Water service is scheduled to shut down Saturday at 1 p.m. for repairs and upgrades in Eastview Terrace, Williamsburg Court, and the 600-613 block of South Harbor Drive and 1701-1905 blocks of S Morgan St. according to the City of Granbury.
The work scheduled is said to include repairing links and adding valves.
Paul Gast, distribution and collection superintendent from the City of Granbury Public Works Department said all new components will be fully assembled and disinfected before installation.
“We are hoping that with the preperation of the area and parts the water will be off for a matter of minutes as opposed to hours,” Gast said. “Once placed back into service, the lines will be flushed according to Texas Commission on Environmental Quality Requirements.”
