A man’s body was found in Lake Granbury on Friday, a day after his 3-year-old daughter was found adrift in their boat.
Hood County sheriff’s deputies were called to the lake around 9 a.m. Friday, after a toddler was found floating in the boat alone.
Officials said the girl’s 32-year-old father had launched the boat from the Granbury City Beach Boat Ramp around 5 p.m. Thursday. At some point during their trip, officials say the father got in the lake, WFAA-TVreported.
Officials recovered the body of 36-year-old Oscar Robledo shortly after 5:30 p.m. Friday. They identified him as the missing father, Sheriff Roger Deeds said Saturday.
