Police alleges that two men aged 35 and a 20-year-old woman, all Greek citizens, accused of taking part in an arson attack belong to a group named Organization Anarchist Action. The three have been charged with an arson attack against an Orthodox Christian religious society in the northern city of Thessaloniki.
The incendiary device used in the attack damaged the entrance of the building but caused no injuries.
A search of the suspects’ homes revealed a handgun and ammunition, first aid services clothing and insignia, flammable chemicals, a handbook on making incendiary devices and stolen identity cards.
All three were charged with belonging to a terrorist organization, carrying out a terrorist act with use of explosives, as well as endangering life, damaging property and arson.
