Dan Wickert said, “Scripture memory is a sharp, shining weapon against temptation. Memorizing Scripture invokes the aid of the Holy Spirit – God-on-the-scene in our struggles. The Holy Spirit Who dwells within us has the power to strengthen and comfort and gladden our hearts with His Word.”
The Scripture verse we are going to hide in our hearts today is 2 Timothy 2:2 in the King James Version:
2 Timothy 2:2 says:
And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
Holy Father God, we pray that all people would hide God’s Word in their hearts and that all people would trust Christ as Saviour. Amen.
God loves you. He loves you so much that he sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for your sins. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” If you are not yet saved and would like to be, all you have to do is pray and ask Jesus to come into your heart today and He will.
