Pastor Jamal Bryant, Bishop Noel Jones, Rev. Michael McBride and Other Black Faith Leaders to Interview 2020 Presidential Candidates During Young Leaders Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, August 15-17

ATLANTA, GA – The biggest names in Christian ministry and gospel music will convene in Atlanta, Georgia, August 15-17 for the “Young Leaders Conference.” During the event, members of the Black Church PAC will convene a candidate’s forum and allow young leaders to interview presidential candidates. Several 2020 presidential candidates, including former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Julian Castro and Mayor Pete Buttigieg are expected to attend and be interviewed by young leaders of faith. Invitations have also been extended to Senators Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker and Bernie Sanders. Senator Kamala Harris sent regrets for being unable to attend.

The event is co-sponsored by the LIVE FREE campaign and The Black Church PAC.

“Prominent faith leaders from across the country are uniting in Atlanta, Georgia to harness our political power, engage the presidential candidates around an agenda that will end mass incarceration, gun violence and voter suppression,” said the Rev.
