Welcome to the How to Stay and Survive the Coronavirus Plague Briefing Podcast #100. My name is Daniel Whyte III, president of Gospel Light Society International.

Numbers 16:46-50 says:

46 And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from the Lord; the plague is begun.

47 And Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the congregation; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on incense, and made an atonement for the people.

48 And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed.

49 Now they that died in the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, beside them that died about the matter of Korah.

50 And Aaron returned unto Moses unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the plague was stayed.

The Bible Knowledge Commentary says, “Rather than achieving the expected end, however, the exhibition of the Lord’s wrath only led to more complaining by the people. As they pressed their opposition against Moses and Aaron, the Lord again appeared in His glory at the tabernacle, told Moses to step aside, and once more threatened to destroy the nation. Again, in abject humility and deference, Moses and Aaron prostrated themselves before the Lord. This time, however, Moses undertook measures to forestall the divine judgment. He urged Aaron to take his censer and rush into the midst of the assembly of Israelites and there seek God’s atoning grace. But when Aaron arrived he found the plague—evidence of God’s wrath—had already begun and that many were dead. Nevertheless he offered the incense. By the time the plague stopped 14,700 people had died. Then Aaron returned to Moses at the tabernacle. Since incense was symbolic of prayer, Aaron in effect was appearing among the people to intercede in prayer for them. It must have been clear to all that one censer in the hand of a man of God far excelled 250 in the hands of that many sinners.”

REPENT!

2 Chronicles 7:14 says, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. ”

Revelation 2:4-5 says, “Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.”

Leonard Ravenhill said, “No man is greater than his prayer life. The pastor who is not praying is playing; the people who are not praying are straying. We have many organizers, but few agonizers; many players and payers, few pray-ers; many singers, few clingers; lots of pastors, few wrestlers; many fears, few tears; much fashion, little passion; many interferers, few intercessors; many writers, but few fighters. Failing here, we fail everywhere.”

According to Reuters, U.S. coronavirus cases were approaching 4 million on Thursday, with over 2,600 new cases every hour on average, the highest rate in the world.

According to Axios, Dr, Fauci said, “We are living, right now, through a historic pandemic outbreak. And, we are, right now, in a situation where we do not see any particular end in sight. It’s the perfect storm.” For a public health official, this is “almost your worst nightmare,” Fauci adds.

According to CBS, Thirteen nuns at a Roman Catholic convent in Livonia, Michigan, have died of the coronavirus.

According to the Parkersburg News and Sentinel, there has been a coronavirus outbreak of 5 cases linked to an unnamed church in Wood County, West Virginia.

According to the Fort Worth Star Telegram, Hundreds of children may have been exposed to coronavirus at a church camp hosted by Fellowship Church in Grapevine over the past month. Parents have reported that at least 80 children came back from the church camp and tested positive with coronavirus.

According to West Virginia Public Broadcasting, 5 coronavirus cases have been linked to another outbreak at an unnamed church in Mason County, West Virginia.

According to the New Haven Independent, Iglesia Jesus Rey De Gloria in New Haven, Connecticut has temporarily closed its doors and transitioned back to virtual services after at least 10 congregants tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.

According to Reuters, U.S. deaths from the novel coronavirus rose by more than 1,100 for a second day in a row on Wednesday, including a record one-day rise in fatalities in Alabama, California, Nevada and Texas.

According to the Daily Mail, the US is on track to record 1 million new coronavirus cases in just two weeks as the daily death toll rises to its highest since May, while Texas sets a single-day high for fatalities and California sees a record 12,000 infections in 24 hours.

According to WVLT, a coronavirus outbreak at a southeastern Kentucky school has spread to 38 people. Kentucky River District Health Department Director Scott Lockard said the outbreak among Hazard Independent High School football players had spread by Monday to 18 football players, three coaches and 17 family members and close contacts.

According to the Daily Mail, Dr. Fauci explained that he doesn’t see the coronavirus ‘disappearing the way SARS-1 did’. ‘I don’t really see us eradicating it.’

Now, if you are with us today and you do not know Jesus Christ as your Savior, allow me to show you how you can place your faith and trust in Him for Salvation from sin and Hell.

First, please understand that you are a sinner and that you have broken God’s laws. The Bible says in Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Please understand that because of your sins, you deserve punishment in hell. Romans 6:23 says “the wages of sin is death…” This is both physical death and spiritual death in hell.

But here is the good news. John 3:16 reads, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

The phrase “For God so loved the world” means that if you are in this world, God loves you no matter what you have done.

The next phrase, “that He gave His only begotten Son” refers to Jesus Christ. He is God’s son who suffered, bled, and died on the cross for your sins and for mine, and He was buried and rose again.

Our next phrase is “that whosoever believeth in Him”. The word “whosoever” means anybody at anytime. The phrase “believeth in Him” means to trust in Him, to depend upon Him, to rely on Him, or to have faith in Him for your salvation.

Our next phrase, “should not perish”, refers to eternal punishment in a place called hell.

And, lastly, the phrase “but have everlasting life” means to live eternally in Heaven with God.

The Bible also says in Romans 10:9 and 13: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Dear friend, if you are willing to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation, please pray with me this simple prayer: Heavenly Father, I realize that I am a sinner and that I have done some bad things in my life. For Jesus Christ sake, please forgive me of my sins. I now believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died for me, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life today. Amen.
