It’s on to the National League Championship Series for the Milwaukee Brewers.
The Brewers beat the Colorado Rockies 6-0 at Coors Field to sweep the NLDS, with shutouts in the final two games of the series. Five Milwaukee relievers combined to give up just one hit in 4⅓ innings to close out the game.
Milwaukee scored in the first inning, got a solo homer from Jesus Aguilar in the fourth, added two more in the sixth and scored two in the ninth on back-to-back homers from Orlando Arcia and Keon Broxton.
Lefty Wade Miley got the start for the Brewers, scattering three hits with two strikeouts across 4⅔ innings.
The Brewers have won 11 in a row dating to Sept. 23 and will have home-field advantage in the NLCS, which begins Friday, against the winner of the Dodgers-Braves series.
