Belarus shares land borders with Russia and Ukraine, and they’ve sided with Russia in the conflict. Belarusians face worsening economic conditions as a result of Western sanctions. But it won’t stop Trans World Radio contacts from sharing the hope of Christ.
Believers recently gave dozens of handheld radios to people in vulnerable situations. “They distribute them in children’s homes, orphanages, rehab centers for senior citizens; even in prisons,” Frank Stephenson with TWR Europe says.
“These are situations where it’s easy to be hopeless. We want to speak hope to Belarus and have them come to know the living God.”
The radios come preloaded with Christ-centered content, including 40 new programs produced by the team in May.
