Psalm 90:10 says, “The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.”
I thank God for allowing me to live long enough to see–as time markers only–the marriage of Charles and Diana and the marriage of their son, Harry, to Meghan. The marriage itself is not that important to me but that the drop of Royal Blood lives and continuity of the Monarchy is interesting to me and if you are honest, it is interesting to you as well–at least a little.
But I digress. What I want to raise in this little piece is that you had better do whatever God wants you to do and you had better enjoy the things in life that God wants you to enjoy because as James said, “Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.”
The story is told that when Doria Ragland, the mother of the Bride, was pregnant with Princess Meghan Markle, she watched the wedding of Charles and Diana, the parents of Prince Harry. Thirty-six years passed since that wedding. Wow! many of us were there, just as excited and interested as the present generation viewing Prince Harry and Princess Meghan. The point is, time is moving on and so you need to get a move on and enjoy the scenery along the way.
By the way, do you know your destination?
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. (Acts 16:31)
