A South Carolina woman died this week during a family vacation in the Bahamas, according to a report.
Molly F. Greene, who is the co-founder of Water Mission, drowned on Wednesday, news station WCBD reported.
Through her nonprofit, Greene was dedicated to supplying clean drinking water in disaster areas and developing countries.
She and her husband, George, founded Water Mission in 2001 after learning of the conditions in Honduras following Hurricane Mitch.
