PODCAST: How to Stay the Coronavirus Plague Briefing Podcast #17 with Daniel Whyte III

Welcome to the How to Stay the Coronavirus Plague Briefing Podcast #17. My name is Daniel Whyte III, president of Gospel Light Society International.

Deuteronomy 28:61 said, “Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.”

Matthew Henry said, “Sickness is another common effect of a strait and long siege, and that is here threatened: Sore sickness, and of long continuance. These should attend the Jews wherever they went afterwards, the diseases of Egypt, leprosies, botches, and foul ulcers. Nay, as if the particular miseries here threatened were not enough, he concludes with an et cetera. The Lord will bring upon thee every sickness, and every plague, though it be not written in the book of this law. Those that fall under the curse of God will find that the one half was not told them of the weight and terror of that curse. Multitudes of them should perish, so that they should become few in number. It was a nation that God had wonderfully increased, so that they were as the stars of heaven for multitude; but, for their sin, they were diminished and brought low.”

Leonard Ravenhill said, “Entertainment is the devil’s substitute for joy. The more joy you have in the Lord the less entertainment you need.”

According to the Washington Post The coronavirus is infecting and killing black Americans at an alarmingly high rate. In Milwaukee County, home to Wisconsin’s largest city, African Americans account for about 70 percent of the dead but just 26 percent of the population. The disparity is similar in Louisiana, where 70 percent of the people who have died were black, although African Americans make up just 32 percent of the state’s population. In Michigan, African Americans account for 33 percent of cases and roughly 40 percent of deaths, despite comprising only 14 percent of the population. In Chicago, black residents have died at a rate six times that of white residents. Of the city’s 118 reported deaths, nearly 70 percent were black — a share 40 points greater than the percentage of African Americans living in Chicago.

According to Daily Mail America’s coronavirus death toll has nearly doubled in the first week of April alone, bringing total fatalities to 11,000, compared to March’s entire total of 4,000 deaths.

According to NBC Dr Fauci has warned that we may never get ‘back to normal’ because there will always be a ‘threat’ of coronavirus returning.

According to the New York Times Governor Andrew M. Cuomo of New York said that 731 more people had died in the state from the coronavirus, the largest single-day increase since the crisis began. The state’s total reported death toll from the virus is 5,489.

Job 14:15 says, “Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands.”

Dave Ramsey said, “So how does my surrender play into our success? I was so broke and broken, at the bottom of that valley, that my personal faith was deepened dramatically. As a Christian I made the decision to run every area of my life as consistently with the Bible as I could. It is important to relate that once I started over and opened our new business, I decided that I would follow the spirit and the direction of Scripture to operate our business. I am convinced that those principles, woven into the coming pages, are the reason we win. Even if you aren’t a person of faith, you have to believe in hard work or you won’t win. You have to believe in treating people like you want to be treated or you won’t win. You will discover that the principles we follow are very akin to common sense. There is very little that is mystical or weird about how we work, except that we win.”

Now, if you are with us today and you do not know Jesus Christ as your Savior, allow me to show you how you can place your faith and trust in Him for Salvation from sin and Hell.

First, please understand that you are a sinner and that you have broken God’s laws. The Bible says in Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Please understand that because of your sins, you deserve punishment in hell. Romans 6:23 says “the wages of sin is death…” This is both physical death and spiritual death in hell.

But here is the good news. John 3:16 reads, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

The phrase “For God so loved the world” means that if you are in this world, God loves you no matter what you have done.

The next phrase, “that He gave His only begotten Son” refers to Jesus Christ. He is God’s son who suffered, bled, and died on the cross for your sins and for mine, and He was buried and rose again.

Our next phrase is “that whosoever believeth in Him”. The word “whosoever” means anybody at anytime. The phrase “believeth in Him” means to trust in Him, to depend upon Him, to rely on Him, or to have faith in Him for your salvation.

Our next phrase, “should not perish”, refers to eternal punishment in a place called hell.

And, lastly, the phrase “but have everlasting life” means to live eternally in Heaven with God.

The Bible also says in Romans 10:9 and 13: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Dear friend, if you are willing to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation, please pray with me this simple prayer: Heavenly Father, I realize that I am a sinner and that I have done some bad things in my life. For Jesus Christ sake, please forgive me of my sins. I now believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died for me, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life today. Amen.

If you believed in your heart that Jesus Christ died on the Cross, was buried, and rose again, allow me to say, congratulations on doing the most important thing in life and that is accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour!
