Star-Studded Cast of Trump Critics Led by John Lithgow and Mark Hamill Participate in Mueller Report Reading on Broadway in “The Investigation: A Search For The Truth in 10 Acts”

Mark Hamill and some famous friends tackled a play based upon the 448-page Mueller report on Russia’s meddling into the 2016 presidential election.

“Luke Skywalker” was joined Monday evening by John Lithgow, Annette Bening, #MeToo activist Alyssa Milano, and a host of others for a reading of “The Investigation: A Search For The Truth in 10 Acts.”

The play, written by Robert Schenkkan, was billed as a “historic” event.

“Actors and performers are coming together tonight for a stage adaptation of the Mueller report,” Mr. Hamill tweeted Monday. “The best part? The whole thing is streamed live, for free. Featuring @JohnLithgow, @Alyssa_Milano, Annette Bening, @HamillHimself & SO MANY MORE.”

Law Works, which hosted the live-stream event at 9 p.m. EDT, says its projects are aimed at “bipartisan voices” to educate the public “on the importance of the rule of law, the role of the special counsel in the justice system, and the integrity of our judicial institutions.”

Mr. Mueller’s report found no evidence to support claims that Mr. Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign ‘conspired or coordinated’ with Russia.”
