Selena Gomez performed a make-up free, sweats-clad cover of Elevation Worship’s The Blessing, featuring Christian-crooning couple Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes, while at home in quarantine from the coronavirus on Saturday.
The 27-year-old ‘Texican’ pop star put her three-octave soprano pipes to good use while accompanied by piano for the listening pleasure of her massive 339.3M social media following.
The Dolittle actress was joined for the intimate performance by gospel singer Anna Golden and her big sister Liz Golden.
‘May His favor be upon you,’ the trio belted.
‘And a thousand generations / And your family and your children / And their children, and their children.’
Selena is far more prone to viruses due to her compromised immune system from lupus, as well as having underwent a life-saving kidney transplant in 2017.
As of Saturday, there have been 1,465 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Los Angeles with 26 deaths, and California Governor Gavin Newsom issued a stay-at-home order on March 19 to slow the spread.
