Spike Lee and writer-producer wife Tonya Lewis Lee fêted civil rights icon Harry Belafonte for his 91st birthday.

The trio had dinner with friends and family, including Belafonte’s wife, Pamela Frank, at the new uptown restaurant Omar at Vaucluse on Friday night.

“Spike brought out a cake and everyone sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to him as he beamed from his seat. Harry stayed long, drinking rum on the rocks. He was there with his wife and in a great mood. It was a moment,” a source told us.

Patrons in the restaurant clapped for Belafonte, who turned 91 on March 1.

The restaurant, at Park Avenue and 63rd, is the new venture from Greenwich Village dining club Omar’s La Ranita owner Omar Hernandez, in collaboration with financier-turned-restaurateur Ahmass Fakahany and chef Michael White.

It opened to the public on Friday after hosting tastings for guests including Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece, Bergdorf’s Linda Fargo, Stephen and Christine Schwarzman, rapper Young Paris, Vice’s Katherine Keating, and designers Gilles Mendel and Maxwell Osborne.
