This is Daniel Whyte III, president of Gospel Light Society International with the Whyte House Daily Reading of the Chronological Bible Episode #195, where I read the Holy Bible in the King James Version each day in chronological order. This unique viewpoint allows you to read the whole Bible as a single story and to see the unfolding of God’s plan in history. Today we are reading Numbers 33.
These are the journeys of the children of Is’-ra-el, which went forth out of the land of E’-gypt with their armies under the hand of Mo’-ses and Aa’-ron.
And Mo’-ses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of the Lord: and these are their journeys according to their goings out.
And they departed from Ram’-e-ses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the morrow after the passover the children of Is’-ra-el went out with an high hand in the sight of all the E’-gyp-tians.
For the E’-gyp-tians buried all their firstborn, which the Lord had smitten among them: upon their gods also the Lord executed judgments.
And the children of Is’-ra-el removed from Ram’-e-ses, and pitched in Suc’-coth.
And they departed from Suc’-coth, and pitched in E’-tham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.
And they removed from E’-tham, and turned again unto Pi-ha-hi’-roth, which is before Ba’-al-ze-phon: and they pitched before Mig’-dol.
And they departed from before Pi-ha-hi’-roth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and went three days’journey in the wilderness of E’-tham, and pitched in Mar’-ah.
And they removed from Mar’-ah, and came unto E’-lim: and in E’-lim were twelve fountains of water, and threescore and ten palm trees; and they pitched there.
And they removed from E’-lim, and encamped by the Red sea.
And they removed from the Red sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.
And they took their journey out of the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Doph’-kah.
And they departed from Doph’-kah, and encamped in A’-lush.
And they removed from A’-lush, and encamped at Reph’-i-dim, where was no water for the people to drink.
And they departed from Reph’-i-dim, and pitched in the wilderness of Si’-nai.
And they removed from the desert of Si’-nai, and pitched at Kib’-roth-hat-ta’-a-vah.
And they departed from Kib’-roth-hat-ta’-a-vah, and encamped at Ha-ze’-roth.
And they departed from Ha-ze’-roth, and pitched in Rith’-mah.
And they departed from Rith’-mah, and pitched at Rim’-mon-par’-ez.
And they departed from Rim’-mon-par’-ez, and pitched in Lib’-nah.
And they removed from Lib’-nah, and pitched at Ris’-sah.
And they journeyed from Ris’-sah, and pitched in Ke-he-la’-thah.
And they went from Ke-he-la’-thah, and pitched in mount Sha’-pher.
And they removed from mount Sha’-pher, and encamped in Ha-ra’-dah.
And they removed from Ha-ra’-dah, and pitched in Mak-he’-loth.
And they removed from Mak-he’-loth, and encamped at Ta’-hath.
And they departed from Ta’-hath, and pitched at Tar’-ah.
And they removed from Tar’-ah, and pitched in Mith’-cah.
And they went from Mith’-cah, and pitched in Hash-mo’-nah.
And they departed from Hash-mo’-nah, and encamped at Mo’-se-roth.
And they departed from Mo’-se-roth, and pitched in Ben’-e-ja’-a-kan.
And they removed from Ben’-e-ja’-a-kan, and encamped at Hor-ha-gid’-gad.
And they went from Hor-ha-gid’-gad, and pitched in Jot’-ba-thah.
And they removed from Jot’-ba-thah, and encamped at Eb-ro’-nah.
And they departed from Eb-ro’-nah, and encamped at E’-zi-on-ga’-ber.
And they removed from E’-zi-on-ga’-ber, and pitched in the wilderness of Zin, which is Ka’-desh.
And they removed from Ka’-desh, and pitched in mount Hor, in the edge of the land of E’-dom.
And Aa’-ron the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of the Lord, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Is’-ra-el were come out of the land of E’-gypt, in the first day of the fifth month.
And Aa’-ron was an hundred and twenty and three years old when he died in mount Hor.
And king Ar’-ad the Ca’-na-an-ite, which dwelt in the south in the land of Ca’-na-an, heard of the coming of the children of Is’-ra-el.

And they removed from Al-mon-dib-la-tha’-im, and pitched in the mountains of Ab’-a-rim, before Ne’-bo.
And they departed from the mountains of Ab’-a-rim, and pitched in the plains of Mo’-ab by Jor’-dan near Jer’-i-cho.
And they pitched by Jor’-dan, from Beth-jes’-i-moth even unto A’-bel-shit-tim in the plains of Mo’-ab.
And the Lord spake unto Mo’-ses in the plains of Mo’-ab by Jor’-dan near Jer’-i-cho, saying,
Speak unto the children of Is’-ra-el, and say unto them, When ye are passed over Jor’-dan into the land of Ca’-na-an;
Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places:
And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it.
And ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families: and to the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give the less inheritance: every man’s inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falleth; according to the tribes of your fathers ye shall inherit.
But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.
Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.
When I was a teenager I wanted to get wisdom and knowledge, so I set out to read the big family Bible that many families had in those days. But I couldn’t get past Genesis 2 before I got bored with reading the Bible. I found out later in life that you have to believe on Christ and get saved before you can understand the Bible. So here is how I became a Christian and how you can too:
First, accept the fact that you are a sinner, and that you have broken God’s law. The Bible says in Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”
Second, accept the fact that there is a penalty for sin. The Bible states in Romans 6:23: “For the wages of sin is death…”
Third, accept the fact that you are on the road to hell. Jesus Christ said in Matthew 18:8: “Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.” Also, the Bible states in Revelation 21:8: “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”
Now that is bad news, but here’s the good news. Jesus Christ said in John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Just believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died for your sins, was buried, and rose from the dead by the power of God for you so that you can live eternally with Him. Pray and ask Him to come into your heart today, and He will.
Romans 10:9 & 13 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved… For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
If you believe that Jesus Christ died on the Cross for your sins, was buried, and rose from the dead, and you want to trust Him for your Salvation today, please pray with me this simple prayer: Holy Father God, I realize that I am a sinner and that I have done some bad things in my life. I am sorry for my sins, and today I choose to turn from my sins. For Jesus Christ sake, please forgive me of my sins. I believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died for me, was buried, and rose again. I trust Jesus Christ as my Savior and I choose to follow Him as Lord from this day forward. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life today. Amen.
If you believed in your heart that Jesus Christ died on the Cross, was buried, and rose again, allow me to say, congratulations on doing the most important thing in life and that is accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour!
