Airbnb has removed the listing of a former slave cabin on the Belmont Plantation in Greenville, Mississippi, that rented out for $165 a night after a viral TikTok user called out the ‘atrocity.’

The Panther Burn Cottage @ Belmont Plantation is listed as an ‘1830s slave cabin’ that has also been used as a ‘tenant sharecroppers cabin.’

Wynton Yates, 34, posted a now-viral video — it has so far garnered nearly 3 million views — to TikTok about the property, saying it was anything but quaint and charming.

‘The history of slavery in this country is constantly denied and now it’s being mocked by being turned into a luxurious vacation spot,’ Yates said in the clip.

‘This is not OK. This is an 1830s slave cabin up on Airbnb,’ Yates told DailyMail.com on Tuesday.  ‘How is this OK in somebody’s mind to rent this out as a bed and breakfast, a place where human beings were kept as slaves?’

The one-story home accommodates up to two guests, featuring a bedroom and a private bath — there’s no mention of a kitchen — adding that the former slave quarters had been renovated with modern amenities, including Netflix. The property had a 4.97 star rating and 68 reviews.

Airbnb quickly removed the listing from its platform and issued an apology for any ‘trauma’ or ‘grief’ it caused.
