ABC News Executive is Put on Administrative Leave for ‘Making Racist Comments at Back Staffers, Joking About Mass Shootings and Uttering Sexist Comments About Female Staffers’

ABC News opened an investigation into Barbara Fedida (left), the head of ABC News talent, according to Huff Post. Fedida is accused of making sexist remarks and racist comments towards black journalists with the network. She allegedly made inappropriate comments about mass shootings and referred to female employees with sexist language. Fedida dubbed a list of suggestions made by black staffers ‘the Black manifesto’. She’s accused of quipping that ABC News doesn’t make GMA host Robin Roberts (top inset) ‘pick cotton’ when questioning a potential pay raise for the host.
