*THERE IS MORE SAID IN THE PODCAST AUDIO THAN IN THE NOTES BELOW
Welcome to the How to Stay the Coronavirus Plague Briefing Podcast #34. My name is Daniel Whyte III, president of Gospel Light Society International.
Numbers 14:37 says, “Even those men that did bring up the evil report upon the land, died by the plague before the LORD.”
The Bible Knowledge Commentary says, “As a token of the certainty of impending judgment, the 10 spies who brought back a negative report and undermined the people’s morale were struck by a plague and died. This so impressed the people that they then resolved to forget their fears and undertake the Canaanite conquest at once. But it was too late for they could no longer claim the presence and protection of the Lord. With characteristic obstinance they rejected Moses’ counsel and without Moses and the ark pressed the attack in the hill country. Not surprisingly, the Amalekites and Canaanites launched a counterattack and severely defeated Israel, driving them all the way to Hormah, some eight miles southeast of Beersheba.”
REPENT!
2 Chronicles 7:14 says, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
Revelation 2:4-5 says, “Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.”
Leonard Ravenhill said, “The man who can get believers to praying would, under God, usher in the greatest revival that the world has ever known.”
NEWS
According to the AP the death toll from the coronavirus worldwide has crossed 200,000.
According to the Washington Examiner As the number of coronavirus deaths mounts, the White House’s best-case scenario of around 60,000 dead now looks out of reach..
According to the Washington Post The new coronavirus kills by inflaming and clogging the lungs, choking off the body’s oxygen supply. But clinicians around the world are seeing evidence that suggests the virus also may be causing heart inflammation, acute kidney disease, neurological malfunction, blood clots, intestinal damage and liver problems. That development has complicated the treatment of the most severe cases of and makes the course of recovery less certain.
GET PREPARED!
In a Popular Mechanics article, Expert Disaster Preppers Explain How to Ride Out the Coronavirus Plague, “Stay home. Everyone’s goal should be to not get or spread the disease. Ideally, you don’t leave your home, you don’t do anything other than go into turtle mode. The main goal is: Can you shelter in your home without going out into the world and spreading and catching the disease for at least a month?
Minimize contact. If you’re unprepared and you have to leave your home, you want to reduce your risk of catching and spreading the disease. Minimize the number of trips, try to buy more things at once without being a crazy panic-hoarder, and practice all the normal safety steps when going out: social distancing, coughing into your elbow, wear gloves, respirator, face protection if you have them. If you’re an at-risk person over the age of 60 or have some kind of underlying condition, I would do everything you possibly can to not expose yourself to the public. Maybe there’s a neighbor that can make a trip and drop off a bag of groceries outside your door.
Watch your spending. Hopefully people have emergency plans in place, they have properly managed their finances so that they can handle a disruption like this, but unfortunately many Americans can’t, so I would encourage people to immediately think about saving cash, not spending money on big purchases if they don’t have emergency funds.”
13 Benefits of Living and Traveling in an RV During the Coronavirus Plague
8. We’re staying sane by limiting our media exposure to occasional online news updates ‘as needed’. Our RV doesn’t even have a TV (intentionally) and we don’t watch the news. We simply keep up with what we ‘need to know’ as and when we choose. We try to manage our digital media consumption, and keep it to a minimum. We try to avoid talking about it much, or take on the heightened levels of fear, anxiety and emotions of others. Rationing news updates helps us manage our emotions and keep a healthy, balanced perspective.
9. We are still able to enjoy our favorite outdoor activities and adventures. Whether it’s hiking, biking, going for a scenic drive, or taking the Jeep out on a trail, we have so many options as we travel in our RV. We can visit lakes, have a picnic, visit national parks (with fewer crowds), and commune with wildlife. By continuing our outdoor activities as we travel, we are able to retain a sense of ‘normalcy’ as we go about our daily life.
10. We can adjust our travel pace to suit our needs and increase our productivity. Because we get to determine our travel schedule and itinerary, we can adjust our pace to suit how we’re feeling, and what we need to do. After a hectic couple of months, we’re actually happy to lay low in the RV and take it a little easier at the moment. With a big workload on our plates, we intentionally parked the RV in a quiet place so we can be even more productive, and get caught up on work and other household projects.
If you want to move into a more traditional living situation, move into off-grid housing. The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines off-grid as “not connected to or served by publicly or privately managed utilities (such as electricity, gas, or water)”
You can buy off-grid housing from Survival Realty. Survival Realty is an independent real estate marketplace for rural, off-grid and self-sufficient properties with hundreds of listings featuring solar powered homes, cabins and remote land and many agents experienced in rural and off-grid living and relocation.

Ephesians 5:31 says, “For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.”
Thomas Constable said, “Adam acknowledged that Eve was part of himself: “bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh”. When a man and a woman unite in marriage, they become part of one another in as close a unity as the one that existed before God separated Eve physically from Adam. The Scriptures regard this tie as more fundamental than any other tie that unites any other two human beings, including parent and child. It is partially because of this high view of marriage that Christianity has traditionally taken a strong stand for the indissolubility of the marriage bond and against polygamy, adultery, and divorce.”

Now, if you are with us today and you do not know Jesus Christ as your Savior, allow me to show you how you can place your faith and trust in Him for Salvation from sin and Hell.
First, please understand that you are a sinner and that you have broken God’s laws. The Bible says in Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Please understand that because of your sins, you deserve punishment in hell. Romans 6:23 says “the wages of sin is death…” This is both physical death and spiritual death in hell.
But here is the good news. John 3:16 reads, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
The phrase “For God so loved the world” means that if you are in this world, God loves you no matter what you have done.
The next phrase, “that He gave His only begotten Son” refers to Jesus Christ. He is God’s son who suffered, bled, and died on the cross for your sins and for mine, and He was buried and rose again.
Our next phrase is “that whosoever believeth in Him”. The word “whosoever” means anybody at anytime. The phrase “believeth in Him” means to trust in Him, to depend upon Him, to rely on Him, or to have faith in Him for your salvation.
Our next phrase, “should not perish”, refers to eternal punishment in a place called hell.
And, lastly, the phrase “but have everlasting life” means to live eternally in Heaven with God.
The Bible also says in Romans 10:9 and 13: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Dear friend, if you are willing to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation, please pray with me this simple prayer: Heavenly Father, I realize that I am a sinner and that I have done some bad things in my life. For Jesus Christ sake, please forgive me of my sins. I now believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died for me, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life today. Amen.
If you believed in your heart that Jesus Christ died on the Cross, was buried, and rose again, allow me to say, congratulations on doing the most important thing in life and that is accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour!
