Daniel Whyte III, President of Gospel Light Society International, says he is surprised that Dr. John MacArthur Jr. and Grace Community Church dignified these accusations with a response. He tells Pastor MacArthur and the elders at Grace Community Church not to respond to these accusations at all ever again. You are wasting your time. Whyte again warns Julie Roys, Russell Moore, and Christianity Today; you are not dealing with Mark Driscoll and James MacDonald. Whyte respectfully asks Russell Moore, Editor of Christianity Today, out of respect for his elder and friend Dr. John MacArthur, to not allow Christianity Today to join Julie Roys in this ongoing witchhunt because nothing is going to come of it because whether or not you can come up with a valid story or not nobody is going to believe Dr. John MacArthur or his church intentionally tried to cause harm to any woman or any child. So you are wasting your time and ink. At the same time, Grace Community Church and other churches can take the advice Whyte has given to pastors across the country: GET OUT OF THE COUNSELING BUSINESS ALTOGETHER because it is fraught with all kinds of devilish evils that can bring down a pastor and a church, including temptation with fine women and false accusations. Bible-believing churches ought to group up with other Bible-believing churches in their region and invest in and support an independent Bible-based certified counseling organization that is not connected to a church and has its own insurance. All Bible-believing pastors and churches should send people who need counseling there. In this day and time, no pastor should be involved in counseling his parishioners, PERIOD. All God-called Bible-believing pastors should give themselves to prayer and the preaching of the Word.
