PODCAST: How to Stay the Coronavirus Plague Briefing Podcast #36 with Daniel Whyte III

THERE IS MORE SAID IN THE PODCAST AUDIO THAN IN THE NOTES BELOW

Welcome to the How to Stay the Coronavirus Plague Briefing Podcast #36. My name is Daniel Whyte III, president of Gospel Light Society International.

Numbers 25:8 says, “And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So the plague was stayed from the children of Israel.”

The Bible Knowledge Commentary says, “Though Balaam had been unsuccessful in cursing the people of Israel, he evidently managed to play a role in their seduction by the Baal cult at Peor. When Israel was in Shittim, immediately east of the Jordan River where they camped before crossing the river, Israelite men engaged in sexual immorality with Moabite women. This was an integral part of the Canaanite fertility rites and was practiced in connection with the regular services of their temples. The physical, carnal aspects of this idolatry tempted the Israelites and led them into the spiritual apostasy of worshiping Baal. So serious was this breach of covenant, especially when Israel was on the threshold of the land of promise, that the Lord commanded Moses to take serious action—all the guilty individuals involved must die. While Moses was delivering this verdict, an Israelite man named Zimri was brazen enough to bring a Midianite cult prostitute named Cozbi right into the camp. Phinehas son of Eleazar, a priest, was so incensed at this bold and open sin that he took a spear followed the Israelite into his tent, and impaled both the man and his partner with it. This stopped the plague, evidently implied in the statement about God’s anger, but not before 24,000 people died.”

REPENT!

2 Chronicles 7:14 says, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Revelation 2:4-5 says, “Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.”

Leonard Ravenhill said, “If we will do God’s work in God’s way at God’s time with God’s power, we shall have God’s blessing”

NEWS

According to the AP there are now over 3 million confirmed cases of the coronavirus worldwide with over 208,000 deaths.

According to Reuters there are now 1 million cases of the coronavirus in the US, with 55,943 deaths.

According to the Daily Mail Doctors fear the coronavirus may cause the body to attack its own blood vessels and cause clots that cut off supply to the brain, thus explaining why so many young coronavirus patients are suffering deadly strokes.

GET PREPARED!

According to Business Insider, here is some advice from doomsday preppers on surviving the coronavirus:

Get your diet in check. Maintaining a healthy diet is a great first defense against viral illness. Malnutrition and nutrient deficiency hampers the immune systems of undernourished people, but so does obesity. Getting the right mix of healthy, wholesome foods in your diet rich in nutrients like zinc, copper, and various vitamins not only lowers your risk of chronic diseases like diabetes and heart disease, but it can also help your body fight off more temporary infections and illnesses, like COVID-19.

Get enough sleep. There is no debate about this one. Sleep is great for our immunity. When you haven’t slept enough, it’s harder for the body to fight off illnesses ranging from the common cold to cancer. According to one 2017 University of Washington study, even identical twins who sleep less than their look-alike siblings have more depressed immune function. About eight hours a night is a good benchmark.

“Top up” your supplies at home, instead of raiding the stores and stockpiling massive quantities of goods. Rather than emptying store shelves, preppers say that it’s best to stock food, water, and other emergency supplies slowly and diligently. Rotate out your older perishable goods, using them before they rot. Start topping off your supplies and do it over time. It’s a bad idea to buy canned goods you wouldn’t actually like to eat in an emergency.”

If you want to move into a more traditional living situation, move into off-grid housing. The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines off-grid as “not connected to or served by publicly or privately managed utilities (such as electricity, gas, or water)”

You can buy off-grid housing from Country Homes of America. Lands of America is the largest rural listing service in the Nation. The Network specializes in land for Sale which includes farms, ranches, mountain property, lake houses, river homes, and residential homes in smaller towns across the country..

HOME SCHOOL

Proverbs 4:13 says, “Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.”

James Leonard said, “A homeschool curriculum focuses on your child and your child alone, not on school or district requirements. Student-centered schooling motivates your child to meet intrinsic learning needs, which will create a lifelong natural drive toward curiosity and solving real-life problems. Why have your child spend hours a day conforming to a group when their own potential is waiting to blossom?”

Now, if you are with us today and you do not know Jesus Christ as your Savior, allow me to show you how you can place your faith and trust in Him for Salvation from sin and Hell.

First, please understand that you are a sinner and that you have broken God’s laws. The Bible says in Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Please understand that because of your sins, you deserve punishment in hell. Romans 6:23 says “the wages of sin is death…” This is both physical death and spiritual death in hell.

But here is the good news. John 3:16 reads, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

The phrase “For God so loved the world” means that if you are in this world, God loves you no matter what you have done.

The next phrase, “that He gave His only begotten Son” refers to Jesus Christ. He is God’s son who suffered, bled, and died on the cross for your sins and for mine, and He was buried and rose again.

Our next phrase is “that whosoever believeth in Him”. The word “whosoever” means anybody at anytime. The phrase “believeth in Him” means to trust in Him, to depend upon Him, to rely on Him, or to have faith in Him for your salvation.

Our next phrase, “should not perish”, refers to eternal punishment in a place called hell.

And, lastly, the phrase “but have everlasting life” means to live eternally in Heaven with God.

The Bible also says in Romans 10:9 and 13: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Dear friend, if you are willing to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation, please pray with me this simple prayer: Heavenly Father, I realize that I am a sinner and that I have done some bad things in my life. For Jesus Christ sake, please forgive me of my sins. I now believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died for me, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life today. Amen.

If you believed in your heart that Jesus Christ died on the Cross, was buried, and rose again, allow me to say, congratulations on doing the most important thing in life and that is accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour! For more information to help you grow in your newfound faith in Christ, go to Gospel Light Society.com and read “What To Do After You Enter Through the Door”. Jesus Christ said in John 10:9, “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.”
