The Study of Eschatology (Last Things) Which Includes Your Death: Are You Ready? Part 3, Daniel Whyte III

“The Study of Eschatology (Last Things) Which Includes Your Death: Are You Ready?” is Part 3 of Daniel Whyte III’s study of eschatology — the study of last things — with Romans 6:23 as the foundational text. He preached it on Saturday, October 24, 2026, during the Second Coming Chapel service at Gospel Light House of Prayer International, in remembrance of the martyrs Charlie Kirk and Daniqua Grace Whyte.

Brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, family, friends, and foes. And, yes, even foes in the family.

However, I do thank God for my quiver full of children in the days of our lives as the world turns, dealing with the young and the restless. And so, ladies and gentlemen, I thank God for all of my children being a blessing to me in the ministry down through the years. And so if you want to watch me preach, you can watch me preach right where you are, or on gospellighthouseofprayerinternational.org. BCNN1.org will lead you there.

Gospel Light Society International, Facebook, BCNN1 Torch, Rumble, Twitch, and other outlets — Bigo, TikTok, and Facebook. Please turn in your Bibles, my beloved, to Romans chapter 6, verse 23. And by way of review, I want to preach in your hearing briefly — hopefully briefly — Part 3, I believe, of the study of eschatology, which means the study of last things, which includes your death, which many theologians and many pastors and pastor-types do not preach on. They’ll be glad to preach a funeral, but most today do not prepare you for the funeral.

They don’t prepare you for the funerals in your family, and they do not prepare you for your own funeral. And since we’re talking about death, something has been placed on my heart for some time now. As in the news today, seven people were killed at a funeral and 40 people were injured.

I believe that funerals are important. They preach by themselves. But you do as you please; I would encourage people to consider lightening up on these funerals, particularly when you’re bringing back family members who have not spoken in the last forty years and their hard feelings. And I do not believe that just because there is a funeral, everybody needs to show up. But you do as you please.

It is true that Jesus Christ went to a funeral — pardon me — but He went to raise the dead and to shut down the funeral, and you don’t have that power. And beware, beware of the funeral meisters. These people carry on a tradition of using funerals as a battering ram to chastise and to rip certain prodigal family members who don’t line up under their control and don’t line up under their seniority as the powers that be over the family and in the family.

These are they who are not invited to the picnic anymore. These are they who may have a different theological position; they may have a different political position. So games are played with these people. Some of these funeral meisters get rich off of funerals.

Some of these funeral meisters like funerals because they are pursuing certain people to have sex with, glad that certain people are dead so that they can resume having sex with them when the body is not even cold in the grave yet. So, you know, there are many reasons why people go to funerals, so be careful and be prayerful, my beloved, and avoid the funeral meisters.

This sermon is titled “The Study of Eschatology — Last Things.” That’s what eschatology means: the study of last things. But I’m bringing out a part that most of my fellow pastors and theologians don’t bring out. They don’t bring out the death part — that death, too, is a part of studying eschatology, including your death. Are you ready? And this is what pastors ought to be doing: preparing people for their death and preparing them for eternal life.

The other part of this title is remembering martyrs Charlie Kirk and Daniqua Grace Whyte, who both died suddenly and tragically on September 10, one year apart. And we started this study about your death because both of them died suddenly.

And sometimes death comes suddenly. You might be feeling great, and then drop off dead. Many young people are dying today. They’re going to the beach, they’re dating, they’re going to the gym, and then all of a sudden they come down with weird diseases, strange diseases, and they die at 21, 23, 26, 28 — very young.

The foundational verse for this series on death is Romans 6:23: “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Please never forget that verse.

This single verse contains the entire Gospel in miniature: law and grace, death and life, wages and gift, Adam and Christ. The word “wages” is a military, an economic term, referring to the rations or pay a soldier receives for service rendered. It is a commercial term as well, a business term for payment for labor. It is not a random penalty, but a just recompense — what is owed and earned.

As the great Reformed commentator John Murray observed, Paul deliberately chooses this commercial metaphor to underscore that death is not an arbitrary — please hear me on this — punishment. Veronica, Daniel Ford, Venable, and everyone who is here: death is not an arbitrary punishment imposed by a capricious god. No, sir. No, ma’am. It is the lawful, deserved payment for services rendered to sin. Every act of rebellion — every act of rebellion — is a day’s work, and the paycheck is death. Mark that down.

That’s for you. That’s regarding your death that’s coming. No matter how pretty you are, no matter how religious you are, no matter how smart you are, death is coming for you, because that’s your just payment for the sins you have committed against Almighty God and His holy Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, and against the law of God, the Word of God. And we went through part one of this sermon twice because we want you to get it. And we will be on this subject a little, so that you will understand what you’re up against and what you’re facing.

And basically, ladies and gentlemen, I want you to get comfortable with death. The wages of sin are real. Death is what we deserve, and we have dealt with this over the past two services. Nazeek, so glad to have you. Thank you for liking the live.

And so today we’re going to break it down further, and we’re going to preach this series — because it is such a painful series for so many people, and a difficult series for people to get their head around — we’re going to break it down in small segments so that you can understand for real, some for the first time, what you are up against and what you’re dealing with. And so today, we’re starting part two.

The wages of sin is really real — that’s part one. Part two: the satisfaction is complete. Jesus Christ suffered in our place. He took our place on the cross.

Dr. Martin Luther does not stop at confession. He continues: “What of it? For I know One who suffered and made satisfaction on my behalf.” That’s what the great theologian Martin Luther said. This is the hinge of the Gospel. The wages of sin are real, but they have been paid for.

Not by you, not by me, not by any of us, not by your good works, your religious affiliations and devotions, or your sincere efforts. They were paid by Jesus Christ. “Made satisfaction” — made satisfaction is a rich theological word, phrase, if you will. It means Christ’s suffering and death on the cross fully satisfied the justice of God Almighty.

The debt was not partially paid or merely overlooked. The sin was not overlooked at all. It was paid for in full by none other than the Lord Jesus Christ. On the cross, Jesus drank the cup of wrath that belonged to us. He paid our sin debt. He bore the wages of sin that we owed — death — so that we would not have to.

And so, beloved, consider what the Scripture says in Isaiah 53, verse 5 — one of my most beloved passages. Sister Bliss, Isaiah 53:5: “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” Jesus Christ was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace — I have peace today because Jesus Christ died for my sins. He was wounded for my sins. He was bruised for my sin, Patricia. Thank you all for giving gifts to God and Jesus Christ, and sending love back to God and Jesus Christ. But He was wounded for our transgressions.

What transgressions? Lying, stealing, lusting after people and things, coveting what other people have. Dishonoring our parents. Dishonoring God by taking God’s name in vain. Committing fornication — having sex outside of marriage. Committing adultery — having sex with other people’s spouses. Committing homosexuality, men with men and women with women — we know by nature that that is wrong. Child molestation, child rape. Isaiah 53:5: “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”

Beloved, this verse is the beating heart of what we call substitutionary atonement. Jesus Christ is our Substitute. He stood in for us. The Hebrew word rendered “wounded” means pierced — pierced through — minutely fulfilled in the nails that pierced His hands and feet, and the spear that opened His side. “Bruised” speaks of crushing — the inward and outward weight of sin’s penalty. But the text goes further: “The chastisement of our peace was upon him.” The chastisement — the correction, or the punishment — that procures our reconciliation and our peace and our joy, God laid upon the Servant, the Son, Jesus Christ. Not upon us. It all fell upon Him, Jesus Christ. He stood in as our divine Substitute.

As the Puritan preacher John Gill observed, this chastisement is the correction inflicted, if you will, by a parent on children for their good; yet here it is borne by the Innocent One in the place of the guilty. That’s you and me, by the way. We’re guilty, and we’re not worthy of this sacrifice. We’re not worthy of this substitution, Mrs. Betty Dixon. We’re not worthy of this sacrifice and this payment for our sins. Lucio, Chris, Jay — none of us are worthy of it.

“And with his stripes we are healed.” Not merely a physical healing, like some Charismatics try to make it be. Some Charismatic, some Pentecostal holiness people unwisely think that this is an open card for them to never get sick. And many of them are sick, because many of them are weak and sick for taking communion while living a wicked and evil lifestyle. And many of them have died. Many died in the coronavirus plague. If you don’t believe me, go ask Dr. T.D. Jakes — he talked about it. But primarily, the healing of the soul — that’s the main thing that needs to be healed: the forgiveness of sins, Mrs. White, the restoration of fellowship with God Almighty. That’s the kind of healing God is talking about here.

The wounds He received, the welts and bruises that disfigured His back, were the means of our spiritual cure. And by the way, ladies and gentlemen, many of you know about the picture of the black slave with rip marks across his back that some people are trying to get rid of. I told President Trump that that would not be wise to do. But let me tell you this: if you had a picture of Jesus’s back and body, it would be ten times, a hundred times worse than that black slave’s back. You wouldn’t even be able to look at it. So thank God we don’t have a picture of Jesus’s back. You’re talking about something that was ripped apart for your sins and for mine — for our spiritual healing, our spiritual cure.

Shall we pray? Holy Father God, I pray in the holy name of the Lord Jesus Christ tonight. I praise You, Lord, and I thank You for Your love, Your grace, and Your mercy, Your longsuffering, and Your lovingkindness on this Saturday evening. And Holy Father God, I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ: have mercy and grace, O Lord, upon me and upon all of Your Christian people, all of my children, whom I had the privilege of leading to You.

For Jesus Christ’s sake, forgive us all of our sins, our faults, and our failures, as we from our hearts, by Your grace, forgive those who have sinned against us. Through the substitutionary death of the Lord Jesus Christ, we plead the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ tonight. We pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ: for Jesus Christ’s sake, please forgive us of our sins, our faults, and our failures, as we, from our hearts, by Your grace, forgive those who have sinned against us.

Deliver all of us, O Lord, from temptation, evil, and sin tonight, and grant us, Lord, Your grace and Your strength and the power. Fill us all who are saved and born again through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, who suffered, bled, and died on the cross for our sins; fill us with the fullness and the power of Your Holy Spirit, to love right, to live right, to think right, and to do right, and to act right, and to do that which is pleasing in Your sight.

And Holy Father God, I do pray that throughout the remainder of this night, on into the early wee hours of the morning of Sunday, Lord, I pray that You will deliver all of us from temptation, evil, and sin, and prepare us, Lord, to worship You and to do Your will. I pray, Holy Father God, grant us Your grace and Your strength and the power of Your Holy Spirit, for those of us who are saved — my children whom I have led to You, and, Lord, all of the saved people in this audience and in the world. Lord, help us to love right, to think right, to do right, to act right, and to do that which is pleasing in Your sight. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory. Help us all tonight, Lord, as we hear about what You’ve done for us. Help us to humble ourselves and to pray and to seek Your face and to turn from our wicked ways and to repent of our sins, and get back to You, our first love, Lord Jesus.

At the same time, Holy Father God, I pray for Mrs. Meriqua Whyte, my wife of over thirty-nine years now. I pray for her true salvation. I thank You, Lord, for working a divine miracle and blessing us to stay together in holy matrimony, when there are many people hoping that we were not going to do so on both sides of the family, sad to say, and have tried to break us up, and were hoping that we would break up and that I would marry somebody else, and all kinds of foolishness has gone on down through the years. I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, at the same time, though, that Meriqua Whyte would humble herself down, somehow, someway, and truly believe in You. I pray that You will open her eyes and ears and help her to hear and understand the Gospel, and to truly believe in You and to allow You into her life. I pray that You would crush her Jamaican pride and stubbornness and rebelliousness and witchcraft. And, Lord, help her to believe in You.

I also pray that You will cast out the devil and the demons of hell and the satanic, demonic spirit of Judas, Jezebel, Sanballat, and Tobiah out of Meriqua Whyte. And, Lord, I do pray that You would do the same for her mother, aunts, and siblings and family members, for my mother and siblings and family members as well, and all other people who are with us today. In fact, Lord, I pray for salvation, and spiritual, family, and life, financial and material, protection and provision, mental and physical blessings, Lord, upon all of the people who are here tonight, and all the other people that I have mentioned earlier, as well as everybody else on multiple platforms.

And Holy Father God, save those who are lost, revive those who are saved, heal those who are sick, comfort those who are grieving and mourning in this country and around the globe. And, Lord, I pray that You will drive the devil and the demons of hell out of Meriqua Whyte tonight — her mother, aunts, and siblings and family members, my mother and siblings and my family members — and, Lord, save their souls and help them to all become born again and saved.

I thank You for the privilege of leading my children to You, and what a difference that made in their lives. And I thank You, Lord, for using them mightily to help me in the ministry even to this night.

And Holy Father God, I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ that, Lord, indeed, we pray for the peace of Jerusalem tonight. We pray for the salvation and protection of the Israelites, the Palestinians, all Gentile nations — red, yellow, black, and white, for we’re all precious in Your sight. You told us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. You told us to pray for all people, all men. Open blinded eyes and unstop deaf ears and save their souls tonight, by Your grace and by the power of Your Holy Spirit.

And, Lord, we thank You for Sunflower following us tonight. Thank you for all of the gifts that have come in to You, Lord. And we thank You for “96” and others.

And, Lord, we pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ: deliver us tonight from all of the messengers of Satan, the devil, and the demons of hell; and deliver us, Lord, from all of the thorns-in-the-flesh people. Deliver us, Lord, tonight from all of the distresses and tribulations, troubles, trials, temptations, tests, and tensions. Deliver us, Lord, tonight from all of the spiritual and mental, physical and emotional, family, financial, legal, student loan debt, and student problems, troubles, and difficulties — as I’ve shared this week, some good news for my children who have student loans. And, Lord, I pray that it will all work out; they will check it out and do their due diligence and have it work out perfectly for them, and all others.

And, Holy Father God, I do pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ: thank You, Lord, for allowing things to be as well as they are, for they could be worse. Thank You, Lord, for remembering mercy, love, and grace upon our lives. We praise You, and we thank You afresh and anew for Your holy Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, Your Holy Spirit, and Your holy Word, and for all of the millions and manifold blessings You’ve bestowed upon us down through the years. Thank You, Lord, for the privilege and the power and the peace of prayer.

And now, Holy Father God, we pray that You will prepare each and every one of us for good days and bad days. Prepare us, Lord, for celebrations and tribulations and tragedies. Prepare us, Lord, for weddings and funerals. Prepare us, Lord, for life and death — that’s what we’re talking about right now.

And, Lord, have all that we do and say tonight, throughout tonight into the wee hours of the morning and even early tomorrow morning at 7:00 Central time — Holy Father God, help us all — have all that we do and say to be done for Your glory, Your praise, and honor, for the glory, praise, and honor of Your holy Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. In Jesus Christ’s name I do pray, we do pray, and for His sake. Amen.

And so, ladies and gentlemen, in closing: what love is this, that the just should suffer for the unjust? You will never get your head around it. You will never get your little human head around this kind of love — I can tell you that right now. I’ve been trying to do it for nearly fifty years since God saved me. I even told God today, earlier, “Lord, You know I don’t deserve this salvation.” What love is this?

Shirley White, what love is this? Mrs. Meriqua Whyte, what love is this? Daniella Whyte, what love is this? Sister Bliss, what love is this? Landis, Genie, what love is this? Deborah, Yvette, what love is this? Danielle Tekeela, what love is this? Danyelle Elizabeth, what love is this? Daniqua, what love is this? You know better than all of us, Daniqua Grace. What love is this — that the just should suffer for the unjust? Only God could create something like this, and you ought to be thankful for it.

Shall we pray, my beloved — the sinner’s prayer? I wish I could sing that song, “The Sinner’s Prayer.” I believe if I play that song, some of our outlets and platforms get mad at me, because I cannot sing that song like Deitrick Haddon. No, sir. No, ma’am. I couldn’t even sing it like Charlie Brown. But I can pray the sinner’s prayer.

Dear friends, we have talked about Jesus Christ dying on the cross for our sins in light of what the Word of God says: “The wages of sin is death.” He died for our sins, was buried, and rose from the dead. He paid for our sin debt. He is our Substitute. He took upon Himself all of our wicked sins and suffered, bled, and died on the cross for our sins, our failures, and our faults. And all you have to do is believe in Him and pray and ask Him to save you, before it is eternally too late — because while we were sitting here, hundreds have died and went out into eternity.

Just making a run to Walmart so they can have some food for Sunday — got in a hurry and ran the red light — and they had it: they were hit by a Mack truck, and they died. You can die the same way. There’s a thousand and one ways to die on this ball called Earth. People are checking out of Earth like I’ve never seen in my nearly seventy years of life. People are checking out, my friends. “For the wages of sin is death.” “For the wages of sin is death.” And like I told you, at a funeral today seven people were killed. They died. And now they’re saying thirty-four people are injured. “For the wages of sin is death.”

Jesus Christ said it first and best when He said, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” That word “whosoever” means anybody, at any time — that includes you. What a word: whosoever. “Whosoever will, let them come,” the song says. Nobody’s going to force you. God won’t even force you. But I will urge you to believe in the Savior of the world — yea, my Savior, Jesus Christ — and pray and ask Him to save you.

I said recently that the greatest thing a human being can do on this earth is believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and pray and ask Him to save them. And that is my testimony, and I’m sticking with it.

Follow me in the sinner’s prayer, sincerely. We’re not talking about you sounding sincere; we are talking about you being sincere in your heart — that you’re willing to give up your pride, you’re willing to give up your cursing, you’re willing to give up your lying, you’re willing to give up your stealing, for Jesus Christ, because He gave up His life for you. You’re willing to give up your whoremongering. You’re willing to give up your whoring around. You’re willing to give up your prostitution. You’re willing to give up your pornography, and your party-hard, jam-jam, boogie-boogie lifestyle. We’re talking about that kind of sincerity. You’re willing to give up everything for your Savior, Jesus Christ, who suffered, bled, and died on the cross for your sin, was buried, and rose from the dead.

Follow me, dear friends, in the sinner’s prayer. Every last one of you — I urge you to do it. I did it forty-seven years ago. And if God can save me — a whoremonger, who hated everything about church and hated preachers, including his dad, cursed and swore that he would never be a preacher like his dad — now look at me now: I’ve been preaching longer than my dad. I thank God that my dad saw me preach before he died — and I guess before I died as well, because we’re all going to die. Get ready. Get ready. Get ready. And the best thing you can do to get ready is believe on Jesus Christ and pray the sinner’s prayer.

Don’t do it — I’m not trying to force you to do it. I’m not trying to trick you into doing it. It has to be a free-will thing from your heart. But just don’t play with God.

Follow me in the sinner’s prayer. Repeat after me, phrase by phrase, and mean it from your heart: “Holy Father God, have mercy and grace upon me. For Jesus Christ’s sake, please forgive me of all of my sins, all of my failures, and my faults. As I now believe in You, Lord Jesus Christ — that You suffered, You bled, and You died on the cross for my sins, was buried, and rose on the third day. Lord Jesus Christ, please come into my heart and into my spirit and truly save my soul today. Fill me with the fullness and the power of Your Holy Spirit. Help me to repent of my sins, and help me to change and follow You in the newness of life. In Jesus Christ’s name, I pray, and for His sake. Amen.”

Dear friend of mine, may God bless you, and may God keep you — those of you who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior and you prayed the prayer. Thank you. Saved are you. God bless you for being here tonight. Congratulations on doing the most important thing in life.

Now here are five things that God and Jesus Christ want you to do to help you grow in the faith. Number one: get baptized — baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Find a good Bible-believing church in your area, and take your family with you, take your friends with you; go there and talk with them about getting baptized, and any good church will baptize you, to help you follow Jesus Christ in believer’s baptism.

Number two: start praying right now. May I encourage you to pray three times a day, as did King David, as did Daniel the prophet. And not only that: learn the Lord’s Prayer from Matthew chapter 6. If you don’t know it by heart, pray it for one hundred days, every day. Make that the foundation of your prayer life.

Number three: read the Bible every day, along with prayer. Read the Bible. Start with the Gospel of John, and then read the entire New Testament at your pace. If you can do three chapters a day, that’ll be great; but if it’s just one chapter, then do that. Be faithful. Be consistent, whatever it is. And you will grow faster in the Lord if you read the Bible and pray.

Number four: obey the Bible, because Jesus Christ said that if you love Me, keep My commandments. And then number five: be a witness for the Lord. Do what I did today — that is, tell friends and family members, somehow or some way, about Jesus Christ — and God will bless you real good for being a good witness for His glory, praise, and honor.

God bless you, dear friends. Until next time, Lord willing, I will be back tomorrow morning right here at the Gospel Light House of Prayer International at 7:00 AM Central time tomorrow morning. You can watch me from anywhere. Watch me from where you are now. You can participate with us at gospellighthouseofprayerinternational.org. God bless you, dear friends. Until next time.

“Saved Are You,” thank you so much for reminding the people, repeating what I said: Baptism, number one; pray three times a day, number two; read the Bible every day, number three; number four, obey the Bible; number five, be a witness for the Lord. God bless you. May God bless you real good for doing that. That’s a good way for people to copy that down. And the Lord led her to do that, everybody. I didn’t ask her to do that; she did that on her own, and we give God the glory. Thank you so much, “Saved Are You.” May God bless you real good. Come back anytime, by the grace of God. I’m here every day.

“Your_local_hispanic,” all right? “Number 17,” so glad to have you. And may God bless you, and may God keep you. He has a question. I have a question. Go ahead, since we’re pretty much at the end of our service. Renee, God bless you for being here. Go ahead and ask your question, sir.

Okay. God bless you, everybody. Lord willing, I’ll see you tomorrow morning. If you have a Bible-believing church to attend, you go there. If you don’t, feel free to be with us at 7:00 Central time on Sunday morning. Get prepared for communion — I believe that’s going to be next Sunday morning. Is that not right, Mrs. Whyte? All right.

Remember the motto of the Marines: Semper Fidelis — be always faithful to the Lord. Remember the motto of the Space Force and the Air Force: Semper Supra — always above. Keep your heart and mind stayed on the Lord above, and He’ll keep you in perfect peace. God loves you. Jesus Christ loves you. And because of God’s love running abroad in our hearts, I love you too, in the Lord. May God bless you all, everybody. Have a wonderful night in Jesus, and pray before you go to bed.

His mottos are “Crying in the Wilderness,” “Exiled on the Isle of Patmos,” and “Preaching the Gospel by any means necessary,” all for the glory of God and Jesus Christ.

Daniel Whyte III is the president of the over-40-year-old Gospel Light Evangelistic Society International and the over-37-year-old Gospel Light House of Prayer International. He is known worldwide as the prophet who predicted the Coronavirus Plague more than 10 years before it hit, in recorded preaching and writing. God also led him to guide thousands through the Coronavirus Plague that killed over 20 million people because of the sins in the Judas-Jezebel-Laodicean church.

Daniel Whyte III’s greatest blessing in this life is his “quiver full” of 10 children—Daniella (Danni), Daniel IV, Danita Evangeline, Danae Mary-Louise, Daniqua Grace, Danyel Ezekiel, Danyelle Elizabeth Breedlove, Danielle Tekeela, Duran-Daniel, and the first Daniel IV (deceased and in heaven with the Lord)—along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Daniel Whyte III has been unblissfully but sexually satisfyingly married to his first and only wife, Meriqua Whyte of Christiana, Jamaica, for over 37 years since December 19, 1987. Jesus Christ said: “And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.” Even though many evangelicals, charismatics, and Protestants try to act as if these words of Jesus Christ are not a reality in our modern Christianity—primarily because of the Satanic-driven prosperity gospel and an over-positive philosophy, which is a lie not based in reality or biblical truth—the words of Jesus Christ are true for every person who preaches the Gospel. The outcomes of the Gospel are a changed life and opposition from family, lukewarm Christians, Laodicean-Judas pastors and churches, the world, and the devil. This is a reality in our present evil world.

While Daniel Whyte III thoroughly enjoys his married life because he did not allow his wife to have her way at any point and was and is solidly, and biblically the head of his household throughout the marriage—often quoting Joshua, “As for me and my house, we’re going to serve the Lord” “up in here!”—and because his wife never failed in the very important area of sex, which he got married for in the first place to avoid sinning against God, he has especially enjoyed the privilege and joy of raising his children in the Lord virtually by himself. He served the Lord with them every day of their lives, from the time they were born until they graduated from college, became adults, and moved on.

However, his wife, Meriqua Whyte—motivated by Satan, with a Pharaoh-style pride mixed with the well-known female Jamaican-style pride, stubbornness, rebelliousness, and witchcraft—has been his greatest Judas enemy in the world and has been what Paul spoke of: a “messenger of Satan” and a “thorn in the flesh.” Amazingly, and by the grace of God, that Satanic evil opposition has spurred Daniel Whyte III on to preach the Gospel probably more times than any man on record. God has honored him because he did not “hearken to the voice of his wife.” Whyte tells other Christian men to only hearken to the voice of God and Jesus Christ—not to their wives, as so many thousands of church men have been taught by pastors and other older men throughout the years. Remember, we are in this worldwide, multi-generational mess because Adam hearkened to the voice of his wife and not to the voice of God.

Before they were married, Daniel Whyte III told his wife Meriqua Whyte that they would not do family life as her parents did, because their married life was hellacious and ended in divorce, as did some of her other family members, including the aunt she was living with. He also told his wife they would not do family life as his parents did, because it was also hellacious and out of order since his mother was the head of the household, not his father. But thanks be to God, they never got a divorce. Whyte told his wife before they got married that they were going to do it God’s way according to Ephesians chapters 5 and 6, or no way at all. And then he asked his wife, “Are you willing to do marriage God’s way according to Ephesians chapters 5 and 6?” And she said yes. Whyte told her before they got married that if she did not live up to her end of the deal, all bets were off.

Because Daniel Whyte III’s wife, Meriqua Whyte, was so proud, unsubmissive, stubborn, and rebellious after they got married, God led him to read Ephesians chapters 5 and 6 every day in their family devotions throughout their marriage. In the first year of their marriage, Daniel Whyte III also gave his wife a list of verses for women from the Word of God for her to read, which she still reads to this day. He also bought her many books to read to help her be the wife God wanted her to be.

Whyte realized early in the marriage that his wife was not a born-again, saved person, even though she lied and said she was before they got married. After over 37 years of marriage, she is still not saved, never bearing any fruit of a saved person, to the point of not even wanting to tell her children, “I love you,” and not wanting to hug them when they were little children, even after her husband told her to do so. She also hated the daily family devotions that her husband led and tried to hinder them. She also demonically hated and tried to hinder every Gospel preaching service to this very day.

However, only by the grace of God, they are still married, and despite the devil constantly working through his wife to try to hinder him from preaching the Word of God, he is still preaching the Gospel and the Word of God live and on-demand. His ministry reaches over 148,800 people per month with over 21,000 unique views per month, reaching 149 countries, preaching the Gospel and the Word of God in 2 to 3 services a day, 7 days a week. Glory be to God!

Mrs. Meriqua Whyte’s Apology to her Husband and Their 7 Children for not Being a Biblical Wife or Mother

Mrs. Meriqua Whyte, the Wife of Daniel Whyte III, Gave him the Best Father’s Day Gift Ever About 10 Years Ago When She Unexpectedly and Voluntarily Apologized for the First Time to Him and Their 7 Children for Not Being the Wife, Mother, and Christian Example of the Woman She Should Have Been Over the Past 37 Years of Marriage.

Here is what Mrs. Meriqua Whyte wrote ten years ago after verbally apologizing to the entire family on Father’s Day, right before church service:

Over thirty years of marriage. Over thirty years of ups and downs. Over thirty years of trying to make our problems a personal thing between my husband and me. Thankfully, he did not allow me to do that and kept telling me it was between God and me—over thirty years of acting on my feelings and not on what the Bible says. Over thirty years of refusing to obey God’s simple command to a wife—to be obedient to your husband in all things. Over thirty years of disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, lying, and dishonesty, all rooted in pride. Over thirty years of simply not choosing to mature as a Christian.

God has been dealing with me for over thirty years now about changing my attitude and behavior as a wife, which has manifested itself in disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, lying, dishonesty, having an ungodly attitude and spirit, and simply not being the wife, mother, or example of a Christian woman that I should have been throughout the years. (By the way, for those of you who may be thinking that my disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, lying, and dishonesty have resulted in adultery, I will say here that I have never committed any adultery or had sex with another man besides my husband, Daniel Whyte III, since I was born.)

God kept telling me I needed to stop my rebellious and stubborn behavior, apologize to my husband and children, and get my heart right with him, my husband, and my children. He sent others my way to tell me how to behave:

My husband, but I didn’t want to hear it from him.

Other Christian women speakers

Other preachers

Books and other materials, but I would not take heed.

I knew what to do, but I chose not to do it. The devil had me thinking and believing—as he is having a lot of wives and mothers think and believe—that your relationship with your husband and how you respond to him, whether positive or negative, will not affect your relationship with your children or your relationship with God. I say without hesitation that this is one of the devil’s lies, and sad to say, many wives and mothers are falling for this lie.

Another lie of the devil that Christian wives are falling for is that you can still have a strong relationship with God without being submissive to your husband. Lie! Lie! Lie! There is no truth to this. I know because I have experienced this and am still experiencing it as I go through this breaking process, which is not happening overnight.

Even throughout my years of rebelliousness, stubbornness, and pride, I still kept praying the prayer I used to pray daily before I got married: “Lord, make me be exactly what You want me to be. Lord, break, make, and mold me into what You want me to be.” Well, God took that prayer seriously, and once you accept Him, He will begin the breaking process. It’s up to us how long that breaking process will take. For me, sad to say, it has taken over 30 years, and the breaking is not complete. In what way is God breaking me down right now? Well, our children have grown up. The three oldest have gone through and are still going through college, have gotten their degrees, and some are working on their second, third, and fourth degrees, launching their careers and moving out. God slapped me into reality and truly intensified the breaking process. My husband told me before our first child was born, and repeatedly while the children were young, that my job was to love our children and make positive memories with them, and that if I did that, I would have a wonderful relationship with them as adults in the time to come. Well, I disobeyed God and my husband, who did not let up on his duties. And he has a wonderful relationship with our children, even the girls, and I don’t. However, God led me to finally break down the day before Father’s Day, and while I was helping my husband get dressed to preach, I asked him if I could apologize to him and the entire family. That’s the first time I ever did that on my own. Throughout the years, he has always told me that I needed to get my heart right with God, him, and my children; otherwise, I would never have the joy and peace of the Lord in my life. However, I kept on lying and denying that I was the problem.

Here is what I said to my husband and children on Saturday afternoon, June 17, 2017, the day before Father’s Day. My husband told the entire family that this was the best Father’s Day gift I have ever given to him:

“Daddy, children, I apologize for not being the wife, mother, and example of a Christian woman I should have been throughout the years. I have shown nothing but pride, disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, and a bad attitude and spirit toward God and my husband in front of you. My disobedience and rebelliousness have caused much unnecessary unrest and upheaval in the family. As my husband told me, things could have gone much better if I had obeyed God’s word from the beginning. Please accept my apology, and I am asking you to forgive me.”

I brought the diminishing of peace and joy in my life on myself throughout the years. Not having a proper relationship with God, my husband, and my children, I brought on myself—all because I chose the disobedient route. My number one desire is to live a life of peace—peace with God, my husband, and my children. I have learned that peace will not come as long as I live in disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, and pride.

I will end this with two notes: (1) Happy Father’s Day to my husband: you have been a great husband and father. (2) Happy Children’s Day to my children: You all have been great children. I have no complaints whatsoever against my husband and, of course, my children; you have never been at fault. My bad behavior is all on me, and I’m sorry I put you through this. May God bless your lives, and I love you.

Ephesians 5:22 – 6:20 (KJV)

Below is the passage in the Bible that Daniel Whyte III read in their family devotions every day for decades. It covers the biblical duties of the husband, the wife, and the children, and includes how to fight the devil, who seeks to destroy the family.

22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

6 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

2 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;

3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;

6 Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;

7 With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:

8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.

9 And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

The Gospel in a Nutshell

If you were to die today, where would you go: Heaven or Hell? If you’re not sure, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.”

Jesus Christ said the most important words ever spoken in the history of the world when He said, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

The Most Important Question in the World: Have You Been Twice Born?

This is the “Chief of sinners,” Daniel Whyte III, president of Gospel Light Society International, with the Gospel Light Minute X Podcast #447, titled “The Big Question.” I’m here to remind you of what the Bible says: that “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” like you and me.

“Have You Been Born Again?”

The question is not, “Have you joined a church?” or “Are you trying to do your best?” or “Do you have religion?” but, “Are you twice-born?” Jesus Christ said in John 3:3, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

We enter the physical world by birth. Spiritual life, likewise, is entered with a birth. We become members of a human family by birth; we become members of the family of God by birth, by being “born again.” There is no other way to get into the human family except by birth, and there is no other way to get into God’s family except by the new birth. Neither education, nor cultivation, nor reformation, nor “turning over a new leaf,” will accomplish this. What is needed is not a new “leaf” but a new “life”! “Ye must be born again” (John 3:7).

A New Nature Needed

By physical birth, we become partakers of human nature; by being born again, we become “partakers of the divine nature.” A Christian is the product of a divine “begetting.” The second birth is not an improvement of the old nature; it is the imparting of an entirely new nature. The old nature is hopelessly corrupt and incapable of ever being made fit for His presence. The new birth requires a creative act of the Holy Spirit. “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.”

Not “Trying” But “Trusting”

“Trying to follow Christ” is not Christianity. Christianity is not imitation of Christ; it is the indwelling of Christ. Christianity is not trying to do anything. It is trusting Christ, who has done it all! He has “finished the work,” and there is nothing left to do but simply to receive and trust Him. He shed His precious blood on the cross, and the work is all done once and forever! Cease trying and begin trusting! Believers will progressively become more and more like Christ, but by His power, not their own.

What Must I Do To Be Saved?

“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.” The Bible says in 1 John 5:1, “Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God.” The Bible states in John 1:12-13, “As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”

You are born again; you become a Christian by trusting a Person—receiving a Person. The very moment you do this, the Lord Jesus Christ comes in, and life begins!

What Is Meant By “Believe”?

To “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ” means more than simply believing the historic facts concerning Him. Intellectual belief about Christ is not sufficient. The belief that brings salvation must be “with the heart,” that is, with the whole being. This belief also includes repentance: “Repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.” The Bible states in Acts 17:30, “God… now commandeth all men everywhere to repent.”

The faith which saves, then, includes the necessity to repent and to receive Christ as Savior and Lord, to rest upon Him alone for salvation. It means to trust Him so utterly and completely that, if He should fail, there would be no hope at all!

May I Know That I Am Born Again?

This is an important question. We know that we are born again by the testimony of God’s Word. God says in John 5:24, “He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” Have you believed on the Lord Jesus Christ as explained by God’s Word? If so, then you are saved; you are “born again,”; you have “passed from death unto life.” God says so! Take God at His Word, and go on your way rejoicing!

One Final Word

You may “belong to a church,” you may be “trying to do the best you can,” you may be “striving to live right.” Your outward life may be the model of moral correctness, and you may be looked up to, honored, revered, and respected. Yet, if you have not been “born again,” you are just as lost as if you had never heard of Christ. Yes, you may teach in the Sunday school, read the Bible, sing, shout, “feel happy,” and all the rest—but if you have never been “born again,” you are still in your sins and a stranger to the Lord Jesus Christ.

If you want to be saved from the wrath to come and from an eternity in Hell, and if you believe that Jesus Christ suffered, bled, and died on the cross for your sins, was buried, and rose again from the dead, and you are willing to trust Jesus Christ with all of your heart so you can go to Heaven, please pray with me what is called the sinner’s prayer:

Holy Father God, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I admit that I have sinned against You and that I have broken Your Ten Commandments. I have lied before. I have stolen things before. I have lusted after people and things before. I have dishonored and disobeyed my parents. I have taken Your holy Name in vain. For Jesus Christ’s sake, please have mercy and grace upon my soul and forgive me of all of my sins, my failures, and my faults. As I now believe in Your Holy Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe that He suffered, bled, and died on the cross for my sins, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart, save my soul, and change my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me repent of my past sins. Help me turn from my old, evil life and follow You into a new life. For it is in Your Name I pray. Amen.
