Winter storm Malik hit northern Europe over the weekend bringing gusts of wind, extensive rain and snow to Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden. Malik left Britain and traveled to the Nordic region and northern Germany causing havoc and transportation chaos.
Scotland was badly hit and a boy and a 60-year-old woman were killed. Another storm, which may be “more severe for parts of Scotland” is due to hit Scotland on Sunday, says Scottish leader Nicola Sturgeon.
Malik left at least four people killed in northern Europe, destroyed houses and cars, closed down bridges, caused flooding, and halted transportation.

Thousands of households were without electricity.
