Sheryl Sandberg Officially Steps Down as COO of Facebook Parent Company Meta

After announcing earlier this year her intent to step down as Meta’s chief operating officer, Sheryl Sandberg made it official Monday, according to a US Securities and Exchange Commission filing. Sandberg will remain a Meta employee through Sept. 30, after which she’ll continue in her role as a member of Meta’s board of directors.
