Leviticus 26:40-42 says, “If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me; And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity: Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.”

The Bible Knowledge Commentary says, “The bleak prospect described in verses 14–39 is bathed in a ray of hope by God’s gracious promise, But if they will confess their sins then I will remember My covenant with Abraham, and I will remember the land. Though Israel would break this covenant, yet God would not break His covenant with them. In His covenant faithfulness He will someday fulfill His covenant with Abraham by blessing a repentant generation of Jews in the land of Israel. Though Israel has been divinely disciplined by numerous deportations and dispersions, the blessings of the Abrahamic Covenant with the Jewish nation in the Promised Land in perpetuity await fulfillment in the millennial kingdom after the Second Advent of Christ.”

According to Reuters, The World Health Organization is cautious about endorsing the use of recovered coronavirus patients’ plasma to treat those who are ill, saying evidence it works remains “low quality” even as the United States issued emergency authorization for such therapies.

According to Magnolia News Live, a Mississippi school district has quarantined the entire fourth grade due to a coronavirus outbreak.

According to the News & Observer, a North Carolina high school has switched to online classes because so many staff are under quarantine.

According to the Michigan Bridge, There are at least 14 current coronavirus outbreaks at Michigan K-12 schools and colleges, but the state health department will not say where they are located or reveal how many cases there are.

According to Yahoo News, North Carolina State has paused athletic activities due to an outbreak of 30 coronavirus cases.

According to Bangor Daily News, 53 cases of the coronavirus and 1 death have been linked to a wedding at Tri Town Baptist Church in East Millinocket, Maine.

According to the Casper Star Tribune, Two outbreaks in Fremont County, Wyoming, with between 10 and 30 cases, have been tied to two churches and a camp hosted by one of them.

According to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, the outbreak at Bible Pentecostal Church in north Edmonton, Canada, has increased to 75 cases.

According to Reuters, South Dakota saw a 50% surge of coronavirus cases following its annual Sturgis motorcycle rally.

According to ESPN, World-record sprinter and eight-time Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt has tested positive for the coronavirus and is self-isolating at his home in Jamaica after celebrating his 34th birthday with a mask-free party last week.

What Is a Good Schedule for Homeschooling?, Part 9

The Alternating Home/Out Schedule

In fact, many homeschooling families, especially those with young children, find that a mainstay of organizing their weeks is that alternating pattern of home- and out-days. A big day of errands, lessons, grocery shopping and volunteering needs to be followed by a slower paced home-based day to give everyone time to recover and have time for reading, playing, exploring, and helping with home maintenance. This may especially be true for people living where there are a lot of activities available to homeschoolers, so they have to be careful not to over-schedule.

However, it can also be a wise rhythm for families who live in rural areas who have to drive long distances to activities: scheduling firm home days can be a relief from being in the car too much and valuing outside activities over home-based ones.

The home/out alternating schedule also provides relief for both your extroverted children and introverted children — who can look forward to having time to recharge with the level of interaction that helps them function best.

Now, if you are with us today and you do not know Jesus Christ as your Savior, allow me to show you how you can place your faith and trust in Him for Salvation from sin and Hell.

First, please understand that you are a sinner and that you have broken God’s laws. The Bible says in Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Please understand that because of your sins, you deserve punishment in hell. Romans 6:23 says “the wages of sin is death…” This is both physical death and spiritual death in hell.

But here is the good news. John 3:16 reads, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

The phrase “For God so loved the world” means that if you are in this world, God loves you no matter what you have done.

The next phrase, “that He gave His only begotten Son” refers to Jesus Christ. He is God’s son who suffered, bled, and died on the cross for your sins and for mine, and He was buried and rose again.

Our next phrase is “that whosoever believeth in Him”. The word “whosoever” means anybody at any time. The phrase “believeth in Him” means to trust in Him, to depend upon Him, to rely on Him, or to have faith in Him for your salvation.

Our next phrase, “should not perish”, refers to eternal punishment in a place called hell.

And, lastly, the phrase “but have everlasting life” means to live eternally in Heaven with God.

The Bible also says in Romans 10:9 and 13: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Dear friend, if you are willing to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation, please pray with me this simple prayer: Heavenly Father, I realize that I am a sinner and that I have done some bad things in my life. For Jesus Christ sake, please forgive me of my sins. I now believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died for me, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life today. Amen.
