DANIEL WHYTE III, PRESIDENT OF GOSPEL LIGHT SOCIETY INTERNATIONAL, LOVINGLY WARNS CHANNING TATUM AND OTHER MEN BY QUOTING MAYA ANGELOU: “WHEN SOMEONE SHOWS YOU WHO THEY ARE, BELIEVE THEM THE FIRST TIME.” WHYTE SAYS THAT EVEN THOUGH THIS IS A LIGHT MATTER TO HIM, MARRIAGE IS VERY SERIOUS AND SHOULD BE VERY LONG AND DIVORCE IS VERY COSTLY AND PAINFUL. HE PREDICTED BEFORE BEN AFFLECK AND THE VOLUPTUOUS J-LO GOT MARRIED THAT IT WAS NOT GOING TO WORK BECAUSE OF THE CONSTANT WEIRD, STINK LOOK THAT BEN AFFLECK HAD ON HIS FACE IN EVERY PICTURE WITH JENNY ON THE BLOCK — THAT LOOK OF “WHAT IN THE WORLD AM I GETTING MYSELF INTO?”
IN THESE PICTURES BELOW, CHANNING HAS THAT SAME STINK LOOK ON HIS FACE OF “WHAT IN THE WORLD AM I GETTING MYSELF INTO?” WHYTE SAYS IF THIS IS AN AGENT/STUDIO-ARRANGED MARRIAGE, THEN YOU PEOPLE DO WHAT YOU DO. HOWEVER, IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT THIS MARRIAGE, YOU NEED TO TAKE NOTE THAT THIS WOMAN, ZOE, IS CLASSIFYING YOU AS THE “YOU’RE SO SWEET” GUY BY THANKING YOU BEFORE YOU GET MARRIED FOR ALLOWING HER TO BE, ACCORDING TO HER WORDS, “OCD (OBSESSIVE-COMPULSIVE DISORDER), A PSYCHO, A CONTROL FREAK,” AND FOR ALLOWING HER TO “FEMALE DIRECT YOU.” OF COURSE, THIS IS ALL SUPPOSED TO BE SAID IN JEST AND IS SUPPOSED TO BE “CUTE.”
WHYTE TELLS CHANNING THAT IF SHE IS “JOKING” LIKE THAT ALREADY BEFORE THE MARRIAGE AND IS CALLING YOU THE “YOU’RE SO SWEET” GUY, SHE IS GOING TO EXPECT YOU TO DO THIS THROUGHOUT YOUR MARRIAGE. WHYTE SAYS RUN, BROTHER! DON’T WALK! BECAUSE NO REAL MAN IS THAT SWEET, AND NO REAL MAN CAN TAKE THAT FOR YEARS AND YEARS. IF YOU ARE GOING TO MARRY HER, YOU NEED TO NIP THAT IN THE BUD RIGHT NOW BECAUSE IF YOU DON’T YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE THAT STINK “WHAT HAVE I GOTTEN MYSELF INTO?” LOOK ON YOUR FACE FOR A LONG TIME, AND YOU WILL BE IN DIVORCE COURT. YOU ARE BOTH GROWN. DO AS YOU PLEASE. JUST A WORD TO THE WISE.
‘You supported me in every way. From producing to performing to the pep talks to HOLDING MY HEAD OR MY FEET WHILE I CRIED ON THE BATHROOM FLOOR because I thought I f—– it all up.
‘Thank you for letting me be a COMPLETE OCD, PSYCHO, CONTROL FREAK. Thank you for your patience,’ she said.
‘Making this film with you has been an awfully great adventure. Thank you for trusting me to FEMALE DIRECT YOU.
Channing Tatum had nothing but high praise for his fiancée Zoë Kravitz at the premiere of her directorial debut Blink Twice.
‘To get to create something with someone that you love is probably one of the most gratifying things other than having a kid with somebody I think,’ Tatum, 44, told People when asked what the ‘best part’ about shooting a movie with his partner was.
‘It’s one of those… you truly are creating something from nothing and it’s just like creating a marriage or creating something where you’re like, everything that we are is going into this thing and you want to make it with people that you love,’ he added.
The lovebirds met when Zoë, 35, cast Channing in her directorial debut, which she also co-wrote.
‘She brought me a script, and it was definitely something that no one has ever thought of me for,’ Tatum told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show last month. ‘And I really was like, ‘Wow. Why do you want me for this?”
‘It was a long journey. She’s been writing it for like five, six years now,’ Tatum explained.
‘I had one meeting with her, and then she went away for like a year and a half to work on the thing,’ he continued. ‘
‘Then my producer came to me and was like, ‘Look, this thing’s getting really good. We might actually make this.’ And then I read it, and it was. It was really, really good,’
‘I’m just going to tell you, it’s a wild, wild movie… You’ll see me in a different way than you’ve ever seen me, that’s for sure,’ he teased.
Tatum plays Slater King in the thriller also starring Naomi Ackie, 31. She plays a cocktail waitress who has a crush on King. When they travel to his private island together, tensions rise and things go wrong.
