Sammy Tippit Ministries plans to produce a Christmas livestream event that will present the Good News to people all over the world.
In May, Sammy Tippit Ministries created a successful Facebook livestream event that shared the Gospel in 11 different languages. The ministry hopes to use a very similar format for the upcoming Christmas event.
Sammy Tippit explains that the idea for the event came when he was talking to a friend.
“I was contacted by a friend [who] has a ministry in Iran, and his wife does ministry among Iranians here in the United States. She has especially found that during the Christmas season Iranians are very open to the Gospel of Jesus Christ,” he says.
“She asked if we would prepare something on a larger scale, something with technology to reach the Iranian community. I began to think about what we had done previously in May, and I thought, ‘we could adapt that to Christmas.’”
With more prayer and planning, Tippit decided to reach out to not only the Iranian community but others as well.
“I prayed about it, and I really felt that it was something we should do. Around the world, people recognize Christmas as the Birth of Christ. I began to think ‘we can do this again with the whole world.’”
