An Israeli billionaire says he and his wife are quitting the board of Harvard University’s famous Kennedy School of Business over the school’s president’s response to the surprise Hamas attacks in Israel.

Idan Ofer is the founder of Eastern Pacific Shipping reportedly worth over $14billion, according to Forbes. His wife Batia is an art collector and the descendant of Holocaust survivors.

Batia Ofer told the Hebrew-language outlet TheMarker that she and her husband are both quitting the school’s executive board over President Claudine Gay’s response to 31 Harvard organizations signing a letter placed the blame on Israel for Hamas‘ brutal attacks that have killed over 1,500.

Their actions are ‘in protest of the shocking and insensitive response by the president of the university, who did not condemn the letter by student organizations who blamed Israel for the massacres.’

‘We write to you today heartbroken by the death and destruction unleashed by the attack by Hamas that targeted citizens in Israel this weekend, and by the war in Israel and Gaza now underway,’ Harvard administrators wrote in the statement from Monday, credited to Gay.

The statement’s lack of explicit condemnation for the terrorist group Hamas incited outrage from many Harvard alums.

Gay had to issue a follow-up statement clarifying her words on Tuesday.

‘As the events of recent days continue to reverberate, let there be no doubt that I condemn the terrorist atrocities perpetrated by Hamas,’ she wrote.

‘Such inhumanity is abhorrent, whatever one’s individual views of the origins of longstanding conflicts in the region.’

For the Ofers – one of the wealthiest families in Israel, with Idan a majority shareloder of the country’s largest holding companies and co-owner of soccer powerhouse Atletico Madrid – the statement clearly isn’t enough.

Harvard has yet to respond with a comment on the matter.

The organizations released a letter to the public as a ‘Joint Statement by Harvard Palestine Solidarity Groups on the Situation in Palestine’ on Sunday to condemn Israel in the wake of the violence. Several Kennedy School groups were signatories.

They claim that Hamas’ attacks, which are still ongoing, ‘did not happen in a vacuum’ and the Israeli government has forced Palestinians to live in ‘an open-air prison for over two decades.’

‘We, the undersigned student organizations, hold the Israeli regime entirely responsible for all unfolding violence,’ the groups wrote.

It’s another moment of contention for the school just a day after a professor was forced to apologize for implying the Hamas attack on Israel was an attempt to distract from Benjamin Netanyahu‘s ‘own corruption.’

The groups then repeat a familiar trope of the left in accusing the Israeli government of forcing Palestine to live under an apartheid state.

‘The apartheid regime is the only one to blame. Israeli violence has structured every aspect of Palestinian existence for 75 years,’ they continue.

‘From systematized land seizures to routine airstrikes, arbitrary detentions to military checkpoints, and enforced family separations to targeted killings, Palestinians have been forced to live in a state of death, both slow and sudden.’

Despite the many dead in Israel, including at least four Americans, the groups’ asked for an end to brutalization of Palestinians to conclude the letter.

‘Today, the Palestinian ordeal enters into uncharted territory. The coming days will require a firm stand against colonial retaliation. We call on the Harvard community to take action to stop the ongoing annihilation of Palestinians.’

The Palestine Solidarity Committee has held inflammatory events in relation to the conflict, including protests, an ‘Apartheid Week’ and a ‘Boycott Israel Trek.’

The group has also taken credit for getting the Harvard Crimson – the school’s long-running student newspaper – to support BDS, or Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions of Israel.

The groups include the school’s African American Resistance Organization, Amnesty International, ‘Harvard Act on a Dream,’ groups of Muslim and South Asian students from the Kennedy and Chan schools, the Harvard Islamic Society and Harvard Jews for Liberation.

As the full scale of the horrors of the weekend were coming into focus, Israel’s military was ramping up preparations for a ground invasion, and Hamas was continuing to launch rockets into Israel.

‘Now is the time for war,’ said Israel’s military chief, Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi, as his country amassed tanks near the Gaza Strip.

At least 260 were killed in the massacre while many are still missing – either dead or taken hostage by the bloodthirsty militants

Seeking to build support for its response, Israel’s government showed U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and NATO defense ministers graphic images of children and civilians they said Hamas had killed in a weekend rampage in Israel.

Blinken said they showed a baby ‘riddled with bullets,’ soldiers beheaded and young people burned in their cars.

‘It’s simply depravity in the worst imaginable way,’ he said. ‘It’s really beyond anything that we can comprehend.’

Israel has vowed to retaliate for the attack – the deadliest by Palestinian militants in Israeli history.

Megachurch Pastor Jamal Bryant called a group of black supporters of President Donald Trump “runaway slaves” and “coons” on Sunday after they appeared to mock him at a recent Black History Month reception at the White House.

In a clip from his sermon on Sunday, the leader of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Stonecrest, Georgia, highlighted a video from the reception, which first appeared on the X profile of prominent black Trump supporter, podcast host and entrepreneur David Harris Jr.

The video, then shared on X by The Grio Senior White House Correspondent April Ryan on Friday, shows a black Trump supporter at the reception with a cardboard cutout of Bryant’s head in the crowd as they celebrated the appointment of FBI Director Kash Patel.

“Here at the Black History Month celebration at the White House. Everybody here, Kash Patel has been confirmed as the FBI director. Who’s ready for some heads to roll?” Harris asked the group.

“Kash, I know you got the receipts. Hold them mother suckas accountable,” he continued as the supporter in the crowd bobbed the cutout of Bryant’s head.

“That’s right,” said Harris with a wry grin acknowledging the megachurch pastor’s likeness. “Jamal, yeah. That’s right.”

Bryant, who is pushing a 40-day boycott of retail giant Target over the company’s abandonment of its diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, did not take the dig at him lightly.

“These runaway slaves hiding in the White House going to throw my picture up thinking I’m going to be afraid. If you got real courage, don’t show my picture. Show the picture of the one that fired the black joint chief of staff from the military. If you going to show a picture, show a picture of the CEO of Target, Walmart, McDonald’s, and Amazon that does not recognize black dollars or black business,” Bryant said as he recited a list of apparent wrongs he attributes to the Trump administration.

“If you going to put up a picture, put up a picture of the state legislators in Florida that are banning black books, put up a picture of the one stealing classified information from the IRS and Social Security. … Put up a picture of those that don’t want your mama to pay $35 for insulin.”

Bryant, who has long expressed his disdain for Trump and Republicans, said they miscalculated his background if they expected to make him scared.

“I ain’t ever scared. In case you forgot, I’m from the West Side of Baltimore. If you’ve got a problem, pull up on me!” he declared to thunderous shouts from his congregants.

“Harriet Tubman said whenever I tried to make our people be free, there were a few negroes that tried to go backwards and tried to risk our freedoms. I feel bad for them coons in the White House who were in their tap dancing for massa [master], wearing bow tie shinning and grinning. … Get out of there negro and stand with your people,” he declared.

In a statement to WSB-TV 2 Bryant said he was surprised he was singled out as a potential target for the FBI to investigate.

“To be singled out at a White House reception as a potential target to be ‘held accountable’ by the newly appointed FBI director was not on my 2025 bingo card. … But let me be clear that no amount of intimidation or political pressure will silence the truth,” Bryant said.

“I stand firm in my commitment to speak out against this administration or any corporation that seeks to erode generations of progress among marginalized communities. It is not only my right but it’s our collective responsibility as citizens to hold the powerful accountable. At this critical moment, we must collectively resist any radical actions that threaten the very foundations of our democracy.”

After black inner-city pastors prayed with Trump at the White House in 2018, during Trump’s first term, Bryant posted on social media that the event was nothing more than a “photo op.”

In 2015, when Trump was running his first campaign for the Republican presidential nomination, Bryant called black pastors who met with Trump worse than prostitutes.

“I want to apologize because prostitutes get money,” Bryant, who served at Empowerment Temple church in Baltimore, Maryland, at the time, said on CNN. “And the 100 that went in there walked away with nothing, they did it for free. So there’s another word for that and I would not use that language on the family channel.”

Speaking from the pulpit during the 2022 Georgia U.S. Senate race, Bryant called black Republican candidate Herschel Walker, a former NFL football player, the “lowest caricature of a stereotypical, broken black man.”

Black People Only Comprise 4% Of DEI Positions In The Workplace

Following the 2020 death of George Floyd, companies across various industries made announcement after announcement that they would invest in diversity and inclusion initiatives, often using the position of chief diversity officer to direct these efforts. A report from career site Zippia details that of these positions, only 4% of the roles were occupied by Black people in 2023.

According to Reyhan Ayas, a senior economist at Revelio Labs, this suggests that the pledges many companies issued post-George Floyd were not followed through with intent.

Ayas told NBC News, “I always say that it is so easy to make public statements and commitments because no one will eventually check if you’re committed to the things that you committed to,” Ayas explained.

“I can say: ‘I will be fully vegan by 2025’ because no one will ever call me in 2025 and ask me if I’m actually fully vegan. And that’s really what is going on here. In 2020, a lot of companies made big commitments, big statements around the DEI roles and goals. And as we are observing a turning of that tide, I think it’s very timely that we actually look into companies to see if they have kept up with those big statements they made.”

The lack of Black people in diversity and inclusion roles makes experts in that field suspect that, like Ayas, those announcements and positions were created for a public relations boost and little else.

Chris Metzler, the senior vice president of corporate DEI and environmental, social, and governance strategies at the National Urban League, tells NBC News, “Most of your diversity professionals at these companies report to human resources, which are headed by white women and in some cases, white men,” Metzler explained.

“So, it doesn’t surprise me that Black diversity officers . . . are being moved out. It’s increasingly becoming a dead-end job. Corporations are saying one thing and demonstrating something else. It’s going back to checking the box versus hiring and keeping qualified workers who can impact change in the company.”

Those DEI experts also say that two key factors help make DEI positions less stable than others: a lack of support and hiring individuals who are not qualified to hold the position. Tai Robinson, a human resources professional based in Houston, says that another key part of doing DEI work successfully lies in employers having the willpower to allow those individuals to do the work they are hired for.

Robinson told NBC News, “So many of these individuals were receiving these great salaries. But in reality, they were wearing golden handcuffs, unable to do but so much because the organization leaders didn’t want much done.”

The Harvard Business Review took a look at why diversity programs failed in 2016, and they surmised that those programs fail because companies do not use data, which shows that the impact of bias or sensitivity training often does not last beyond a day or two, and can also inspire negative feelings. After companies instituted mandatory diversity training for managers, the percentage of Black, Latina, and women managers dropped by 9%, and Asian managers fell by 5%. They found that instituting voluntary training engenders much better results, with an increase of up to 13% in Black men and no decline in the number of Black women managers. The Harvard Business Review also found that among the things that served to increase diversity was a diversity task force, diversity managers, self-managed teams, and college recruiting focused on the groups companies want to hire and retain.

In short, it is not that diversity programs don’t work or don’t achieve results; essentially, if the direction of the company’s program is misguided, then diversity numbers will be stagnant. Similar to what Robinson said, poor diversity outcomes or hiring numbers come down to the will of the individual companies hiring. It boils down to a company or industry doing the research and following through based on what works, not what the company feels comfortable with.

An Atlanta ‘pastor’ is calling on black Americans to observe Lent with a “40-day fast from Target” in protest of its DEI programs ending.

Jamal Bryant is a political ideologue who cosplays as a Senior pastor every Sunday morning at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, which is quite an ironic name for a church that is pro-abortion and preaches the twisted false gospel of Liberation theology.

A left-wing goat of a pastor and serial adulterer who was run out of his previous church because he could not keep his hands to himself, Bryant is known for his leftist political antics. When Roe v. Wade was recently overturned by the Supreme court, Bryant decried the decision to allow states to restrict abortion as “racist” in a baby dedication Sunday sermon. Two years ago he said he wanted to grow cannabis on his church property so that black males can farm it, using it as an evangelistic tool and as a way to teach them a skill, and then last year at an installation service for Bishop Marvin Sapp as Senior Pastor of The Chosen Vessel Cathedral, Bryant says that Jesus was ‘wrong’ and out of order for the vast majority of his life.

The president vowed to remove the DEI in order to make America great again, but it is really to make America prejudiced again, to make America biased again, to make America sexist again, to make America homophobic again, to make America myopic again. Calling Target’s decision to scale back its diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives “a spit in the face of black people,” megachurch Pastor Jamal Bryant is pushing a 40-day boycott of the retail giant starting at the beginning of Lent on March 5.

Bryant, who leads New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Stonecrest, Georgia, expressed disappointment in his sermon Sunday over what he saw as Target’s abandonment of the company’s commitment to help advance racial equity. This includes a commitment by the company to spend more than $2 billion at black-owned businesses by 2025.

The Georgia pastor accused Target of capitulating, along with other large corporations such as Walmart, to the White House’s push to end DEI policies that “undermine our national unity,” among other things.

“The president vowed to remove DEI in order to make America great again. But it is really to make America prejudice again, to make America bias again, to make America sexist again, to make America homophobic again, to make America myopic again,” Bryant told his congregation. “And because he has put this edict in line, corporations are starting to fall in line. […] even corporations like Target, they are trying to kiss the ring of the president who thinks he is king.”

Bryant said Target’s decision to scale back the company’s DEI efforts is particularly insulting to the black community because black Americans spend about $29 million a day at Target stores.

I’m telling you that Ford, we can switch it over for a Chevy, but Target, how dare you insult and spit in the face of black people,” the Georgia pastor said before announcing his plan to boycott the company, which he framed as spiritual warfare.

“Today, I came to announce we are going to break the spirit of white entitlement. We’re going to break the spirit […] of racism and sexism. Among the demands are that the company: “1. Honor the 2 billion dollar pledge to the black business community through products, services, and black media buys; 2. Deposit 250 million amongst any of our 23 black banks; 3. Completely restoring the franchise commitment to DEI; 4. Pipeline community centers at 10 HBCU to teach retail business at every level.”

AND THEN HE ASKED HIS WIFE ARE YOU WILLING TO DO MARRIAGE GOD’S WAY ACCORDING TO EPHESIANS CHAPTERS 5 AND 6, AND SHE SAID YES. AND WHYTE TOLD HER BEFORE THEY GOT MARRIED THAT IF SHE DOES NOT LIVE UP TO HER END OF THE DEAL, ALL BETS ARE OFF!

Here’s what Mrs. Meriqua Whyte wrote ten years ago after verbally apologizing to the entire family on Father’s Day right before church service:

Over thirty years of marriage. Over Thirty years of ups and downs. Over Thirty years of trying to make it a personal thing between my husband and me. Thankfully, he did not allow me to do that and kept telling me it was between God and me—over thirty years of acting on my feelings and not on what the Bible says. Over Thirty years of refusing to obey God’s simple command to a wife — to be obedient to your husband in all things. Over Thirty years of disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, lying, and dishonesty, all rooted in pride. Over Thirty years of simply not choosing to mature as a Christian.

God has been dealing with me for over thirty years now about changing my attitude and behavior as a wife, which has manifested itself in disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, lying, dishonesty, having an ungodly attitude and spirit, and simply not being the wife, mother, or example of a Christian woman that I should have been down through the years. (By the way, for those of you who may be thinking that my disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, lying, and dishonesty have resulted in adultery, I will say here that I have never committed any adultery or had sex with another man besides my husband, Daniel Whyte III since I have been born.)

God kept telling me I needed to stop my rebellious and stubborn behavior, apologize to my husband and children, and get my heart right with him, my husband, and my children. He sent others my way to tell me how to behave:

My husband, but I didn’t want to hear it from him
Other Christian women speakers
Other preachers
Books and other materials, but I would not take heed

I knew what to do, but I chose not to do it. The devil had me thinking and believing, as he is having a lot of wives and mothers thinking and believing, that your relationship with your husband and how you respond to your husband, be it positive or negative, will not affect your relationship with your children and your relationship with God. I say without hesitation that this is one of the devil’s lies, and sad to say, many wives and mothers are falling for this lie.

Another lie of the devil that Christian wives are falling for is that you can still have a strong relationship with God without being submissive to your husband. Lie! Lie! Lie! There is no truth to this. I know because I have experienced this and am still experiencing this as I am going through this breaking process, which is not happening overnight.

Even throughout my years of rebelliousness, stubbornness, and pride, I still kept praying the prayer I used to pray daily before I got married, “Lord, make me be exactly what You want me to be. Lord, break, make, and mold me into what you want me to be.” Well, God took that prayer seriously, and once you accept Him, He will begin the breaking process. It’s up to us how long that breaking process will take. For me, sad to say, it has taken over 30 years, and the breaking is not complete. In what way is God breaking me down right now? Well, our children have grown up; the three oldest have gone through and are still going through college and have gotten their degrees, and some are working on their second, third, and fourth degrees and are launching their careers and moving out. God slapped me into reality and truly intensified the breaking process. My husband told me before our first child was born and repeatedly while the children were young that my job was to love our children and make positive memories with them and that if I did that, I would have a wonderful relationship with them in time to come as adults. Well, I disobeyed God and my husband, who did not let up on his duties. And he has a wonderful relationship with our children, even the girls, and I don’t. However, God led me to break the day before Father’s Day finally, and while I was helping my husband get dressed to preach, I asked him if I could apologize to him and the entire family. That’s the first time I ever did that on my own. Throughout the years, he has always told me that I need to get my heart right with God, him, and my children; otherwise, I will never have the joy and peace of the Lord in my life. However, I kept on lying and denying that I was the problem.

Here is what I said to my husband and children on Saturday afternoon, June 17, 2017, the day before Father’s Day. My husband told the entire family that this was the best Father’s Day gift I have ever given to him:

“Daddy, children, I apologize for not being the wife, mother, and example of a Christian woman I should have been down through the years. I have shown nothing but pride, disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, and a bad attitude and spirit toward God and my husband in front of you. My disobedience and rebelliousness have caused much unnecessary unrest and upheaval in the family. As my husband told me, things could have gone much better if I had obeyed God’s word from the beginning. Please accept my apology, and I am asking you to forgive me.”

The diminishing of peace and joy in my life down through the years I brought on myself. Not having a proper relationship with God, my husband, and my children, I brought on myself—all because I chose the disobedient route. My number one desire is to live a life of peace—peace with God, my husband, and my children. I have learned that peace will not come as long as I live in disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, and pride.

I will end this with two notes: (1) Happy Father’s Day to my husband: you have been a great husband and Father. (2) Happy Children’s Day to my children: You all have been great children. I have no complaints whatsoever against my husband and, of course, children; you have never been at fault. My bad behavior is all on me, and I’m sorry I put you through this. May God bless your lives, and I love you.

THE BIG QUESTION
GOSPEL LIGHT MINUTE X #447 WITH DANIEL WHYTE III

This is the “Chief of sinners,” Daniel Whyte III, president of Gospel Light Society International, with the Gospel Light Minute X Podcast #447 titled, “The Big Question” I’m here to remind you of what the Bible says, that “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” like you and me.

“HAVE YOU BEEN BORN AGAIN?”
The question is not “Have you joined a church?” or “Are you trying to do your best?” or “Do you have religion?” but “Are you twice-born?” Jesus Christ said in John 3:3, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God”.
We enter the physical world by birth. Spiritual life likewise is entered with a birth. We become members of a human family by birth; we become members of the family of God by birth, by being “born again.” There is no other way to get into the human family except by birth, and there is no other way to get into God’s family except by the new birth. Neither education, nor cultivation, nor reformation, nor “turning over a new leaf,” will accomplish this. What is needed is not a new “leaf” but a new “life”! “Ye must be born again” (John 3:7).

A New Nature Needed
By physical birth we become partakers of human nature; by being born again we become “partakers of the divine nature”. A Christian is the product of a divine “begetting”. The second birth is not an improvement of the old nature; it is the imparting of an entirely new nature. The old nature is hopelessly corrupt and incapable of ever being made fit for His presence. The new birth requires a creative act of the Holy Spirit. “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature”.

Not “Trying” But “Trusting”

“Trying to follow Christ” is not Christianity. Christianity is not imitation of Christ, it is the indwelling of Christ. Christianity is not trying to do anything. It is trusting Christ Who has done it all! He has “finished the work” and there is nothing left to do but simply to receive and trust Him. He shed His precious blood on the cross and the work is all done once and forever! Cease trying and begin trusting! Believers will progressively become more and more like Christ, but by His power, not their own.

What Must I Do To Be Saved?
Simply “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ”. The Bible says in 1 John 5:1, “Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God”. The Bible states in John 1:12,13, “As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God”.
You are born again, you become a Christian by trusting a Person—receiving a Person. The very moment you do this, the Lord Jesus Christ comes in and life begins!

What Is Meant By “Believe”?
To “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ” means more than simply believing the historic facts concerning Him. Intellectual belief about Christ is not sufficient. The belief that brings salvation must be “with the heart,” that is, with the whole being. This belief also includes repentance: “Repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ”. The Bible states in Acts 17:30, “God … now commandeth all men every where to repent”.

The faith which saves, then, includes the necessity to repent, and to receive Christ as Saviour and Lord, to rest upon Him alone for salvation. It means to trust Him so utterly and completely that, if He should fail, there would be no hope at all!

May I Know That I Am Born Again?
This is an important question. We know that we are born again by the testimony of God’s Word. God says in John 5:24, “He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life”. Have you believed on the Lord Jesus Christ as explained by God’s Word? If so, then you are saved, you are “born again,” you have “passed from death unto life.” God says so! Take God at His Word, and go on your way rejoicing!

One Final Word
You may “belong to a church,” you may be “trying to do the best you can,” you may be “striving to live right.” Your outward life may be the model of moral correctness, and you may be looked up to, honored, revered, and respected. Yet, if you have not been “born again” you are just as lost as if you had never heard of Christ. Yes, you may teach in the Sunday school, read the Bible, sing, shout, “feel happy,” and all the rest—but if you have never been “born again” you are still in your sins and a stranger to the Lord Jesus Christ!.

If you want to be saved from the wrath to come and from an eternity in Hell, and if you believe that Jesus Christ suffered, bled, and died on the cross for your sins, was buried, and rose again from the dead and you are willing to trust Jesus Christ with all of your heart so you can go to Heaven, please pray with me what is called the sinner’s prayer: Holy Father God, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I admit that I have sinned against You and that I have broken Your Ten Commandments. I have lied before. I have stolen things before. I have lusted after people and things before. I have dishonored and disobeyed my parents. I have taken Your holy Name in vain. For Jesus Christ’s sake, please have mercy and grace upon my soul and forgive me of all of my sins, my failures, and my faults. As I now believe in Your Holy Son the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe that He suffered, bled, and died on the cross for my sins, was buried and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to repent of my sins past. Help me to turn from my old, evil life and follow You in the new life. For it is in Your Name I pray. Amen.
