Award-winning Songwriter Tom Douglas to Speak at WriterFest Nashville

WriterFest Nashville has recently announced award-winning songwriter Tom Douglas will join the all-star cast of authors, publishers and agents for the two-day event which will be held at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee on Fri., Nov. 19 and Sat., Nov. 20.

Douglas is an American country music songwriter with Top 10 Billboard Country hits to his credit with songs he’s written for John Michael Montgomery, Martina McBride, Tim McGraw, Collin Raye, Lady A, Miranda Lambert, and others. His new film “Love, Tom: A Letter of Hope to a Desperate World” will premier on Paramount & CMT in 2022. Douglas will be joined by producer Austin Fish, and Tom’s co-writer on the script, “Tommy Douglas.”

WriterFest Nashville will feature lectures and conversations with bestselling authors, world-class publishing professionals, filmmakers, poets and songwriters. Attendees will have an opportunity to be a part of five breakout sessions with over 16 to choose from. Participants will also hear behind-the-scenes stories and gain tips from songwriters and filmmakers.
