Terry Crews is cheering on his friend Kevin Hart as he recovers from injuries from a major car crash.

“There were some people who weren’t so nice. There were a lot of people that were happy he got into the accident,” Crews told US Weekly on Tuesday night. “It made no sense to me, but that’s human nature. But I’m here to tell him and that’s why I wanted to say, ‘Hey, man. I’m here for you. I got your back.’ Believe me, most of Hollywood and most people I know are supporting Kevin. Really, really pushing for his speedy recovery.”

Indeed, Hollywood is showing support for the comedian: Sarah Silverman, Jamie Foxx and Mindy Kaling were among the stars who wished him well via social media after news of the accident broke. And Dwayne Johnson even left his honeymoon early to fill in for Hart on “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”

Hart was scheduled to be Clarkson’s “first guest ever” on her new syndicated talk show, she said. “Because Kevin couldn’t be here, one of his good friends stepped the heck up and I love him. … His wife probably hates me,” Clarkson added.

However, the “Hobbs & Shaw” star said his new wife, Lauren Hashian, actually “approved” of him leaving their honeymoon early because “she LOVES Kelly.”

Hart is reportedly recovering from surgery following a “major” back injury in the crash of his vintage muscle car in the hills above Malibu early Sunday.

His wife Eniko Hart told TMZ the actor and comedian is “going to be just fine” outside the hospital on Monday, adding that Hart was “awake” but declining to answer further questions about his current state.
