UFC Fighter Desmond Green Jailed On 20 Charges, Including DUI Manslaughter, After Deadly Crash

UFC lightweight Desmond Green was arrested and jailed Tuesday on 20 separate charges, including DUI manslaughter, stemming from his alleged role in a car crash last August that left two women dead.

Green, 29, remained in custody as of Wednesday afternoon at the Broward County (Fla.) Main Jail on bonds totaling $194,000, according to online records. A warrant was issued for his arrest on June 19.

A request for comment with Green’s attorney of record wasn’t immediately returned. A UFC spokesperson acknowledged Green’s arrest via text message but did not immediately comment.

Green faces a litany of charges: Two second-degree felony counts of DUI manslaughter; four third-degree felony counts of DUI causing serious bodily injury; third-degree felony posession of cocaine; five misdemeanor counts of DUI property damage; and third-degree felony driving with a suspended license.
