On July 1st, the Pope will hold a summit with Lebanese Christian leaders. They will discuss the ongoing financial and political crisis in the country. The Pope has said the meeting will be an opportunity to pray for Lebanon’s stability.

And that is something many Christians have already been doing, says David from Cry Out Now. “Unfortunately, there is disunity between Christians in this country. [This occurs] not only between people from a more traditional background and people from a more evangelical background but even within various evangelical denominations. However, there was a call to pray, and approximately 50 or 60 people gathered together from various different churches. They sought the Lord for about half a night or six hours of prayer, just worshiping the Lord and asking for Him to forgive us whenever we’ve lacked unity. ”
