In a 36-minute video released Tuesday night, Daystar TV President Joni Lamb denied a report that she used $100,000 of Daystar funds to pay for her 2023 honeymoon with husband Doug Weiss.
“There are questions about—it’s all over the internet—that Daystar paid $100,000 for my honeymoon,” Lamb said on the video. “So, absolutely not—not one penny of Daystar’s money was used for our honeymoon. We paid for our honeymoon, okay? So again, that’s another lie that’s out there.”

However, The Roys Report (TRR) has obtained two Daystar expense reports, showing Lamb charged about $100,000 to her Daystar credit card for a resort in Los Cabos, Mexico, where the couple honeymooned.
Plus, former Daystar Vice President Jonathan Lamb told TRR that when he objected to the honeymoon charges at an August 2023 Daystar board meeting Joni attended, board member Tom Calender decided to “gift” the $100,000 for the honeymoon to Joni.
Jonathan said it’s possible Joni has since reimbursed the ministry for the honeymoon, especially now that the information has gone public. The last he had oversight over Daystar’s finances was November 16, 2023, Jonathan told TRR.
TRR reached out to Daystar, asking for documentation, showing that Joni reimbursed Daystar for the honeymoon charges and also showing when the reimbursement was made.
Daystar replied with a statement but did not provide any documentation. “All charges by Joni Lamb on a corporate credit card that are personal expenses are fully accounted for and reimbursed in full by Joni Lamb,” Daystar wrote in an email. “This has been and will always be the accounting practice at Daystar. Daystar’s finances are subjected to an independent, third-party audit by an accounting firm on an annual basis.”
TRR replied immediately, asking again, “When were the charges reimbursed? Also, can you show documentation that Joni reimbursed the charges?”
Daystar did not immediately reply.
Joni Lamb’s expense report for October 2022 shows a charge of $36,780.32 for Ventananas Al Paraiso, a luxury resort in Los Cabos, Mexico. A note by the charge says, “Ms. Joni Lamb and Mr. Doug Weiss – *Use US Bank Rebate/Points*”
A second expense report of Joni’s for May 2023 shows a charge of $60,041.68 for the same resort. Similarly, a note by the charge says, “Ms. Joni Lamb and Mr. Doug Weiss – *Use US Bank Rebate/Points*”
Though the couple took the honeymoon in July 2023, Joni paid for it in advance using a company credit card, according to Jonathan Lamb whose job at the time included approving expense reports.
Jonathan told TRR that the notes on the expense report would have been written by Joni’s assistant, but Joni would have instructed her what to write. And the practice of using Daystar credit card points to pay for personal expenses had started years earlier, when Jonathan’s father, the late Marcus Lamb, was CEO of Daystar.
However, Jonathan told TRR that he consulted with Daystar CFO Arnold Torres, who then checked with Eddy Liesdyanto, Daystar head of accounting, to see how many points were available. Liesdyanto told Jonathan that the credit card hadn’t accumulated enough points to cover the charges, Jonathan said. As a result, Jonathan said he had to use Daystar funds to pay the credit card bill.
According to an itemized resort bill obtained by TRR, the total charges for the honeymoon, including food, drinks, and tips was $103,818.
At a board meeting Aug. 23, 2023, Jonathan said he objected to Daystar paying for the honeymoon. At the time, the board was comprised of only three members—Jonathan, Joni, and Attorney Tom Calender, according to Jonathan Lamb.
Calender then decided to “gift” the approximately $100,000 to Joni from Daystar, Jonathan said.
A month later, on Sept. 26, 2023, Jonathan met with Calendar, Daystar CFO Arnold Torres, and Attorney John Lynch to discuss issues he had with his mother and the ministry. At one point, Jonathan mentions his objection to Daystar paying for Joni’s honeymoon.
“On the show today, she was actually kind of throwing me under the bus by saying that one of the challenges she’s been dealing with is that people will not always submit,” Jonathan says.
“But I emailed her back. I just said, ‘Mom, I’ve always submitted to you, even when I don’t agree. I didn’t agree that Daystar paid your $100,000 honeymoon. I didn’t agree that Daystar paid for $5,500 of Rachel’s photography, personal photography expenses. I didn’t agree with Doug being the host of Ministry Now. But I’ve submitted to that. The only—where I draw the line is the Word of God. I will never compromise the Word of God.”
No one on the recording contests Jonathan’s assertion that Daystar paid for the honeymoon.

On June 10, 2023, Joni married Doug Weiss, a sex therapist and repeat guest on Daystar TV who’s no relation to JW Weiss. Doug Weiss had filed for divorce from his wife of 30 years on January 27, 2022, just two months after Marcus died.
And according to Jonathan and Suzy, the meeting with Evans in July 2023 was an attempt to bully the couple into publicly supporting Joni’s second marriage.
A family divided
According to Jonathan and Suzy, none of Joni’s kids or their spouses agreed with Joni’s marriage to Weiss. They all believed Weiss lacked biblical grounds for divorcing his wife, and that by marrying him, Joni was committing adultery.
Just two months before the wedding, a longtime friend of Daystar, Denise Boggs of Living Waters Ministry, wrote an impassioned letter to Joni’s family, urging them to intervene. Boggs not only knew Joni well but had also counseled Doug Weiss and Lisa Weiss just prior to their divorce.
Boggs wrote that she had voiced concerns about Weiss to Joni “but she refused to hear me.” Now, Boggs said Joni was “under a spirit of deception” due to Weiss’ influence.
“He is a wolf in sheep’s clothing,” Boggs wrote. “(H)e is of no caliber for such a high platform.”
She added, “Joni didn’t endorse divorce until she came under his deception. Using the Daystar platform, the enemy has successfully mocked the marriage covenant using one of the strongest Christian TV (n)etwork’s (sic) in the nation.”
Jonathan told TRR that he gathered his family to confront Joni two days after receiving the letter. But Joni allowed “each person no more than 60 seconds to share their heart . . . says all she sees from us is fear and rushes out the door to go fly off to New York with Doug,” Jonathan said.
After Joni and Doug Weiss were married, Jonathan and Suzy remained uneasy about the marriage. But on July 5, 2023, they were asked to read a viewer comment on air, praising Joni’s recent marriage to Weiss. The couple refused to do so because they felt it would give tacit approval to the marriage. Their refusal apparently deeply offended Joni.
This prompted the meeting with Evans—in which Evans and Joni equated Joni’s wishes with God’s, and Jonathan and Suzy’s opposition with Satan.

And please do not try to tell us that your wife, Lisa, committed adultery because no one will believe that unless she tells us herself verbally or in writing. We’re talking about physical, gross, repeated adultery. Anything less than that, you, too, can forgive and go on in the marriage as you have counseled some of your clients.
Daniel Whyte III, President of Gospel Light Society International, warns Joni Lamb that this man is not sincere, and since this is not going to last long, get a prenup in your favor, keep your money one hundred percent separate from his, let him know up-front that he is not replacing Marcus Lamb as head of DayStar, tell him “you got this” and make sure he understands that he is still just a guest, and ask him to keep and maintain his own house just in case. Joni, tell him that he must pay the mortgage and all the bills for the marriage house he will build for you with his money. You keep your house, but do not let him move into the house that you had with Marcus. You keep that as a memento, and for when you need to escape to a quiet place and to meet with your children and grandchildren, FOR YOUR SON MAY NOT WANT TO MEET YOU AT THE NEW HOUSE WHERE YOU ARE WITH ANOTHER MAN BESIDES HIS FATHER. By the way, he should pay all the bills for the newly built house you will share.
Whyte says to Weiss in closing, as he well knows, we are living in an age when so-called Christians, particularly Charismatic-evangelicals, see, what they want, divorce their spouses of many years, and go get what they want, no matter what God says. Then, of course, they suffer the consequences, and then, their latter end is worse than their beginning. Doug Weiss, you, of all people, have seen this many times. Don’t mess up Joni Lamb’s life with sinful foolishness that you know will not work. Go back to your wife and be content for the glory of God. The Bible says in 2 Timothy 3:1-2, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. FOR MEN SHALL BE LOVERS OF THEIR OWN SELVES. . .”

During their time at Daystar, former Vice President Jonathan Lamb and his wife, Suzy Lamb, say they were repeatedly spiritually abused and bullied by Jonathan’s mother, Daystar President Joni Lamb, and her allies.
Most blatantly, they say, Joni “ambushed” the couple by bringing in Christian heavy-hitter Jimmy Evans, founder of XO Marriage, for a meeting on July 11, 2023. Not only did Joni shame her son by telling him his wife had him “by the balls,” but Evans pressured Jonathan to submit to his mother, claiming she had godlike authority.
“Submission means she is the voice of God to you . . .” Evans told Jonathan and Suzy on a recording the couple gave to The Roys Report (TRR).
“I’m sorry. Can you clarify?” Jonathan asked. “She’s the voice of God to me?”
“She’s the voice of God to you,” Evans said.
“So, I can’t hear from God? I have to hear from her?” Jonathan asked.
“Outside of Daystar,” Evans replied. “What she says is God in Daystar. This is the voice of God in Daystar.”
The contentious meeting came about two years after Jonathan caught a family member in a compromising situation with his daughter and accused him of molesting the girl. As reported previously by TRR, Jonathan and Suzy claimed that Joni and her late husband, Daystar Co-Founder Marcus Lamb, immediately defended the family member and declared him innocent.
This caused a major rift in the family. But a few weeks later, in late August 2021, Marcus told Jonathan and his brother-in-law, Jonathan “JW” Weiss, that an internal investigation had cleared the family member. (The couple found out much later about critical deficiencies in that investigation.) Then, in November 2021, Marcus died unexpectedly from complications related to COVID.
On June 10, 2023, Joni married Doug Weiss, a sex therapist and repeat guest on Daystar TV who’s no relation to JW Weiss. Doug Weiss had filed for divorce from his wife of 30 years on January 27, 2022, just two months after Marcus died.
And according to Jonathan and Suzy, the meeting with Evans in July 2023 was an attempt to bully the couple into publicly supporting Joni’s second marriage.
A family divided
According to Jonathan and Suzy, none of Joni’s kids or their spouses agreed with Joni’s marriage to Weiss. They all believed Weiss lacked biblical grounds for divorcing his wife, and that by marrying him, Joni was committing adultery.
Just two months before the wedding, a longtime friend of Daystar, Denise Boggs of Living Waters Ministry, wrote an impassioned letter to Joni’s family, urging them to intervene. Boggs not only knew Joni well but had also counseled Doug Weiss and Lisa Weiss just prior to their divorce.
Boggs wrote that she had voiced concerns about Weiss to Joni “but she refused to hear me.” Now, Boggs said Joni was “under a spirit of deception” due to Weiss’ influence.
“He is a wolf in sheep’s clothing,” Boggs wrote. “(H)e is of no caliber for such a high platform.”
She added, “Joni didn’t endorse divorce until she came under his deception. Using the Daystar platform, the enemy has successfully mocked the marriage covenant using one of the strongest Christian TV (n)etwork’s (sic) in the nation.”
Jonathan told TRR that he gathered his family to confront Joni two days after receiving the letter. But Joni allowed “each person no more than 60 seconds to share their heart . . . says all she sees from us is fear and rushes out the door to go fly off to New York with Doug,” Jonathan said.
After Joni and Doug Weiss were married, Jonathan and Suzy remained uneasy about the marriage. But on July 5, 2023, they were asked to read a viewer comment on air, praising Joni’s recent marriage to Weiss. The couple refused to do so because they felt it would give tacit approval to the marriage. Their refusal apparently deeply offended Joni.
This prompted the meeting with Evans—in which Evans and Joni equated Joni’s wishes with God’s, and Jonathan and Suzy’s opposition with Satan.
In his 2017 book Broken Trust, consultant and pastoral coach F. Remy Diederich writes, “Spiritual abuse happens when people use God, or their supposed relationship with God, to control behavior for their benefit.”
Jonathan and Suzy said this is precisely what Evans and Joni were doing.
‘We’re God’s representatives’
On the recording of the meeting, Evans asks Jonathan, “If God came to you right now—and He is—saying you made a mistake, would you correct it? And that’s exactly what’s happening.”
“Of course, without question,” Jonathan replies.
“But you’re not!” Evans says.
“No, but God didn’t appear. He didn’t speak (inaudible),” Jonathan says.
“God has spoken to you,” Joni interrupts. “He spoke to you through me. He spoke to you through Jimmy.”
“You’re not God,” Jonathan says.
“But we’re God’s representatives,” Evans says.
“We’re God’s representatives,” Joni repeats.
Joni and Evans also appeal to their ministry experience as a basis of their authority over Jonathan and Suzy.
“You’ve got 80 years of experience sitting right here talking to you,” Evans says. “It’s a spirit, Jonathan. It’s a spirit that you won’t listen—not just to authority, but to experience.”
“Did you pastor for 41 years and work with marriages?” Joni adds. “I don’t think so. You have about a thumbnail of experience compared to us.”
Elsewhere in the meeting, Jonathan inquires who has authority over Joni.
“What accountability does she have if she’s off?” he asks.
“Well, she has a husband. She has a board,” Evans says.
“I’m on the board,” Jonathan replies.
At the time, the only people on Daystar’s board were Jonathan, Joni, and Tom Calender, a lawyer and Joni’s longtime friend, Jonathan told TRR.
“Yeah, but individually, you’re not her accountability. Individually, you’re her employee,” Evans insists. “. . . She’s the voice of God in Daystar.”
“There’s no other accountability at Daystar,” Jonathan complains.
Then, Evans appeals to Scripture, saying, “Romans 13 tells us to submit to authority, all authority, because it’s established by God . . .”
Jonathan again objects, “No, but I’m saying, who . . . is her accountability at Daystar?”
“But that’s not your concern,” Evans asserts. “Your concern is to do what she says. And if you can’t, you can’t be here.”
Then, Joni interjects: “Tell him what the Lord told you about stubbornness, what it leads to.”
“What the Bible says, this was related to Saul, . . . that rebellion is the sin of witchcraft,” Evans says. “And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. And so, it equates stubbornness with being an idol worshiper. And the reason it does is because stubbornness is the worship of your own opinion. And that’s what y’all are doing. You’re being stubborn. You’re, you’re making an idol out of your own opinion, related to Doug (Weiss).”
Elsewhere in the meeting, Joni similarly accuses Jonathan of making his opinion “an idol” and warns him of the consequences.
“God wouldn’t be pleased with this,” Joni says. “. . . And you’ve opened up yourself, both of you, to demonic activity in your family and with your kids by your rebellion against me.”
Jonathan and Suzy object, saying it’s not rebellion.
“It is rebellion,” Joni asserts. “You’ll bring a curse upon you and your kids.”
At one point in the meeting, Joni accuses Suzy of being led by her feelings and points to the sex abuse allegations from 2021 as an example of how unreliable Suzy’s feelings are.
“There was an issue with (family member), and I’m not going to tell you that, because I know they wouldn’t want me to share it,” Joni tells Evans. “But Susie was completely convinced, and Jonathan was completely convinced that (family member) was doing something that he absolutely was innocent of. And it was a terrible thing to happen in our family. But she drove that thing for a lot. It’s the same thing. It’s exactly the same.”
The conflict reaches a crescendo 15 minutes later with Joni and Suzy going head-to-head about Suzy refusing to read the viewer comment.
“If I’m not comfortable, then I have to stick with my convictions,” Suzy tells Joni.
“. . . It’s not your right to agree or disagree with it,” Joni tells Suzy. “If a viewer has a comment about me or you or anybody else, it’s a nice comment. That’s a good thing to read it. . . . It doesn’t have anything to do with you. You’re reading a viewer comment.”
“I’m representing it. It’s a lie,” Suzy says.
“You’re not representing anything!” Joni replies.
“I’m reading it!” Suzy says.
“It’s not a lie! It’s not a lie!” Joni objects.
“It’s a lie if I say something I don’t believe,” Suzy replies.
“. . . It has nothing to do with you. It is a viewer comment. It’s not a Suzy comment. It’s a viewer comment,” Joni says.
“I can’t go against my convictions in that. . .” Suzy says.
“Don’t come back then,” Joni replies. “You’re gone. You’re fired. If you can’t read a nice comment about Doug, I don’t want you here. You won’t do ‘The Green Room’ (Jonathan and Suzy’s show on Daystar). You won’t do anything.”
After Suzy is fired, Jimmy and Joni turn their attention to Jonathan, asking if he’d read the comment, if asked to do so again.
Repeatedly, Jonathan asks Joni to respect his wishes.
“All I want to hear is that you’ll submit to my authority,” Joni says. “That’s all. I don’t want to hear anything else. I don’t want to hear about your personal convictions.”
Jonathan says he will submit to Joni. But when Evans asks if that means Jonathan would read the comment if asked to read it today, there’s a long pause. Then Evans says, “See, now you’re in trouble with her.”
Suzy objects to being made “some bad guy.”
Then Joni says, “You are bad, Suzy. You’ve got him by the balls and you know it.”
“Babe, they’re really scary,” Suzy says to Jonathan. “They think horrible things. I’ve got you ‘by the balls’? Who talks like this?”
“. . . You gave him a look,” Joni says.
“I gave him a look of pity, like . . . you’re cornering him. This is so evil, what is happening,” Suzy replies.
“No, what is evil is you,” Joni says. “What’s evil is you and the spirit that’s driving you . . .”
At the end of the meeting, Suzy appears to leave the room, leaving Jonathan alone with his mom and Evans.
Joni encourages Jonathan to “draw the line in the sand” with Suzy. “You’re going to pay hell for it but stand your ground.”
Jonathan tells his mother that he and Suzy are “on the same page,” but she appears to not hear what he said.
“. . . You are about to catch hell, so you handle her,” Joni says. “You’re her covering. Handle her.”
Then, speaking to Evans, Joni says, “This is going to be his Alamo, so he’s going to handle it and handle her—or not. But I can tell him, this will probably decide your leadership role here at Daystar, how you handle that.”

Canadian broadcaster Laura-Lynn Tyler Thompson announced in a live broadcast yesterday that she is pulling her daily TV program, Laura-Lynn Live at the Eagle’s Nest, from Daystar TV due to “ethical deficits” in the network.
“It is with great sadness and personal angst that we are going to give notice to Daystar Canada that we will be removing our show from their network . . . due to what we perceive to be numerous ethical deficits,” Thompson said.
She added that the most important deficit was the “failure of senior executives, and in this case, parents to properly align with their son and daughter in law, who had sincere, rational, and earnest concerns that their child had been molested by a family member.”
Thompson’s show aired on Daystar Canada’s dedicated cable channel, reaching 17 million people nationwide, according to Daystar’s website. Worldwide, Daystar’s network includes more than 100 stations and is reportedly worth $1 billion.
As reported by The Roys Report (TRR), former Daystar Vice President Jonathan Lamb and his wife, Suzy, claim that Jonathan’s mother, Daystar President Joni Lamb, covered up the abuse of their daughter by a family member.
Daystar denies the allegation, adding that an “internal investigation . . . concluded with no wrongdoing found nor evidence provided that corroborated the allegation.”
Throughout the 44-minute broadcast, Thompson cited TRR’s articles on the scandal, as well as audio we’ve published and statements by Jonathan and Suzy and Daystar.
“We have watched all the videos, read, every statement and every article written. I have personally consulted with my board and those whose discernment I deeply trust,” Thompson said. “We are in unanimous agreement that there is a deep crack in the foundation of Daystar, and we are unable to build on it.”
She added, “Joani and Marcus covered up a deep, profound concern and what we further believe to be shocking evidence that their . . . grandchild may have been harmed by a family member.”
Thompson noted that the first she learned of the “recent trouble” was through a video Jonathan and Suzy released a week ago, stating that they were in hiding and “had been followed, threatened, and intimidated.”
“These particular startling revelations have not been addressed by Daystar, and remain a very disturbing aspect of this story,” Thompson said. “Why would they feel that they were literally in danger?”
Thompson then mentioned TRR’s “three disturbing reports on the situation, which have grown more complex and revealing with every article.”
Thompson noted that in our first article, we reported that “Pete,” a pseudonym for a Lamb family member, was caught in a bedroom with Jonathan and Suzy’s naked daughter.
“After this was released, our first question was: why is a grown male family member at a (beach) retreat, who is not the father, in a bedroom with a naked child?” Thompson said. “Period. End of story. And absolutely unacceptable under any circumstances. Answers to this question have not been adequate and remain completely in supportable to any rational adult.”
Thompson also noted our report that Lamb’s daughter had told her mother about her abuse prior to the incident at the beach, showing with her hands how she had been touched. But instead of reporting both of these incidents to police, Daystar, by its own admission, conducted an “internal investigation,” which it claims cleared Pete of wrongdoing.
Later, Denise Boggs, who reportedly coordinated that “investigation,” told Jonathan and Suzy that the inquiry did not clear Pete.
“Why was there not an immediate investigation with sober integrity to get to the truth?” Thompson asks. “Most importantly, where was the loyalty to stand with Jonathan and Suzy in this horrendous reality they were now coping with? The best opportunity for any such allegations to be found completely false would be immediate and necessary, professional examination of all facts by independent experts and police. All of this would have showed transparency, integrity and most of all, a deep love and commitment to their son, daughter in law and precious grandchild.”
Thompson also explained another source of contention between Jonathan and Suzy and Joni we reported—Joni’s marriage to Doug Weiss, which the couple believed was not biblical. Because of this conviction, the couple refused to read a listener comment, praising Joni and Doug’s marriage, which prompted Joni to accuse them of rebellion.
“I think even at this point, there could have been just an understanding that (Jonathan and Suzy) would not be doing things that support a relationship that they feel has been entered into in error,” Thompson says. “And that was just not possible. And I’m not certain why there would have to be this kind of control and difficulty.”

THE BIG QUESTION
GOSPEL LIGHT MINUTE X #447 WITH DANIEL WHYTE III
This is the “Chief of sinners,” Daniel Whyte III, president of Gospel Light Society International, with the Gospel Light Minute X Podcast #447 titled, “The Big Question” I’m here to remind you of what the Bible says, that “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” like you and me.
“HAVE YOU BEEN BORN AGAIN?”
The question is not “Have you joined a church?” or “Are you trying to do your best?” or “Do you have religion?” but “Are you twice-born?” Jesus Christ said in John 3:3, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God”.
We enter the physical world by birth. Spiritual life likewise is entered with a birth. We become members of a human family by birth; we become members of the family of God by birth, by being “born again.” There is no other way to get into the human family except by birth, and there is no other way to get into God’s family except by the new birth. Neither education, nor cultivation, nor reformation, nor “turning over a new leaf,” will accomplish this. What is needed is not a new “leaf” but a new “life”! “Ye must be born again” (John 3:7).
A New Nature Needed
By physical birth we become partakers of human nature; by being born again we become “partakers of the divine nature”. A Christian is the product of a divine “begetting”. The second birth is not an improvement of the old nature; it is the imparting of an entirely new nature. The old nature is hopelessly corrupt and incapable of ever being made fit for His presence. The new birth requires a creative act of the Holy Spirit. “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature”.
Not “Trying” But “Trusting”
“Trying to follow Christ” is not Christianity. Christianity is not imitation of Christ, it is the indwelling of Christ. Christianity is not trying to do anything. It is trusting Christ Who has done it all! He has “finished the work” and there is nothing left to do but simply to receive and trust Him. He shed His precious blood on the cross and the work is all done once and forever! Cease trying and begin trusting! Believers will progressively become more and more like Christ, but by His power, not their own.
What Must I Do To Be Saved?
Simply “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ”. The Bible says in 1 John 5:1, “Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God”. The Bible states in John 1:12,13, “As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God”.
You are born again, you become a Christian by trusting a Person—receiving a Person. The very moment you do this, the Lord Jesus Christ comes in and life begins!
What Is Meant By “Believe”?
To “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ” means more than simply believing the historic facts concerning Him. Intellectual belief about Christ is not sufficient. The belief that brings salvation must be “with the heart,” that is, with the whole being. This belief also includes repentance: “Repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ”. The Bible states in Acts 17:30, “God … now commandeth all men every where to repent”.
The faith which saves, then, includes the necessity to repent, and to receive Christ as Saviour and Lord, to rest upon Him alone for salvation. It means to trust Him so utterly and completely that, if He should fail, there would be no hope at all!
May I Know That I Am Born Again?
This is an important question. We know that we are born again by the testimony of God’s Word. God says in John 5:24, “He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life”. Have you believed on the Lord Jesus Christ as explained by God’s Word? If so, then you are saved, you are “born again,” you have “passed from death unto life.” God says so! Take God at His Word, and go on your way rejoicing!
One Final Word
You may “belong to a church,” you may be “trying to do the best you can,” you may be “striving to live right.” Your outward life may be the model of moral correctness, and you may be looked up to, honored, revered, and respected. Yet, if you have not been “born again” you are just as lost as if you had never heard of Christ. Yes, you may teach in the Sunday school, read the Bible, sing, shout, “feel happy,” and all the rest—but if you have never been “born again” you are still in your sins and a stranger to the Lord Jesus Christ!.
If you want to be saved from the wrath to come and from an eternity in Hell, and if you believe that Jesus Christ suffered, bled, and died on the cross for your sins, was buried, and rose again from the dead and you are willing to trust Jesus Christ with all of your heart so you can go to Heaven, please pray with me what is called the sinner’s prayer: Holy Father God, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I admit that I have sinned against You and that I have broken Your Ten Commandments. I have lied before. I have stolen things before. I have lusted after people and things before. I have dishonored and disobeyed my parents. I have taken Your holy Name in vain. For Jesus Christ’s sake, please have mercy and grace upon my soul and forgive me of all of my sins, my failures, and my faults. As I now believe in Your Holy Son the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe that He suffered, bled, and died on the cross for my sins, was buried and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to repent of my sins past. Help me to turn from my old, evil life and follow You in the new life. For it is in Your Name I pray. Amen.
