Pastor and gospel singer Donnie McClurkin took to his Facebook page this week to shut down rumors that he has throat cancer.
While the three-time Grammy-winner and two-time Stellar-winner has had health problems of late — including throat surgery to remove precancerous scar tissue — he has continued singing and preaching. However, some have noticed that his voice appears to be altered, giving rise to talk that he has a more serious ailment.
McClurkin responds to those rumors in the video below.
He tells his fans, “It’s not cancer. It’s precancerous… Don’t let this fool you. What God gave me to do I’m going to be able to do by His grace.”
