Daniel Whyte III Rebukes Pastor May’s Gangster Threats Against Pastor Rock Leach
First, today we’re picking up a hot, important story happening in the church as I speak. It is sad and one of the most explosive stories that has happened in the church on YouTube in a long time. So, the header for this—let me just start with the header, and then I’ll share more with you.
Yours truly, Daniel Whyte III, tells Pastor Bishop Amere May, “It might be Amir May,” to stand down and to publicly apologize on YouTube for issuing terroristic threats to Pastor Rock Leach and to whoever “y’all are going to get your butts beat” by—whoever that is. He needs to apologize publicly on YouTube, as he said it on YouTube, for making these terroristic threats. Okay? Before the Justice Department, the FBI, the Sheriff’s Department, and the local police put you in jail for public terroristic threats. I don’t know who your lawyer is, but they’re not advising you well. I’m not on anybody’s side. And I’m not on your side, Mr. May. I’m not on Rock Leach’s side or anybody else’s. But when you issue gangster threats like you issued on YouTube. We’ve never seen it get to this level. So you need to stand down, humble yourself down, sir, and apologize publicly to the people that you threatened. That’s what I would do. And that’s what I advise you to do.
You need to calm down. Seriously. I don’t know what’s going on in your life, but you need to calm down, sir. That’s ridiculous. And then I want to rebuke Rock Leach as well. So, yours truly, Daniel Whyte III, tells Pastor Rock Leach—I forget the name of his organization, but it has a good name. I should remember it. Pastor Rock Leach. Praise the Lord. Sister Sonia, thank you so much for your gifts. This is your third day in a row. You missed the Bible study we had in Job chapter 17: How to Hold On to God’s Unchanging Hand When Everything Is Falling Apart.
And I’m going to get the name of his organization. So bear with me. Social Fire. The Social Fire E-Church. Okay? That is Pastor Rock Leach. And so, yours truly, Daniel Whyte III—I like to, for the most part, deliver the news in the third person, particularly in writing; that’s how I write. The third person puts a little distance there and more objectivity. And so I’m telling Rock Leach that by calling and by nature, it appears he is a pastor with a loving pastor’s heart for all people. He is not a prophet. He is a pastor who is unwisely getting entangled with other pastors who have a similar calling and nature. And unfortunately, pastors always end up in these emotional moments, tense entanglements, and fights.
Some of the most argumentative people in the world are pastors. And it’s a part of them. And hopefully for many, in a good way. One of the reasons why they have studied things more thoroughly than the average person is that they feel like they know what they’re talking about from both sides, and they both could be right in their minds but wrong in reality. But be that as it may, the most insecure people and the most sensitive people in the world are pastors. And so that’s why you have so many cliques and so many pastors who want to cling to certain pastors and be in certain groups and be with certain preachers, and they have their little pecking order. So pastors trying to rebuke pastors publicly, for the most part, does not work. And this message that I’m delivering to Rock Leach could also be delivered to Brother Minor. I think his name is Corey Minor. Because he is by nature a pastor by calling and by how God has wired him—a loving pastor, a man who will give you the benefit of the doubt kind of guy. Unlike most prophets—true prophets, okay—he’s going to consider what you’re bringing to the table. Whereas a true prophet does not want to hear anything from you. They just want you to listen. And so pastors are wired differently. And I would advise Corey Minor and Rock Leach to be pastors on YouTube.
I know you can make more money by rebuking people and calling yourselves YouTube prophets because this conflict breeds more interest. Both of you are great Bible teachers and Bible preachers. And I would lovingly encourage you—and I think you have enough going on for yourselves now—where you can just focus on whole books of the Bible. And maybe just comment every now and then from a biblical perspective on certain trends. But rebuking pastors and bishops when you’re a pastor yourself, it normally does not work. It does not mean that what they are saying is not true. But pastors are not wired to say it in the first place or to receive it in the second place. Pastors fighting pastors are like cats fighting cats. It is a total mess. So Rock Leach, do not let your wife, anybody on your staff, or anyone else in your family, or anyone in your fan base push you and provoke you to respond to this gangster preacher — to say things like you said, “I am not scared of you,” which actually makes you sound scared of him. Whoever advised you to say that is not wise. So don’t even respond to this man like that. Don’t go tit for tat because you’re dealing with a man who’s acting foolishly and unwisely and certainly with a lack of understanding of the law. Okay, that is beneath you, Rock Leach. In fact, this response that you gave is really not you. We know you to be a man’s man with ten toes down. And we want you to continue to carry yourself that way for the glory of God and for the benefit of others. Now, let me share with you what’s going on for those of you who may not know.
In all of my years—we have been on YouTube for over 20 years. Our ministry has been on YouTube for over 20-plus years. You can go to our site, Gospel Light Society International, on YouTube. We have another site, Black Christian News, BCNN1, on YouTube as well. And we have never seen a pastor respond to another pastor in this way. This was, ladies and gentlemen—I’m talking about New York gangster style—terroristic threats. And Social Fire titled this transcription, “When Disagreement Turns into Dangerous Territory and Dangerous Threats.” This pastor, Pastor May, was saying things like, “But you shouldn’t worry about me. Don’t worry about me. You should be concerned about my followers.” You see, that’s a threat, a veiled threat. He’s trying to—Sonia, he’s trying to get himself out of it, but that’s a threat. Now, you can, Rock Leach—you can fool around and play and get into something you can’t get yourself out of.
First of all, no preacher ought to be talking like that. Okay, what are you saying? You’re getting yourself into something that you’re going to end up getting killed because you don’t know what you’re doing or something? What are you saying, May? You waxed arrogant and bold against this man. So I’m going to help you to understand: you need, quite frankly, to shut the hell up, Bishop. I’ve been dealing with people like you for over 30 years. Rock Leach is a pastor, a fellow pastor. And I believe that he’s handled himself well, but he is shook up about this. He’s trying to offer an olive branch and trying to work this out. And that’s the way he is. He’s a pastor from his heart. And he loves people. And he really does not want any conflict. Okay. But you’re not going to punk him. Okay. You’re not going to do that. Okay. So I’m telling you. You need to stand down, humble yourself down, don’t enter into anybody’s pulpit until you apologize for this satanic and demonic outburst. One of our parishioners, Sister Bliss, just said, “Violence is demonic. It comes straight from hell.” Okay? I mean, God destroyed the world because of violence. So you need to calm down.
As the young people say, you need to take a chill pill. You have temporarily—you have lost your righteous mind, sir. I have never seen anything like this. And this says a lot about you as a person. It says a lot about your character. I mean, and if you think that way, then you need to keep that to yourself because you’re going to end up in jail or something. Okay? Seriously. Really, bless your heart, Rock Leach is showing gray grace. Because, see, if you had said—if you had talked to me like that, you would be in handcuffs, you would be in jail. I got you on video. If you show that to a—you show that to the Sheriff’s Department. You send that to the FBI, they coming. They coming to get you. Were you drunk? Were you high? I mean, what? What’s the problem? I’ve seen rebukes and concerns brought up, and one time I rebuked Jamal Bryant publicly, and he wanted to sue me until I unleashed my attorney on him, and he backed down. But he never got like that. So look at yourself. Look at the video. And you will be ashamed of yourself. That’s unnecessary. Sometimes in life, Mr. May, you have to sing that song, the Beatles song. “Let It Be.” Let it be, let it be. Let it be, Lord, let it be. Whisper words of wisdom. Let it be. Okay?
And so, for some of you who don’t know, here are some things that were said. This comes from the transcriptions. “But you should be concerned about my followers. Don’t, don’t. You don’t need to be concerned about me, but you ought to be concerned about my followers.” Now you, Rock Leach—”You can fool around and play and get into something you can’t get yourself out of.” That’s a terroristic threat. The veiled threat—and you’re trying to cover up yourself, but that’s not going to fly with the police, the popo. He said, “I promise”—he raised his hand up to God and said, “I promise you, I promise to God.” This is what this pastor said. And first of all, no Christian should talk like—he raised his right hand to God and said, “I promise to God you will. I promise.” That’s a deep threat. All it is, the threat goes deeper. The knife is twisted even deeper. All it is, is a one-hand call, one text message. And what? What? Go ahead, preacher. What are you saying? This preacher here is gone. He’s dead. His house is blown up. What are you talking about, man? You’ve lost your righteous mind because you disagree with what he said about a sin or something in your life or something you’re doing wrong or you agree doctrinally about something? I thank God nobody has ever talked to me like that. Because I would have had the po-po in front of your house. We ain’t trying to do that. Let us reason. That was good to say. “Somebody’s going to whoop y’all’s behind.” Here comes a direct threat. See, the police want to talk to you. Once they see that video, the Sheriff’s Department, they’re going to want to talk to you. The FBI, since it is across state lines and all across the country on YouTube—nobody in their right mind is going to threaten somebody on YouTube. Have you lost your mind, sir? My soul. “Somebody’s going to whoop y’all’s behind.” Who are these “y’all”? Y’all, who are you talking about? Are you talking about Corey Minor and the other YouTubers? Are you talking about just Rock Leach? Who? So that in the words of Bishop Daniel Whyte Jr., let me get my grip. And let me get my hat. Okay. And that grip includes a gun that has duct tape on it. Okay. Digging where is. It’s getting hot in here. I’m quoting you. “Somebody’s going to get y’all.” What? See, you talk to me this way. I’m going to get my grip. That is, I’m going to get my Colt 45, my Dillinger, whatever kind of piece I have with duct tape on it. Okay, because I’m going to be looking over my shoulder for you and your little gangsters. You talking like a New York gangster. Are you got it? “Somebody is going to get y’all. Trust me. Trust me.” See, you’re deepening the threat when you say stuff like that. I mean, you’re like—you’re acting like you’re swearing. I guarantee you we’re going to get you for running off at the mouth about me, a man of God, a man of God. Trust me. Doggone it, man. What are you talking about? Huh? Oh, my soul.
“I will be ready for you and your buddies. And I have some bad spray because I really don’t want to kill anybody, but I would have some bad spray for you at least.” Are you running a Church of God in Christ gangster group? You people are taking yourselves too seriously. Trust me. See, if you tell me something like that, I believe you’re going to do something. I believe that you’re going to do. I guarantee you. I promise you. I take that seriously. And see, when you come back and apologize, which I hope you have enough sense to do that. Okay. That’s fine. But if I was Rock Leach, I would accept your apology, but the popo is still coming, and the Sheriff’s Department, the FBI, everybody else, they’re still coming, because I’m going to send this video to them.
Sister Bliss said, “Pastors have gone rogue.” Reminds me some many years ago, there was a popular commercial that would come on only late at night. I mean, we’re talking about 30-something years ago. And as a man, I didn’t mind the commercial, but it’s still wrong. “Girls Gone Wild.” How many of y’all remember the Girls Gone Wild franchise? Don’t get mad at me for bringing it up. Y’all watched it, okay? And some of you girls, y’all went wild too. And some of you men, you definitely went wild. This is right before the porn thing took over on the internet, I believe. Well, we have preachers gone wild, pastors, bishops gone flat-out wild and lost their righteous minds. And I said that recently. I told parents, you need to get your children and you need to protect your children from these pedophile pastors. May is not—we’re not talking about May here, we’re talking about the pedophile pastors. And you need to keep your children with you. Either at home, and you watch online and participate online. Or you make sure they sit beside you. They can’t go to the Pats, the Pirate. They can’t go to Awanas and all these other—I wouldn’t let my children do that. I never did. A pastor in Dallas, Texas got mad at me because he wanted me to release my children into the room of wild devils and animals with his son with braids and earrings in his ears, supposed to teach my children. I thought they lost their righteous mind. And here they are, they got the adults, about four or five adults sitting around a round table in a small room that is supposed to be Wednesday night service. And I said, no, my children won’t stay here with me. And that was the first time I said it.
Many of these evangelical pastors have lost their righteous minds. Evangelicals means Baptists, Independent Baptists, Methodists, Bible churches. No group is exempt. That’s what’s so sad. That’s another thing that makes me mad is that no denomination is exempt from these pedophile pastors. These child rapists, rapists of women, side pieces in the church. They’re mad at me. They want to kill me for bringing them up and calling them the evangelical files, like the Epstein files. The evangelical files is even more serious, my friend. You’re supposed to be a preacher. And you’re looking at child pornography? No, sir. That ought not so to be. But you, preacher, you said somebody’s going to get y’all. Trust me. And you said it convincingly. I would take that very seriously, sir. I would have said, oh really? Okay, all right. Where you live at now? Okay, got it. Expect a visitor. I believe that you’re serious.
Then he’s trying to cover his behind. It’s called CYA. Trying to cover his ass. “It ain’t me you got to worry about.” I’m quoting. “Believe that. It ain’t me.” Acting like he’s got some people who will take care of you. I assure you he does not have anybody. He may have a dog, but that’s all. He doesn’t have any people to take care of nothing. Okay? Preacher, aren’t you worried about him turning against you? I could care less. I’ve been dealing with these jokers for years. And quite frankly, some of the biggest cowards—I’ve already mentioned certain things already—some of the biggest cowards in America are pastors. I’m not worried about him. You don’t need to worry about that. Plus, I do not. Sister Bliss is laughing. Thank you, Sister Bliss, for the wonderful gifts that you’ve sent to God and Jesus Christ. You’re right. Pastors have gone rogue. They’ve lost their minds. I mean, seriously. You’re watching child pornography. You’re watching pornography on the regular. Don’t bow your head yet. It’s not time to pray. Okay? And if any of these pastors that I’m talking to watch pornography on the regular, you need to get out of the ministry and go sit down somewhere. Oh, yeah. Lord have mercy. I’ve already preached this morning. I’m tired. I may have to cut this broadcast short. Because, I mean, it’s just too much. But you might have to worry about Larry’s killing. I don’t know what that is about. It’s a transcript, so it may mean anything. All y’all running to these bloggers to hear more mess. He said, “He that soweth discord amongst the brethren.” Rock Leach, I’m quoting, “You are walking on dangerous territory.” Mm-hmm. “You sound like a lost man.” That’s to me. To me. “Jack, you are walking”—I’m quoting the man, the pastor, the bishop. “Jack, you are walking on dangerous ground. Keep my name out of your mouth.” Oh, my. Oh, you’re going to bring a Will Smith. You know, y’all know what Will Smith did. “Keep my name out of your mouth, Rock Leach. Keep our presiding bishop’s name out of your mouth.” You don’t have to worry about me again, CYA. Cover your ass. See, if you told the police detective that, they’re going to start laughing. Okay. What I said, you don’t have to worry about me. No, we are worried about you because you generating all of this. Basically, you got people to kill people, and all it takes is a text. All it takes is a phone. I’ll be ringing the police while you’re talking, man. Have you lost your mind? You’re not going to threaten me like that. Ring, ring, 911. Go get Pastor May. He has temporarily lost his mind, evidently. “You don’t have to worry about me.” But you all in these comments—that’s what he’s talking about. That’s what he’s worried about. Lord help me. This is so sad. Grown men. Grown men. Talking like this. He’s concerned about the people in the comments talking about him. See, there’s one way to avoid scrutiny. Don’t do the dirt in the first place. Don’t try to think you’re slick in the first place. Just keep your nose clean, seriously. “You’re going to have to worry about my followers.” Your followers are not going to lay down their life for you. None of them. You say, you don’t even know my father. I don’t have to know them. I know they’re not going to lay down their life for you. They’re not going to kill anybody for you. Have you lost your mind? Nobody has followers like that on YouTube or in your church. They’re not going to jail for you. “That is not a threat.” Well, it is a threat. It’s an indirect threat, but nonetheless a threat. “That is not a threat. That is a promise.” Lord have mercy, everybody.
So that’s what we’re dealing with here today. That’s live in the news today. You can go to YouTube and listen to this foolishness. But these things, in the words of the Apostle James, these things are not so to be. Shall we pray. Holy Father God, I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the protection of Rock Leach. I pray for the salvation of Pastor May. I pray that Rock Leach and Corey Minor, that they will use their gifts that you have bestowed upon them. Both of them are pastors at heart. They’re not roughneck prophets crying in the wilderness. They are concerned about how people feel about them as most pastors are. And so, Lord, help them to use their great ability to teach, great ability to discern, to help the congregation of the church online and not get into it with these—quite frankly, Lord, some of these devilish pastors will not even save themselves. And Lord, I know it would make more money for them if they stuck with that, but help them to just focus on teaching your holy word and leaving these charlatan preachers alone, lost preachers alone. Save those who are lost, revive those who are saved, heal those who are sick, comfort those who are grieving and mourning. In Jesus Christ’s name I pray. Amen.
All right. God has given me enough strength to go on after that horrifying story and pray for these preachers, pray for Rock Leach and his family because this is very serious. These words right here and the way he said them, like a mad dog. I mean, he reminded me so much of the hood rats on the corner when I was growing up and how they would talk. He reminded me of Al Capone. He reminded me of a gangster. I’ve never seen anything like that before. I’ve never seen a preacher get so mad and so unloving to say things like that. So I believe that, for his own good. I’m serious. For his own good. He needs to hurry up and issue an apology on YouTube. Because he’s going to hear from somebody on this right here. Because if I was Rock Leach, I would be concerned. Because of the way he said it. He said it with gusto. “I promise you.” White Negro, you done lost your mind. Okay.
And so our second story for today is a little bit lighter and we’re gonna move through these pretty quickly. And then that’s going to be it for today. But that was our sad, frightening top story for today. And I told Rock Leach, do not let his wife, do not let his family, do not let—because, you know, all of us, you know, most of us as men have pride and you can push our buttons and we won’t let you know that we’re not a punk and we’re gonna, you know, say something back to you that everybody else who knows us know that we’re not afraid and we want to say what we want to say and do what we want to say back to you. But that’s not always wise. And I believe Christ will lead you not to do that. Okay? Some people it’s best not to even respond to and just let it be. Let it be. And let the cold, hot coals of fire just burn on their heads. Sometimes the best response is no response at all. And just let the people hang themselves, man. That’s all you have to do. You don’t need to be trying to come up—well, I want you to know I’m not scared of you. No. That makes you look scared. Don’t do that. Okay? Don’t listen to other people. Listen to your own—don’t listen to the voice of your wife. Do not listen to your staff. Do not listen to your family. Do not listen to your fans for sure. People who claim to be your fans. Don’t listen to them at all. Don’t harken to the voice. You want to say things that’s not even you. It doesn’t even sound like you. Okay? And so, let me move on.
Ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, family, friends, and foes. Yes, foes in the family. I could have told you the whole story. I have it right here. But I’m not going to do that. But this is—it was shocking. Quite frankly.
All right, news story number two. The G3 Ministries shuts down. A once very popular ministry across multiple denominations shuts down. Why? Because of an anonymous smear campaign. Because of an anonymous smear campaign. We get this story from Ministry Watch and the Roy’s Report. In other words, people were gossiping about people. People were—preachers were talking about one another. Whispering campaign was done. And I have shared with people for years, the Southern Baptists are the masters of whispering campaigns. I mean, it is an art form to them. They can—they can shut down a preacher. Pardon me, excuse me. Shut down a preacher. Cause a preacher to retire by starting a whispering campaign. Here again, pastors gone rogue. Here again, pastors gone wild. That’s how this ministry came to an end. When men resort to anonymous whisper campaigns and underhanded tactics to tear down a fellow minister, they forfeit their moral authority and they should resign. Biblical accountability must always walk in the light, not hide in the dark shadows of cowardice.
Our next news story, number three. Young churchgoers seeking structure and realism and liturgy. That is what is happening with Gen Zers. That is what is happening with the millennials. They’re looking for churches with structure and with conviction, not just to go along to get along. It turns out that a hungry generation of young people, they are tired of watered-down fluff and shallow entertainment. They want real Christianity. They are crawling back toward historic Christianity and substantive biblical structure because they desperately need an anchor for their souls.
Number three, or number four rather, practicing Christians and the AI dilemma. We get this from Christian Daily International. Pardon me. My comment: it is alarming to watch believers lean so heavily on artificial intelligence for spiritual guidance. Machines can process data, but only the Holy Spirit can regenerate a dead heart and guide a believer into absolute truth.
Number five, Grammy Award-winning Christian singer Michael W. Smith warns against celebrity worship. The Christian Post, Christian Daily International tells us this story. And my comment: when the platform becomes a stage for man’s ego rather than an altar for God’s glory, the church loses its power. True spiritual revival always humbles.
Number six, Keith Getty calls Christians to sing the Bible in the age of AI. My comment: we do not need catchy ditties with seven words repeated 12 times. We need robust, scripturally saturated hymns that hide the word of God deep in the hearts of the saints.
Number seven, DOJ updates religious liberty. The Department of Justice updates religious liberty guidance and parental rights.
Ladies and gentlemen, that does it for me. I’ve already preached this morning, stayed up half the night. We have more stories to share with you, but the Lord is telling me it’s time to get some rest. So Lord willing, we’ll see you next time. Those of you who are born again, saved, thank you for being with us. Hopefully you got some exhortation from this. Those of you who are not born again, please believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. I urge you to do so. For your Holy Father loves you and Jesus Christ died for your sins. Jesus Christ said the most important words in the history of the world: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ for your soul’s salvation. May God bless you and may God keep you is my prayer. Pray for me as I will be praying for thee. If I’m willing, we’ll see you soon. God bless you. Thank you so much, Sister Bliss. Sister Bliss made it clear. For those of you who want to support this ministry and work, you may do so at Cash App, at Cash Sign, Daniel Whyte, capital I, capital I, capital I. You’ll be amazed at what a dollar can do. If the Lord leads you to give, please do so. Thank you, Sister Bliss. May God bless you all. Until next time, pray for me as I will be praying for thee. God bless you. Sonia Mills, thank you so much for your gifts. Sister Bliss, thank you so much for your gifts. Mia, God bless you until next time. Glory be to God, everybody. Have a wonderful day in the life.

Jesus Christ said: “And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.” Even though many evangelicals, charismatics, and Protestants try to act as if these words of Jesus Christ are not a reality in our modern Christianity—primarily because of the Satanic-driven prosperity gospel and an overly positive philosophy, which is a lie not based in reality or biblical truth—the words of Jesus Christ are true for every person who preaches the Gospel. The outcomes of the Gospel are a changed life and opposition from family, lukewarm Christians, Laodicean-Judas pastors and churches, the world, and the devil. This is a reality in our present evil world.
While Daniel Whyte III thoroughly enjoys his married life because he did not allow his wife to have her way at any point and was and is solidly, and biblically the head of his household throughout the marriage—often quoting Joshua, “As for me and my house, we’re going to serve the Lord” “up in here!”—and because his wife never failed in the very important area of sex, which he got married for in the first place to avoid sinning against God, he has especially enjoyed the privilege and joy of raising his children in the Lord virtually by himself. He served the Lord with them every day of their lives, from the time they were born until they graduated from college, became adults, and moved on.
However, his wife, Meriqua Whyte—motivated by Satan, with a Pharaoh-style pride mixed with the well-known female Jamaican-style pride, stubbornness, rebelliousness, and witchcraft—has been his greatest Judas enemy in the world and has been what Paul spoke of: a “messenger of Satan” and a “thorn in the flesh.” Amazingly, and by the grace of God, that Satanic evil opposition has spurred Daniel Whyte III on to preach the Gospel probably more times than any man on record. God has honored him because he did not “hearken to the voice of his wife.” Whyte tells other Christian men to only hearken to the voice of God and Jesus Christ—not to their wives, as so many thousands of church men have been taught by pastors and other older men throughout the years. Remember, we are in this worldwide, multi-generational mess because Adam hearkened to the voice of his wife and not to the voice of God.
Before they were married, Daniel Whyte III told his wife Meriqua Whyte that they would not do family life as her parents did, because their married life was hellacious and ended in divorce, as did some of her other family members, including the aunt she was living with. He also told his wife they would not do family life as his parents did, because it was also hellacious and out of order since his mother was the head of the household, not his father. But thanks be to God, they never got a divorce. Whyte told his wife before they got married that they were going to do it God’s way according to Ephesians chapters 5 and 6, or no way at all. And then he asked his wife, “Are you willing to do marriage God’s way according to Ephesians chapters 5 and 6?” And she said yes. Whyte told her before they got married that if she did not live up to her end of the deal, all bets were off.
Because Daniel Whyte III’s wife, Meriqua Whyte, was so proud, unsubmissive, stubborn, and rebellious after they got married, God led him to read Ephesians chapters 5 and 6 every day in their family devotions throughout their marriage. In the first year of their marriage, Daniel Whyte III also gave his wife a list of verses for women from the Word of God for her to read, which she still reads to this day. He also bought her many books to read to help her be the wife God wanted her to be.
Whyte realized early in the marriage that his wife was not a born-again, saved person, even though she lied and said she was before they got married. After over 37 years of marriage, she is still not saved, never bearing any fruit of a saved person, to the point of not even wanting to tell her children, “I love you,” and not wanting to hug them when they were little children, even after her husband told her to do so. She also hated the daily family devotions that her husband led and tried to hinder them. She also demonically hated and tried to hinder every Gospel preaching service to this very day.
However, only by the grace of God, they are still married, and despite the devil constantly working through his wife to try to hinder him from preaching the Word of God, he is still preaching the Gospel and the Word of God live and on-demand. His ministry reaches over 148,800 people per month with over 21,000 unique views per month, reaching 149 countries, preaching the Gospel and the Word of God in 2 to 3 services a day, 7 days a week. Glory be to God!
Mrs. Meriqua Whyte’s Apology to her Husband and Their 7 Children for not Being a Biblical Wife or Mother
Mrs. Meriqua Whyte, the Wife of Daniel Whyte III, Gave him the Best Father’s Day Gift Ever About 10 Years Ago When She Unexpectedly and Voluntarily Apologized for the First Time to Him and Their 7 Children for Not Being the Wife, Mother, and Christian Example of the Woman She Should Have Been Over the Past 37 Years of Marriage.
Here is what Mrs. Meriqua Whyte wrote ten years ago after verbally apologizing to the entire family on Father’s Day, right before church service:
Over thirty years of marriage. Over thirty years of ups and downs. Over thirty years of trying to make our problems a personal thing between my husband and me. Thankfully, he did not allow me to do that and kept telling me it was between God and me—over thirty years of acting on my feelings and not on what the Bible says. Over thirty years of refusing to obey God’s simple command to a wife—to be obedient to your husband in all things. Over thirty years of disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, lying, and dishonesty, all rooted in pride. Over thirty years of simply not choosing to mature as a Christian.
God has been dealing with me for over thirty years now about changing my attitude and behavior as a wife, which has manifested itself in disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, lying, dishonesty, having an ungodly attitude and spirit, and simply not being the wife, mother, or example of a Christian woman that I should have been throughout the years. (By the way, for those of you who may be thinking that my disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, lying, and dishonesty have resulted in adultery, I will say here that I have never committed any adultery or had sex with another man besides my husband, Daniel Whyte III, since I was born.)
God kept telling me I needed to stop my rebellious and stubborn behavior, apologize to my husband and children, and get my heart right with him, my husband, and my children. He sent others my way to tell me how to behave:
- My husband, but I didn’t want to hear it from him.
- Other Christian women speakers
- Other preachers
- Books and other materials, but I would not take heed.
I knew what to do, but I chose not to do it. The devil had me thinking and believing—as he is having a lot of wives and mothers think and believe—that your relationship with your husband and how you respond to him, whether positive or negative, will not affect your relationship with your children or your relationship with God. I say without hesitation that this is one of the devil’s lies, and sad to say, many wives and mothers are falling for this lie.
Another lie of the devil that Christian wives are falling for is that you can still have a strong relationship with God without being submissive to your husband. Lie! Lie! Lie! There is no truth to this. I know because I have experienced this and am still experiencing it as I go through this breaking process, which is not happening overnight.
Even throughout my years of rebelliousness, stubbornness, and pride, I still kept praying the prayer I used to pray daily before I got married: “Lord, make me be exactly what You want me to be. Lord, break, make, and mold me into what You want me to be.” Well, God took that prayer seriously, and once you accept Him, He will begin the breaking process. It’s up to us how long that breaking process will take. For me, sad to say, it has taken over 30 years, and the breaking is not complete. In what way is God breaking me down right now? Well, our children have grown up. The three oldest have gone through and are still going through college, have gotten their degrees, and some are working on their second, third, and fourth degrees, launching their careers and moving out. God slapped me into reality and truly intensified the breaking process. My husband told me before our first child was born, and repeatedly while the children were young, that my job was to love our children and make positive memories with them, and that if I did that, I would have a wonderful relationship with them as adults in the time to come. Well, I disobeyed God and my husband, who did not let up on his duties. And he has a wonderful relationship with our children, even the girls, and I don’t. However, God led me to finally break down the day before Father’s Day, and while I was helping my husband get dressed to preach, I asked him if I could apologize to him and the entire family. That’s the first time I ever did that on my own. Throughout the years, he has always told me that I needed to get my heart right with God, him, and my children; otherwise, I would never have the joy and peace of the Lord in my life. However, I kept on lying and denying that I was the problem.
Here is what I said to my husband and children on Saturday afternoon, June 17, 2017, the day before Father’s Day. My husband told the entire family that this was the best Father’s Day gift I have ever given to him:
“Daddy, children, I apologize for not being the wife, mother, and example of a Christian woman I should have been throughout the years. I have shown nothing but pride, disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, and a bad attitude and spirit toward God and my husband in front of you. My disobedience and rebelliousness have caused much unnecessary unrest and upheaval in the family. As my husband told me, things could have gone much better if I had obeyed God’s word from the beginning. Please accept my apology, and I am asking you to forgive me.”
I brought the diminishing of peace and joy in my life on myself throughout the years. Not having a proper relationship with God, my husband, and my children, I brought on myself—all because I chose the disobedient route. My number one desire is to live a life of peace—peace with God, my husband, and my children. I have learned that peace will not come as long as I live in disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, and pride.
I will end this with two notes: (1) Happy Father’s Day to my husband: you have been a great husband and father. (2) Happy Children’s Day to my children: You all have been great children. I have no complaints whatsoever against my husband and, of course, my children; you have never been at fault. My bad behavior is all on me, and I’m sorry I put you through this. May God bless your lives, and I love you.
Ephesians 5:22 – 6:20 (KJV)
Below is the passage in the Bible that Daniel Whyte III read in their family devotions every day for decades. It covers the biblical duties of the husband, the wife, and the children, and includes how to fight the devil, who seeks to destroy the family.
22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
6 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
2 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;
3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;
6 Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;
7 With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:
8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.
9 And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
The Gospel in a Nutshell
If you were to die today, where would you go: Heaven or Hell? If you’re not sure, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.”
Jesus Christ said the most important words ever spoken in the history of the world when He said, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

The Most Important Question in the World: Have You Been Twice Born?
This is the “Chief of sinners,” Daniel Whyte III, president of Gospel Light Society International, with the Gospel Light Minute X Podcast #447, titled “The Big Question.” I’m here to remind you of what the Bible says: that “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” like you and me.
“Have You Been Born Again?”
The question is not, “Have you joined a church?” or “Are you trying to do your best?” or “Do you have religion?” but, “Are you twice-born?” Jesus Christ said in John 3:3, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
We enter the physical world by birth. Spiritual life, likewise, is entered with a birth. We become members of a human family by birth; we become members of the family of God by birth, by being “born again.” There is no other way to get into the human family except by birth, and there is no other way to get into God’s family except by the new birth. Neither education, nor cultivation, nor reformation, nor “turning over a new leaf,” will accomplish this. What is needed is not a new “leaf” but a new “life”! “Ye must be born again” (John 3:7).
A New Nature Needed
By physical birth, we become partakers of human nature; by being born again, we become “partakers of the divine nature.” A Christian is the product of a divine “begetting.” The second birth is not an improvement of the old nature; it is the imparting of an entirely new nature. The old nature is hopelessly corrupt and incapable of ever being made fit for His presence. The new birth requires a creative act of the Holy Spirit. “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.”
Not “Trying” But “Trusting”
“Trying to follow Christ” is not Christianity. Christianity is not imitation of Christ; it is the indwelling of Christ. Christianity is not trying to do anything. It is trusting Christ, who has done it all! He has “finished the work,” and there is nothing left to do but simply to receive and trust Him. He shed His precious blood on the cross, and the work is all done once and forever! Cease trying and begin trusting! Believers will progressively become more and more like Christ, but by His power, not their own.
What Must I Do To Be Saved?
“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.” The Bible says in 1 John 5:1, “Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God.” The Bible states in John 1:12-13, “As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”
You are born again; you become a Christian by trusting a Person—receiving a Person. The very moment you do this, the Lord Jesus Christ comes in, and life begins!
What Is Meant By “Believe”?
To “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ” means more than simply believing the historic facts concerning Him. Intellectual belief about Christ is not sufficient. The belief that brings salvation must be “with the heart,” that is, with the whole being. This belief also includes repentance: “Repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.” The Bible states in Acts 17:30, “God… now commandeth all men everywhere to repent.”
The faith which saves, then, includes the necessity to repent and to receive Christ as Savior and Lord, to rest upon Him alone for salvation. It means to trust Him so utterly and completely that, if He should fail, there would be no hope at all!
May I Know That I Am Born Again?
This is an important question. We know that we are born again by the testimony of God’s Word. God says in John 5:24, “He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” Have you believed on the Lord Jesus Christ as explained by God’s Word? If so, then you are saved; you are “born again,”; you have “passed from death unto life.” God says so! Take God at His Word, and go on your way rejoicing!
One Final Word
You may “belong to a church,” you may be “trying to do the best you can,” you may be “striving to live right.” Your outward life may be the model of moral correctness, and you may be looked up to, honored, revered, and respected. Yet, if you have not been “born again,” you are just as lost as if you had never heard of Christ. Yes, you may teach in the Sunday school, read the Bible, sing, shout, “feel happy,” and all the rest—but if you have never been “born again,” you are still in your sins and a stranger to the Lord Jesus Christ.
If you want to be saved from the wrath to come and from an eternity in Hell, and if you believe that Jesus Christ suffered, bled, and died on the cross for your sins, was buried, and rose again from the dead, and you are willing to trust Jesus Christ with all of your heart so you can go to Heaven, please pray with me what is called the sinner’s prayer:
Holy Father God, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I admit that I have sinned against You and that I have broken Your Ten Commandments. I have lied before. I have stolen things before. I have lusted after people and things before. I have dishonored and disobeyed my parents. I have taken Your holy Name in vain. For Jesus Christ’s sake, please have mercy and grace upon my soul and forgive me of all of my sins, my failures, and my faults. As I now believe in Your Holy Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe that He suffered, bled, and died on the cross for my sins, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart, save my soul, and change my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me repent of my past sins. Help me turn from my old, evil life and follow You into a new life. For it is in Your Name I pray. Amen.
