The 2020 US election could have the highest voter turnout rate since 1908 with an estimated 150million Americans participating, accounting for about 65 percent of eligible voters. More than 58million Americans have already cast their ballots as of Sunday, with just nine days to go before November 3, with a majority of votes cast in Texas, California and Florida, according to the US Elections Project. Voters have waited as long as 10 hours in lines to cast their ballots in Georgia, Virginia, Ohio and New York.
