Tony Romo rallied to win the American Century Championship in South Lake Tahoe, Nev. on Sunday.
The former Dallas Cowboys quarterback finished with a score of 71 points in the celebrity golf tournament, beating former major-league pitcher Mark Mulder by three points. Mulder had won the past three ACC tournaments.
Romo’s victory comes one week after winning the Racine Tri-Course Amateur Championship in Wisconsin.
The tournament uses the modified Stableford scoring system, which gives eight points for an albatross, five points for an eagle, two points for a birdie and no points for par. Golfers are deducted one point for a bogey and three points for a double bogey or worse.
