Jinger Duggar Says She Still Has No Sense of Smell 14 Months After Contracting Coronavirus and the Few Scents She Can Detect ‘Stink’

Jinger Duggar, husband, and kids

Jinger Duggar has revealed that she came down with COVID-19 in December of 2020, just weeks after giving birth to her second child — and over a year later, the former reality TV star still doesn’t have her sense of smell back.

Jinger, 28, made the shocking health confession on Instagram on Tuesday, telling followers that she had COVID 14 months ago but still has not regained her ability to smell almost anything.

The mother-of-two called her ability to just slightly smell coffee ‘a gift from God,’ but admitted that the few other things that her nose can detect ‘stink.’

‘I can smell a tiny bit of coffee, which is amazing. I think it’s a gift from God to be able to smell that.

‘But I heard from some people that if you smell, like, the same scent every day that it can retrain your senses and then you can actually learn those smells again,’ she went on.
