“Biblical Truth” the Main Theme of UK’s National Prayer Week

UK Prayer Week Oct 11-17.

This coming week (Oct 11-17) Neighbourhood Prayer Network and Leading the Way UK are calling for Christians across the UK to come together and pray for Biblical Truth in society in it’s many spheres, including the church.

This final prayer week of 2020 brings together Neighbourhood Prayer Network and Leading the Way UK, the ministry of Dr Michael Youssef, to pray for a restoration of Biblical truth in our society. It follows two previous Prayer Weeks during 2020 which Neighbourhood Prayer Network has coordinated for its 7,500 members.

A full programme of videos and zoom prayer meetings will form the backdrop of activity during the week.

Each day, there will be special ‘in conversation’ programmes available on social media and YouTube, which will speak to different areas of society. Among the guests contributing include Gavin Calver, CEO of the Evangelical Alliance, the Rt Revd Philip Mountstephen, Bishop of Truro, Mervyn Thomas, Founder and President of Christian Solidarity Worldwide, David L’Herroux, CEO of United Christian Broadcasters, Peter Kerridge, CEO of Premier Christian Media Group and Sir Brian Souter, Founder and Chairman of Stagecoach.

In addition, each day will start with a devotional from Rev Dr RT Kendall which relates to the topic of the day.

Each evening, there will be Bible studies and former videos which are available for those unable to access materials during the day.

Launching on Sunday 11th October, an exclusive message from Dr Michael Youssef to the UK Church will be aired on social media focusing on Daniel chapter 9 as a reflection of our current situation as a nation. This will be repeated each day throughout the week and is being encouraged for churches and home groups to study in the coming weeks.
