Iranian Prisoner Prays to God and is Miraculously Freed

You won’t hear reports like the next one in mainstream news outlets, but these events are more common than you realize. In Iran, “people’s lives are being transformed through the Scriptures,” Lucy Boston of Global Catalytic Ministries says.

“The Word is mighty; it’s a much more powerful evangelist than me or you.”

GCM received the following account from its network of underground believers:

An Iranian man was in prison facing the death penalty for a crime he didn’t commit. One day, he heard a story from the Old Testament and believed in the God of the Bible. As his trial approached, he said, ‘I believe in You, God; please create a miracle for my situation.’ The next day, everyone in the courtroom was puzzled. They couldn’t figure out why the man was there, and the judge released him.
