Billboard No. 1 artist Bryan Popin returned to Bishop T.D. Jakes’ Potters House in Dallas, TX this past Sunday, November 12, to minister in song four years after he received an inspiring prophecy by Bishop Jakes. Popin opened with the hymnal, “Oh How I Love Jesus,” which led to Popin sharing his story on his difficult journey to success and how he almost filed for bankruptcy the same week he received his prophecy. Popin ended with what he considers a song that was inspired by Jakes, his Billboard Top 5 hit single, “I Got Out,” written by Popin and co-produced with super-producer AyRon Lewis (Kirk Franklin, James Fortune, Bishop Paul Morton Jr.).
Popin recently released his 3rd official single, “Step In The Name,” the follow-up to his chart-topping self-titled hit single,”I Got Out,” from his best-selling album of the same name to digital and streaming outlets (http://smarturl.it/StepInTheName) on November 3rd. This hot track brings heat with an infectious funky pop groove that mixes old school with the new school embodied with gritty horns, coupled with assertive lyrics, and an unforgettable hook.
Popin and other major recording artists and celebrities have joined together to STEP Together In Unity with his upcoming official world premiere music video.
