PODCAST: What President Trump’s Christian Evangelical Advisers Should Have Told Him to Say in His Speech About This Coronavirus Pandemic-Plague with Daniel Whyte III

Let’s pray.

Holy Father God, we pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and Holy Father God, we give You the glory and we give You the praise for Your goodness, Your meekness, Your lowliness of mind, Your amazing humility, in the sense that, Lord, You are so long-suffering and so patient and so loving—not only loving but showing lovingkindness to such a wretched and wicked and evil and ungodly and unthankful world including Your church. Have mercy, Holy Father God, upon us, and for Jesus Christ’s sake please forgive us all of our sins, our failures, and our faults. And Holy Father God, I pray that for those of us who are saved and have confessed our sins and have repented, crush and crucify our flesh and the old man within us, and fill us all with the fullness and the power and the unction and the anointing of Your Holy Spirit, and Lord, have Your Holy Ghost to speak to the hearts of Your people and even to politicians, governmental officials, people around the world—live and on-demand. Holy Father God, demonstrate the power of Your Holy Ghost. Move mightily in these perilous times and in these dark and difficult days and on the hearts of people who are not in the mood for repentance just like in the days of Noah, just like in the days of Lot and Sodom and Gomorrah, and so, Lord, as I will share with the people the way that I am praying, I am praying that You will be thorough with us all, starting with Your church, and, Lord, while the world is dying, that the church would rise again and share the Gospel with millions before they go out into eternity not knowing You as Saviour and into a Christless existence in the burning hell. In Jesus Christ’s name I pray and for His sake. Amen.

Ladies and gentlemen, I am not going to preach what I had planned. I’m going to do something a little different and share two things with you, briefly.

First, here’s what President Trump’s Christian, evangelical advisors should have told him to say tonight as we face what the World Health Organization, what the WHO calls now today a pandemic, and what I have been calling plague. And, so, here is what President Trump should say tonight:

Ladies and gentlemen, good evening. First of all, I want to apologize for not taking this pandemic, this plague, this coronavirus as seriously as I should have. And I want to apologize for some of the foolish statements that I made. I want all of you to take heed to the warnings of Dr. Tony Fouchie and my entire coronavirus task force because this is a very, very serious matter, and I do not want you to lose your life on my watch. Since this is going to mean millions of people in this country staying home from their jobs, from restaurants, from malls and shopping, from schools and day care, and major events such as concerts, basketball games, etc., as President, I am going to do all I can to make everything go as smoothly as possible by providing a response stimulus package to make sure everybody is taken care of. And I am going to ask Congress to forgive everybody of their student loans, and put all business loans in forebearance, and many other things.

I realize that everyone in this country does not believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and the God and Father of our Saviour Jesus Christ. And even though many of you may not think I am a Christian, I do believe in God and I do believe in Christ. I am not a great Christian, but I want to be. And as many of you know, I am indeed the chief of sinners and the least of all saints. I know I am not the best messenger of what I am getting ready to tell you regarding morality, but I have to say something that’s going to be hard but I believe true, and that is, my predecessor President Obama and I have made a grave mistake by endorsing homosexuality, the homosexual agenda, and homosexual marriage, and causing the U.S. government to sanction these abominations against our Creator God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and the God and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ .

Ladies and gentlemen, Galatians 6:7 makes it very clear in the Holy Bible: “Be not deceived, God is not mocked; for whatsoever a soweth that shall he also reap.” But these are not the only sins that are bringing the plagues upon us. God has been good to us. God has been good to America forming the greatest country in the history of the world.

Along with these other abominations is the sin of adultery, which I have committed myself; the sin of fornication; the sin of lying, which some of you believe me to be the chief in that category; the sins of dishonesty, rebelliousness, disobedience, pride, and stubbornness; robbing and stealing, murder and many other sins. And so we all must take responsibility—personal responsibility—for our own behavior. Not just me but everybody in the country. President Abraham Lincoln said, “It is the duty of nations as well as of men to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God and to recognize the sublime truths announced in the Holy Scriptures and proven by all history that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord.” So dear friends, even though we have to take responsibility for what we did—President Obama and yours truly—I want to say to evangelical Christian leaders who advised President Obama and who have advised me that you bear some responsibility as well in not warning us more fervently that we as human beings can sow something over here and reap a lot over there. Now we have sown the wind as a country, as a government, and we are reaping the whirlwind.

Ladies and gentlemen, we now have something on our hands that is bigger than the presidency, bigger than the White House, bigger than our Federal government, and so, until this pandemic, until this plague is over—if it ever gets over—I am calling on the nation to a solemn day of prayer every Thursday starting tomorrow, Thursday, March 12.

I am going to invite some pastors, some Christians, and some evangelicals who are not part of my pastoral circle of advisors, namely Dr. John McArthur out of California, Dr. Tony Evans out of Dallas, Texas, and Mrs. Anne Graham-Lotz the wonderful daughter of the late Dr. Billy Graham to help in this matter. So please participate with us right where you are. We don’t have to have a rally. We don’t need to meet at the Lincoln Memorial. We don’t have to be seen. We just need to be heard by God.

With that said, my fellow Americans, allow me to share with you what James Russell Lowell said many years ago: “Careless seems the great avenger

History’s pages but record

One death grapple in the darkness

‘Twix old system and the Word

Truth forever on the scaffold

Wrong forever on the Throne

Yet that scaffold sways the future

And behind the dim unknown

Standeth God within the shadow

Keeping watch above His own.

With that, ladies and gentlemen, remember “God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.” If you want to be saved believe on the Lord Jesus Christ right now. This is the best time in the history of America to go on and trust the Lord. And the history of the world for much of the world because tomorrow is definitely not promised to you. “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.”

——-

Now, if you are with us today and you do not know Jesus Christ as your Savior, allow me to show you how you can place your faith and trust in Him for Salvation from sin and Hell.

First, accept the fact that you are a sinner, and that you have broken God’s law. The Bible says in Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

Second, accept the fact that there is a penalty for sin. The Bible states in Romans 6:23: “For the wages of sin is death…”

Third, accept the fact that you are on the road to hell. Jesus Christ said in Matthew 18:8: “Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.” Also, the Bible states in Revelation 21:8: “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

Now that is bad news, but here’s the good news. Jesus Christ said in John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Just believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died for your sins, was buried, and rose from the dead by the power of God for you so that you can live eternally with Him. Pray and ask Him to come into your heart today, and He will.

Romans 10:9 & 13 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved… For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

If you believe that Jesus Christ died on the Cross for your sins, was buried, and rose from the dead, and you want to trust Him for your Salvation today, please pray with me this simple prayer: Holy Father God, I realize that I am a sinner and that I have done some bad things in my life. I am sorry for my sins, and today I choose to turn from my sins. For Jesus Christ sake, please forgive me of my sins. I believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ died for me, was buried, and rose again. I trust Jesus Christ as my Savior and I choose to follow Him as Lord from this day forward. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life today. Amen.

If you believed in your heart that Jesus Christ died on the Cross, was buried, and rose again, allow me to say, congratulations on doing the most important thing in life and that is accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour! For more information to help you grow in your newfound faith in Christ, go to Gospel Light Society.com and read “What To Do After You Enter Through the Door”.
