Brian Thibodeau, 20 years old, is under investigation for ties with the white supremacy movement. Thibodeau faced a domestic terrorism investigation involving racially motivated violent extremists after he was charged with possession of an unregistered gun silencer to which he pleaded not guilty.
His name was linked with the white supremacy movement and FBI passed this information to special agents from the Department of Homeland Security who were investigating the silencer. Thibodeau may be part of an online planning for possible violent attacks in the U.S.
He is scheduled to appear in court May 27 in an online hearing.
