Georgia University Revises Discriminatory Speech Code After Christian Student Group Files Lawsuit

Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) filed the case on behalf of Kennesaw State University student Ratio Christi.

ADF Senior Counsel Tyson Langhofer – whose legal firm is representing Christi’s entire student group in the matter against school officials – described Kennesaw State University’s speech policies as overbearing and unquestionably unconstitutional.

Langhofer maintains that all student speech was restricted to small speech zones on campus.

“And it also allowed them to tell which groups [were] to be in certain areas and then to charge them security fees for activities that others believed … [were] controversial,” Langhofer explained.
