help me to follow You in the newness of life. In Jesus Christ’s name I do pray. And for His sake, amen.”
Ladies and gentlemen, those of you who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ—and yes, I do expect people to get saved online, in person. When I preach the gospel, I expect people to get saved. That’s a form of an invitation from God and Jesus Christ. In fact, the church down through the years—all churches used to give invitations. When they preached a sermon, when the pastor preached a sermon, they gave the people an invitation to come down to the altar and believe in Christ, confess sin, and repent. Many churches don’t do that today. There’s really no purpose in your sermon, pastor, if you’re not calling and inviting people to Jesus—and inviting them to come to the altar, so to speak, to believe in Jesus Christ and repent of sin. That’s the purpose of the preaching. I do believe that people will respond to the gospel. Everybody won’t. But if just one person got saved, Deacon Moab, it’s worth it all, because one soul is more valuable than all of the universe. Jesus talked about that when He was here.
So for those of you who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ today—maybe you did it yesterday, maybe you did it on Wednesday—congratulations for doing the most important thing in life, and that is responding to God’s RSVP and believing in His Son, Jesus Christ, so that they can make room for you at the marriage supper of the Lamb and in heaven. Jesus has a mansion prepared for you, and it’s all true. So believe it, accept it, and be at the marriage supper of the Lamb with all believers in Christ—millions of believers in Christ down through the years.
Here are your next steps:
- Get baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
- Pray every day—three times a day at least. Pray without ceasing, as God has commanded. Learn the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew Chapter 6.
- Read the Bible along with prayer. This is what I was talking about earlier. Yes, prayer and Bible reading is more important than sex. But as human beings, we cannot act like we’re so heavenly minded that we’re no earthly good. God made sex for human beings in holy matrimony and marriage; it’s a beautiful thing. You’re going to run into problems if you don’t take care of that by choice and feeling. Then you pray and read the Bible with your family. If you have a family, if it’s just the husband and wife, then pray and read the Bible until the children come. When they come, you sit them on your lap and you pray and read the Bible together in the morning—first thing.
- Obey the Bible. God wants you to obey the Bible. D’Angelo, Kyla, Esteban—obey the Bible. That’s going to be your true blessing: obedience. I told Mrs. White yesterday: there was an older lady in Philadelphia. They would invite me to preach every year, and the wife of the pastor, Mrs. Thompson, was an older pastor’s wife. The first thing she told Mrs. White is, “Obedience is the key.” Obedience is the key—and that’s across the board for men and women, for all Christians. Obedience is the key and is the secret of your success. So obey the Bible.
Whatever the Bible says, obey it. The Bible says don’t lie—do not lie under any circumstances. The Bible says don’t steal—don’t steal. Because you do these things, and especially when you know better, you ought to do better, because if you don’t, you will have many strife. You’re going to have trouble in your life. The Bible says don’t commit fornication—that is, have sex before marriage. Don’t do it. No kind of sex—none of it. Not even the so-called “we’re going to keep our clothes on” sex and all that foolishness; that’s not going to work. Don’t even get in the bed with a person that you’re not married to. I don’t care if you like it or not. I’m telling you the truth that will set you free, because sin binds you up. “Thou shalt not commit adultery.” Don’t commit adultery in your heart, in your mind, in your soul, in your spirit, or with your body. Let it be. Let it be. Let God help you to get married to somebody that you can have sex with and enjoy the benefits of marriage with.
I told my children this the other day—Sister Bliss got the email. I said, “I have nothing to hide. I share details about what’s going on in the ministry, what’s going on in the family.” Sister Bliss and others get some of the same letters that my children get. I told my children that one of the great benefits of marriage is—I don’t know how God does it—the sex part is going to last until the day you die. You may have to replace a knee, but the other, you know, normally you don’t have to replace your private parts. And those desires, that burning that you have in the morning and all of that, is not going away in this life. So there are lifelong benefits of marriage.
You say, “Preacher, are you trying to encourage people not only to get saved, but to get married too?” Yeah, I am. Because that’s what God wants. Most of you can’t handle being single. I know I couldn’t; that’s why I got married. We need to tell the truth and shame the devil. I’m trying to help you get saved and get married. That’s right. Do it God’s way. If you’re going to have sex, you’re going to have to get married—that’s all there is to it—to the opposite sex. There’s no other marriage, people.
Then you need to make sure that you witness for the Lord. I’m serious about that. Each one of you ought to take a gospel pamphlet or tract from Fellowship Tract League. My favorite tract from Fellowship Tract League is “I Must Tell You This.” It just has a special urgency; it’s very simple. You can order these gospel tracts, these gospel pamphlets, free. Don’t order 10,000 and then stick them in the closet and not pass them out. But I guarantee you that God Almighty, through the Holy Spirit’s power, as you go through life—you don’t have to even go knock on doors and go down the street and give a tract to everybody—as you go through life, somebody delivers you a package, give them a gospel tract. You buy your coffee through the drive-through, give them a gospel tract. When you go to your favorite public bathroom—we all have a favorite public bathroom that if we have to go, we’ll make a beeline to that one because the door locks. That’s the only kind of bathroom I go into: public bathrooms where the door must lock behind me, not just the door in a stall. I don’t go to those bathrooms. I need to lock the door. You leave a gospel pamphlet there on the toilet, on the back of the toilet—don’t put it on the seat. On the back of the toilet. In that mirror, there’s a little divot, a little space in there; you can slide that gospel tract in there. Give people a chance to get saved from hell. Give people the invitation. That’s what God wants you to do. Jesus Christ said, “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Do something.
God bless you, dear friends. Until next time, if the Lord gives me the grace and the strength and the energy, I’ll be back at 11. But do—as I said last Sunday—do not hold me to that, because preaching takes a lot out of you more than what people think, especially an older preacher like me who’s been preaching the gospel for 46 years and over 10 years every day.
God loves you. Jesus Christ loves you. And God loves you and is with you. Jesus Christ said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” I love you in the Lord because of God’s love in my heart for all people. I ain’t mad at nobody. You say, “Do you love Mrs. White?” Yes, I do. I told her that the other day. I thank God she’s still here, but she’s not saved and she’s full of hell and the devil. If she does not repent and get saved, and she does not want to submit and be obedient, that is a problem. She has an open invitation. You don’t like what we’re doing here? You got a husband who preaches the gospel every day? You don’t like what we’re doing here? You can go back to your family if that’s what you want to do. That’s been an open invitation for 39 years. I have never tried to keep a woman like that. But I’m not mad at her. I love her with the God kind of love—the agape love. That’s how you need to love people. There’s no real love outside of God’s love, people. God’s love will let you be free to do whatever you want to do. And because, you know, as they say, you’ll find out about it; you’ll learn the hard way. God is the one who is dealing with Mrs. White, and she knows it. That’s one of the reasons why she is still here: because she knows God is the one punishing her and dealing with her. God is the one punishing you, chastising you, and dealing with you. You need to go ahead and submit.
See, some of you husbands want your wives to submit to you. If they don’t submit to God, they’re not going to submit to you. If they don’t want to believe in Jesus Christ and obey Jesus Christ, they’re not going to obey you. So you’ve got to do it God’s way.
Ladies and gentlemen, God bless you. It’s been a joy being with you this morning. I do have another sermon to preach dealing with a certain subject. So I’m raring to go and I’m ready to go. If the Lord continues to give me this kind of energy and strength, then Lord willing, I’ll be back at 11. If it’s not as well, I won’t.
God bless you, dear friends. Until next time, remember the motto of the Marines: Semper Fidelis. Be always faithful to the Lord until the end, and the end is near—for a whole lot of us individually, and all of us as far as the Lord Jesus Christ.
Have you noticed all of these earthquakes? You people better get ready. And by the way, have you noticed all of these fires? Europe is on fire. America is on fire. All of Canada is on fire. Why? These are the countries—and you’re not going to like it—who have pushed the abomination of homosexuality, and they are suffering for it. Great Britain is on fire. Spain is on fire. Europe is on fire. Canada is on fire. America is on fire. Sodom and Gomorrah punishment is happening to the entire world who in their pride have pushed the abomination of homosexuality and child rape, and they’re suffering for it. The whole world is suffering for that. And the earthquakes are signs of the second coming of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ predicted this—earthquakes all over the world every day.
God bless you. Have a wonderful day in the Lord. Those of you who have been here to this service, you have been to church. If you want to go to another church, you can do that at 11 o’clock. If you want to come back here at 11 o’clock, you’re welcome. But you don’t have to go anywhere. You have been to church for over an hour, almost an hour and a half. We’ve had church here. We’ve prayed. We’ve sung the songs of Zion—”As Long as I Have King Jesus, I Don’t Need Nobody Else”—that’s the song that opened up the service. We have heard from heaven; we have received an invitation from God Almighty. So you have already been to church. Go rest. Enjoy a great lunch. Those of you who have a little money and you buy your favorite meal, you don’t have to buy some for everybody. You go get your favorite meal and you go enjoy that favorite meal and watch your favorite show and relax and take it easy and walk the dog in the park and get your sleep and your rest and have a wonderful day in Jesus.
God bless you, dear friends. Until next time. God bless you, Sister Bliss. God bless you, Deacon Moab. Thank you for hanging in there with me, as you always do, if you’re able. God bless you. Bob, Eli, Villa, Monk113—God bless you all. Everybody have a great Sunday in the Lord. Pray throughout the day, rest, relax, enjoy a good meal, tell somebody about Jesus, and may God bless you all until next time. Praise ye the Lord for Deacon Moab, Sister Bliss, Melissa, Nancy—God bless you, Nancy—Stephen, Mr. President, is Trump with us? Sister Bliss, O’Connell, Messon, Robert—I don’t think President Trump is with us. God bless you, DeAndre, Mary—we’ll see you next time.
God bless you everybody on Rumble, Twitch, and other outlets. Glory be to God in the highest. TikTok. Substack.

He has preached the Gospel and the Word of God in person across America and in over 24 countries to thousands of people. He has preached the Gospel and the Word of God to millions of people around the world with the help of the internet, preaching live and on-demand multiple times a day for over eight years, to this very day. His mottoes are “Crying in the Wilderness,” “Exiled on the Isle of Patmos,” and “Preaching the Gospel by any means necessary,” all for the glory of God and Jesus Christ.
Daniel Whyte III is the president of the over-40-year-old Gospel Light Evangelistic Society International and the over-37-year-old Gospel Light House of Prayer International. He is known worldwide as the prophet who predicted the Coronavirus Plague over 10 years before it hit in recorded preaching and writing. God also led him to guide thousands through the Coronavirus Plague that killed over 20 million people because of the sins in the Judas-Laodicean church.
Daniel Whyte III’s greatest blessing in this life is his “quiver full” of 10 children—Daniella (Danni), Daniel IV, Danita Evangeline, Danae Mary-Louise, Daniqua Grace, Danyel Ezekiel, Danyelle Elizabeth Breedlove, Danielle Tekeela, Duran-Daniel, and the first Daniel IV (deceased and in heaven with the Lord)—along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Daniel Whyte III has been unblissfully but sexually satisfyingly married to his first and only wife, Meriqua Whyte of Christiana, Jamaica, for over 37 years since December 19, 1987. Jesus Christ said: “And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.” Even though many evangelicals, charismatics, and Protestants try to act as if these words of Jesus Christ are not a reality in our modern Christianity—primarily because of the Satanic-driven prosperity gospel and an over-positive philosophy, which is a lie not based in reality or biblical truth—the words of Jesus Christ are true for every person who preaches the Gospel. The outcomes of the Gospel are a changed life and opposition from family, lukewarm Christians, Laodicean-Judas pastors and churches, the world, and the devil. This is a reality in our present evil world.
While Daniel Whyte III thoroughly enjoys his married life because he did not allow his wife to have her way at any point and was and is solidly and biblically the head of his household throughout the marriage—often quoting Joshua, “As for me and my house, we’re going to serve the Lord” “up in here!”—and because his wife never failed in the very important area of sex, which he got married for in the first place to avoid sinning against God, he has especially enjoyed the privilege and joy of raising his children in the Lord virtually by himself. He served the Lord with them every day of their lives, from the time they were born until they graduated from college, became adults, and moved on.
However, his wife, Meriqua Whyte—motivated by Satan, with a Pharaoh-style pride mixed with the well-known female Jamaican-style pride, stubbornness, rebelliousness, and witchcraft—has been his greatest Judas enemy in the world and has been what Paul spoke of: a “messenger of Satan” and a “thorn in the flesh.” Amazingly, and by the grace of God, that Satanic evil opposition has spurred Daniel Whyte III on to preach the Gospel probably more times than any man on record. God has honored him because he did not “hearken to the voice of his wife.” Whyte tells other Christian men to only hearken to the voice of God and Jesus Christ—not to their wives, as so many thousands of church men have been taught by pastors and other older men throughout the years. Remember, we are in this worldwide, multi-generational mess because Adam hearkened to the voice of his wife and not to the voice of God.
Before they were married, Daniel Whyte III told his wife Meriqua Whyte that they would not do family life as her parents did, because their married life was hellacious and ended in divorce, as did some of her other family members, including the aunt she was living with. He also told his wife they would not do family life as his parents did, because it was also hellacious and out of order since his mother was the head of the household, not his father. But thanks be to God, they never got a divorce. Whyte told his wife before they got married that they were going to do it God’s way according to Ephesians chapters 5 and 6, or no way at all. And then he asked his wife, “Are you willing to do marriage God’s way according to Ephesians chapters 5 and 6?” And she said yes. Whyte told her before they got married that if she did not live up to her end of the deal, all bets were off.
Because Daniel Whyte III’s wife, Meriqua Whyte, was so proud, unsubmissive, stubborn, and rebellious after they got married, God led him to read Ephesians chapters 5 and 6 every day in their family devotions throughout their marriage. In the first year of their marriage, Daniel Whyte III also gave his wife a list of verses for women from the Word of God for her to read, which she still reads to this day. He also bought her many books to read to help her be the wife God wanted her to be.
Whyte realized early in the marriage that his wife was not a born-again, saved person even though she lied and said she was before they got married. After over 37 years of marriage, she is still not saved, never bearing any fruit of a saved person, to the point of not even wanting to tell her children, “I love you” and not wanting to hug them when they were little children, even after her husband told her to do so. She also hated the daily family devotions that her husband led and tried to hinder them. She also demonically hated and tried to hinder every Gospel preaching service to this very day.
However, only by the grace of God, they are still married, and despite the devil constantly working through his wife to try to hinder him from preaching the Word of God, he is still preaching the Gospel and the Word of God live and on-demand. His ministry reaches over 148,800 people per month with over 21,000 unique views per month, reaching 149 countries, preaching the Gospel and the Word of God in 2 to 3 services a day, 7 days a week. Glory be to God!
Mrs. Meriqua Whyte’s Apology to her Husband and Their 7 Children for not Being a Biblical Wife or Mother
Mrs. Meriqua Whyte, the Wife of Daniel Whyte III, Gave him the Best Father’s Day Gift Ever About 10 Years Ago When She Unexpectedly and Voluntarily Apologized for the First Time to Him and Their 7 Children for Not Being the Wife, Mother, and Christian Example of the Woman She Should Have Been Over the Past 37 Years of Marriage
Here is what Mrs. Meriqua Whyte wrote ten years ago after verbally apologizing to the entire family on Father’s Day, right before church service:
Over thirty years of marriage. Over thirty years of ups and downs. Over thirty years of trying to make our problems a personal thing between my husband and me. Thankfully, he did not allow me to do that and kept telling me it was between God and me—over thirty years of acting on my feelings and not on what the Bible says. Over thirty years of refusing to obey God’s simple command to a wife—to be obedient to your husband in all things. Over thirty years of disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, lying, and dishonesty, all rooted in pride. Over thirty years of simply not choosing to mature as a Christian.
God has been dealing with me for over thirty years now about changing my attitude and behavior as a wife, which has manifested itself in disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, lying, dishonesty, having an ungodly attitude and spirit, and simply not being the wife, mother, or example of a Christian woman that I should have been throughout the years. (By the way, for those of you who may be thinking that my disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, lying, and dishonesty have resulted in adultery, I will say here that I have never committed any adultery or had sex with another man besides my husband, Daniel Whyte III, since I was born.)
God kept telling me I needed to stop my rebellious and stubborn behavior, apologize to my husband and children, and get my heart right with him, my husband, and my children. He sent others my way to tell me how to behave:
- My husband, but I didn’t want to hear it from him
- Other Christian women speakers
- Other preachers
- Books and other materials, but I would not take heed
I knew what to do, but I chose not to do it. The devil had me thinking and believing—as he is having a lot of wives and mothers think and believe—that your relationship with your husband and how you respond to him, whether positive or negative, will not affect your relationship with your children or your relationship with God. I say without hesitation that this is one of the devil’s lies, and sad to say, many wives and mothers are falling for this lie.
Another lie of the devil that Christian wives are falling for is that you can still have a strong relationship with God without being submissive to your husband. Lie! Lie! Lie! There is no truth to this. I know because I have experienced this and am still experiencing this as I am going through this breaking process, which is not happening overnight.
Even throughout my years of rebelliousness, stubbornness, and pride, I still kept praying the prayer I used to pray daily before I got married: “Lord, make me be exactly what You want me to be. Lord, break, make, and mold me into what you want me to be.” Well, God took that prayer seriously, and once you accept Him, He will begin the breaking process. It’s up to us how long that breaking process will take. For me, sad to say, it has taken over 30 years, and the breaking is not complete. In what way is God breaking me down right now? Well, our children have grown up. The three oldest have gone through and are still going through college, have gotten their degrees, and some are working on their second, third, and fourth degrees, launching their careers and moving out. God slapped me into reality and truly intensified the breaking process. My husband told me before our first child was born and repeatedly while the children were young that my job was to love our children and make positive memories with them and that if I did that, I would have a wonderful relationship with them as adults in the time to come. Well, I disobeyed God and my husband, who did not let up on his duties. And he has a wonderful relationship with our children, even the girls, and I don’t. However, God led me to finally break the day before Father’s Day, and while I was helping my husband get dressed to preach, I asked him if I could apologize to him and the entire family. That’s the first time I ever did that on my own. Throughout the years, he has always told me that I needed to get my heart right with God, him, and my children; otherwise, I would never have the joy and peace of the Lord in my life. However, I kept on lying and denying that I was the problem.
Here is what I said to my husband and children on Saturday afternoon, June 17, 2017, the day before Father’s Day. My husband told the entire family that this was the best Father’s Day gift I have ever given to him:
“Daddy, children, I apologize for not being the wife, mother, and example of a Christian woman I should have been throughout the years. I have shown nothing but pride, disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, and a bad attitude and spirit toward God and my husband in front of you. My disobedience and rebelliousness have caused much unnecessary unrest and upheaval in the family. As my husband told me, things could have gone much better if I had obeyed God’s word from the beginning. Please accept my apology, and I am asking you to forgive me.”
The diminishing of peace and joy in my life throughout the years I brought on myself. Not having a proper relationship with God, my husband, and my children, I brought on myself—all because I chose the disobedient route. My number one desire is to live a life of peace—peace with God, my husband, and my children. I have learned that peace will not come as long as I live in disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, and pride.
I will end this with two notes: (1) Happy Father’s Day to my husband: you have been a great husband and father. (2) Happy Children’s Day to my children: You all have been great children. I have no complaints whatsoever against my husband and, of course, children; you have never been at fault. My bad behavior is all on me, and I’m sorry I put you through this. May God bless your lives, and I love you.
Ephesians 5:22 – 6:20 (KJV)
Below is the passage in the Bible that Daniel Whyte III read in their family devotions every day for decades. It covers the biblical duties of the husband, the wife, and the children, and includes how to fight against the devil who is seeking to destroy the family.
22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
6 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
2 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;
3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;
6 Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;
7 With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:
8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.
9 And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
The Gospel in a Nutshell
If you were to die today, where would you go: Heaven or Hell? If you’re not sure, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.”
Jesus Christ said the most important words ever spoken in the history of the world when He said, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

The Most Important Question in the World: Have You Been Twice Born?
This is the “Chief of sinners,” Daniel Whyte III, president of Gospel Light Society International, with the Gospel Light Minute X Podcast #447, titled, “The Big Question.” I’m here to remind you of what the Bible says: that “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” like you and me.
“Have You Been Born Again?”
The question is not, “Have you joined a church?” or “Are you trying to do your best?” or “Do you have religion?” but, “Are you twice-born?” Jesus Christ said in John 3:3, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
We enter the physical world by birth. Spiritual life, likewise, is entered with a birth. We become members of a human family by birth; we become members of the family of God by birth, by being “born again.” There is no other way to get into the human family except by birth, and there is no other way to get into God’s family except by the new birth. Neither education, nor cultivation, nor reformation, nor “turning over a new leaf,” will accomplish this. What is needed is not a new “leaf” but a new “life”! “Ye must be born again” (John 3:7).
A New Nature Needed
By physical birth, we become partakers of human nature; by being born again, we become “partakers of the divine nature.” A Christian is the product of a divine “begetting.” The second birth is not an improvement of the old nature; it is the imparting of an entirely new nature. The old nature is hopelessly corrupt and incapable of ever being made fit for His presence. The new birth requires a creative act of the Holy Spirit. “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.”
Not “Trying” But “Trusting”
“Trying to follow Christ” is not Christianity. Christianity is not imitation of Christ; it is the indwelling of Christ. Christianity is not trying to do anything. It is trusting Christ, who has done it all! He has “finished the work,” and there is nothing left to do but simply to receive and trust Him. He shed His precious blood on the cross, and the work is all done once and forever! Cease trying and begin trusting! Believers will progressively become more and more like Christ, but by His power, not their own.
What Must I Do To Be Saved?
Simply “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.” The Bible says in 1 John 5:1, “Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God.” The Bible states in John 1:12-13, “As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”
You are born again, you become a Christian by trusting a Person—receiving a Person. The very moment you do this, the Lord Jesus Christ comes in and life begins!
What Is Meant By “Believe”?
To “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ” means more than simply believing the historic facts concerning Him. Intellectual belief about Christ is not sufficient. The belief that brings salvation must be “with the heart,” that is, with the whole being. This belief also includes repentance: “Repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.” The Bible states in Acts 17:30, “God… now commandeth all men everywhere to repent.”
The faith which saves, then, includes the necessity to repent and to receive Christ as Savior and Lord, to rest upon Him alone for salvation. It means to trust Him so utterly and completely that, if He should fail, there would be no hope at all!
May I Know That I Am Born Again?
This is an important question. We know that we are born again by the testimony of God’s Word. God says in John 5:24, “He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” Have you believed on the Lord Jesus Christ as explained by God’s Word? If so, then you are saved, you are “born again,”; you have “passed from death unto life.” God says so! Take God at His Word, and go on your way rejoicing!
One Final Word
You may “belong to a church,” you may be “trying to do the best you can,” you may be “striving to live right.” Your outward life may be the model of moral correctness, and you may be looked up to, honored, revered, and respected. Yet, if you have not been “born again,” you are just as lost as if you had never heard of Christ. Yes, you may teach in the Sunday school, read the Bible, sing, shout, “feel happy,” and all the rest—but if you have never been “born again,” you are still in your sins and a stranger to the Lord Jesus Christ.
If you want to be saved from the wrath to come and from an eternity in Hell, and if you believe that Jesus Christ suffered, bled, and died on the cross for your sins, was buried, and rose again from the dead, and you are willing to trust Jesus Christ with all of your heart so you can go to Heaven, please pray with me what is called the sinner’s prayer:
Holy Father God, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I admit that I have sinned against You and that I have broken Your Ten Commandments. I have lied before. I have stolen things before. I have lusted after people and things before. I have dishonored and disobeyed my parents. I have taken Your holy Name in vain. For Jesus Christ’s sake, please have mercy and grace upon my soul and forgive me of all of my sins, my failures, and my faults. As I now believe in Your Holy Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe that He suffered, bled, and died on the cross for my sins, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to repent of my sins past. Help me to turn from my old, evil life and follow You in the new life. For it is in Your Name I pray. Amen.
