Michael Strahan has been confirmed to have COVID-19 by his Good Morning America co-hosts.
The 49-year-old television personality did not appear on the ABC news and talk show once again on Thursday morning but his on-camera team – led by Robin Roberts – made the announcement regarding his positive test on his behalf.
The 60-year-old broadcaster said: ‘We know that you have noticed that Michael has not been with us here this week. He wanted us to let you know that he tested positive for COVID. Hes at home quarantining right now.’
George Stephanopoulos and Amy Robach also joined Robin at the desk for the statement.
