A UCLA gymnast has gone viral for her incredible floor routine set to a mashup of Beyoncé’s hits — and she even got a few celebrity shout outs following the jaw-dropping performance.
Nia Dennis wowed the judges with her Queen Bey-inspired routine when the UCLA Bruins faced off against the Utah Red Rocks on Sunday, which also happened to be her milestone 21st birthday.
The accomplished gymnast scored 9.975 on floor exercise for her near-perfect performance that has since taken the internet by storm.
The college junior performed to a medley of orchestral versions of Beyoncé’s songs, including ‘Crazy in Love,’ ‘Ego,’ and Destiny Child’s ‘Lose My Breath.’
Nia started her routine by strutting across the floor — a move taken from the singer’s famous backup dancers during her 2018 Coachella performance.
When she wasn’t jumping or flipping in the air during her powerful tumbling passes, she had the crowd going wild with her dance moves.
Nia was the picture of confidence during the powerful routine, and UCLA Gymnastics proudly took to Twitter on Thursday to share a video of it.
‘A homecoming performance that would make @Beyonce proud! @DennisNia made us lose our breath with her 9.975 on floor exercise last weekend in Pauley. Who else is crazy in love with her routine?’ they captioned the clip.
In just one day, the video has racked up more than 3.5 million views, earning Nia plenty of new fans.
Singer Alicia Keys was among those who gushed about the video after it went viral.
‘Look at this unstoppable power and confidence!!’ she captioned the footage. ‘Was just talking about how nothing gives you more power then being yourself! Shine @DennisNia , I’m inspired!!’
Actress Gabrielle Union also retweeted the clip, writing: ‘REPRESENT!!!!!!!’
With thousands of people singing her praises, Nia posted a tweet expressing her gratitude.
‘I am overwhelmed with happiness and joy,’ she wrote. ‘Thank you everyone for such positive messages, it means the world to me to have your support. This is so surreal I can’t even believe it!’
Nia has been an online sensation for a few years now. As part of one of her 2018 routines, she famously spelled her name in the air with her finger — a cheeky move that set her apart from the rest.
Her latest video comes just one year after her former teammate Katelyn Ohashi went viral for scoring a perfect 10 for her floor routine set to a Michael Jackson mashup.
She later cut the music from her routine following the sex abuse allegations made against the late singer in the documentary Leaving Neverland.
