BCNN1 is calling on all Christians, no matter who you voted for, to stand with our sister in Christ. Go to her Facebook and Twitter page and tell her, “Count me in.” Let her know that you will attend her concerts.
Christian singer and reality star Tina Campbell has announced that she is postponing her “It’s Still Personal Tour” due to a lack of “support.”
The Mary Mary singer posted a message on Instagram that read: “We are grateful for those who were planning to attend but our overall ticket sales haven’t shown that we have the support that we need to continue to tour at this time. We’re convinced that that many more would love the opportunity to attend this praise filled, faith filled, entertaining, worship experience.”
She added, “We have decided to give ourselves time to reach all of those people and bring this amazing tour back in the spring of 2018. We hope to see you then.”
Many are convinced that the lack of support for Tina Campbell’s tour stems from her recent revelation that she voted for Donald Trump in the 2016 election largely due to his ‘views on Christianity.’
She told The Root, “I was faced with two presidential candidates that I really did not approve of. And so I had to find something, a commonality with one of them, that would make me feel like if I have to vote, I should utilize my right to vote. Since I don’t prefer either of them, what can I find that would make me vote? And some of Donald Trump’s views on Christianity, honestly, is what caused me to vote for him.”
